Rather than going around to everybody's blogs explaining the "Jeff Hardy isn't champion" situation, why not just make a blog about it?
Let me just start off by saying I like Jeff Hardy. I like the guy. I liked him when he first debuted in the WWE, and I like him to this day. I think he's a great, unique in-ring competitor, and he adds a special "kick" to Friday nights.
I am not, however, so stuck up and obsessed with him that I'm going to throw a tantrum every time he loses a great opportunity
Why?
Because when he does get a big opportunity, he screws it up. It's not like the WWE just has it out for Jeff and enjoy teasing him. That's not the case. If anything, the WWE has done a lot for Jeff considering all his past mistakes...
No, fellow Sports Entertainment fans, when Jeff gets screwed out of a big match he'll potentially win - be it a Money In The Bank or a WWE Championship match - it's his fault. I mean look at the grand scheme of everything, and you'll understand.
Jeff has been suspended twice; one more and he's out, plain and simple. Considering this, Jeff is very lucky to be getting any high-profile matches, especially so soon after he screws up. Time, and time, and time again. Be it pills, alcohol, or any other assortment of drug he's on, he always gets caught. You think there's not a reason for this? The WWE isn't stupid - of course with his reputation he's going to be on check nearly 24/7. Not because they're out to get him - that's not it at all.
No, as amazing as it may come to you die-hard Jeff Hardy fans, the WWE isn't just presenting Jeff with all these great opportunities just to tease him. They want to see how he'll handle things, and if he'll go out and give 100% every chance he gets, while staying clean. Nobody, I mean NOBODY, gets caught with dirty piss and 3 months later gets to be WWE Champion. Nobody gets escorted off of an airplane due to intoxication and gets to be WWE Champion a month later. The only message that sends to Jeff is "Hey, Jeff, you can violate your contract all you want and it doesn't matter - the fans love you! Keep doin' what you're doing - and oh, here's the WWE Championship!"
They want to give Jeff big matches as a test. If he can handle having a prize in front of his face that he can't touch time after time after time after time and still give 100% for 6 or 7 months of being teased and tested, while staying clean, then maybe he'll get the prize he wants so badly.
Personally, I think Jeff would make a great champion. I think he deserves after all he's given to the company. But rewarding somebody for their countless violations and screw-ups doesn't send the right message to Jeff (or anybody, for that matter). They want to make sure they're going to be pushing the right guy and he's not going to screw it up.
I mean, what happens when Jeff wins the Championship and 2 weeks later he pisses dirty and gets terminated?
Exactly. Just... try to keep Sports Entertainment what it is meant to be - Entertainment. Jeff gave an absolutely stellar performance tonight, and his time will come; until it does, however, there's really nothing we can do but show support - and kicking and screaming and crying does not help your case; you only end up looking like a brat.

Great points! I actually tried to explain it that way to another person's blog earier, but I think you did a better job. I too am a BIG Jeff fan, and I'll be THRILLED when he finally gets the belt (and if of course, depending on his future actions), but I too understand that he can't be rewarded for his flub-ups. Great blog!
