The KO: What's the Project? Read to find out...

Thursday, April 2, 2009, 01:26 AM EST [General]

Ever since the WWE seperated from its association from the NWA in 1963 to the global phenominiam that it is today, there has always been champions that reign supreme in the ring. The same can be said for any promotion including WCW and ECW. But who exactly has reigned supreme the most throughout their career? This question came to my mind about a week ago, not only for the World Titles but for EVERY title recognized by the WWE (Yes, that does include WCW and ECW). So, over the past few days, I have done the research and punched the numbers to find out. And now...I reveal it to YOU, the WWE Universe as to who has been a champion amongst champions. Here is what I did:

I looked at every title recognized by WWE.com (minus the Hardcore title...it will be explained a little later, as well as both female titles) and did the research to see how long every reign was. I took the number of days each wrestler was champion with every title and added them together to get their score. Over the next few days, I will post 2 blogs a day showcasing who was a champion but not quite good enough to be called one of the best of the best. Then, on WrestleMania Sunday..the finale. The Top 12 Champions of all time will be unveiled to you, the people of the WWE Universe. So why waste anymore time..let's get on to the worst of the worst. The people who were champions for less then 2 calendar months for their careers (There will be a breakdown of how many days they were champion in parenthesis)

Tied for the worst champions ever (which would be 313th overall) are Larry Winters, Doug Furnas and Phil LaFron with 1 day each. All of them were as ECW Tag Team Champions.

T-312. Mo and Mabel/Viscera/Big Daddy V- 2 days as World Tag Team Champions and Oklahoma with 2 days as Cruiserweight Champion

T-309. Another 3 way tie between Psychosis (Cruiserweight Champion), Crowbar (Cruiserweight Champion) and Vince Russo (WCW World Heavyweight Champion) with 7 days total.

T-306. Another 3 way tie between Henry and Phineas Godwinn ( World Tag Team Champions) and Stan Stasiak (WWE Champion) with 9 days

T-304. A Tie between Jacqueline (Light Heavyweight Champion) and David Arquette (WCW World Heavyweight Champion) with 12 days.

T-302. A  tie between Alex Wright (Cruiserweight Champion) and Michael Hayes (United States Championship) with 15 days.

T-300. A Tie with 18 days between Masato Tanaka (6 as ECW Champion and 12 as ECW Tag Team Champion) and Buddy Rogers (all as WWE Champion)

My Memorial To Andrew "Test" Martin

Saturday, March 14, 2009, 02:28 PM EST [General]

The wrestling world suffered another tragic loss on Friday as Andrew "Test" Martin was found dead in his apartment in Tampa Bay, Florida. He was 33, 4 days from turning 34.

Now, I know I wasn't the biggest fan of his during his time in WWE but its always hard to hear about someone you've seen perform live and watch them growing up passing away. Test may have not been the best wrestler in the world, but he went out there and did what he loved the most....wrestle.

Test will probably always be remembered for 2 things...his love storyline with Stephanie McMahon and his time teaming with Albert with then manager, Trish Stratus and compete as T&A. He always did his best to make sure the fans went home happy and feel like they got their moneys worth even though he wasn't the biggest name on the card.

    R.I.P Andrew "Test" Martin
    1975-2009
You will be truly missed. Gone from us in life but always in our hearts.

The KO: Is there Really No Way Out?

Saturday, February 14, 2009, 11:54 PM EST [General]

Out of sheer boredom tonight, I felt it would be appropriate to start back up blogging on this site. This week will not focus on reviewing RAW, but rather my thoughts and predictions on the upcoming WWE PPV, No Way Out.

    ECW Championship
    Jack Swagger (c) vs Finlay

I just want to say..this is the best feud for Swagger right now. He's young and still needs to learn a little more to progress more and there is no one in ECW who could help him more then Finlay. As far as the match goes, I see a basic match with good chain wrestling. In the end, it will be an All-American victory.

Prediction: Jack Swagger retains with the Swagger Bomb.

    All or Nothing Match
Shawn Michaels vs John Bradshaw Layfield

Personally, I would have saved this for WrestleMania but I digress. I lost interest in this feud a while back..mainly from how uneventful it has really been. The match will again be nothing more then basic with HBK probably doing most of the storytelling with his emotions and body movement.

Prediction: This can go one of two ways. JBL gets DQ'd and they continue this feud or JBL wins and makes HBK do more of his dirty work for Mania. Im hoping for option #1.

    No Holds Barred
    Randy Orton vs Shane McMahon

A lot of criticism circles this feud. What people need to understand is that they couldn't have Orton in the Elimination Chamber because if he loses, his title shot at Mania looks like a joke and if he wins..there would be no point to him winning the Rumble. So they needed him to feud with someone and since anyone else who he could have potentially feuded with was going into the Chamber, why not a McMahon? Now, the match itself. The fact they put No Holds Barred means 2 things. 1) There WILL be outside interference and 2) There WILL be the typical Shane highspot.

Prediction: Orton gets the win after Legacy overpowers Shane (finally, right?)

Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena (c) vs Chris Jericho vs Kofi Kingston vs Rey Mysterio vs Mike Knox vs Kane

By far, the easiest match to predict. I won't waste time explaining it outside of this: Kofi, Rey, Kane and Knox aren't ready/aren't built up to hold the championship and Jericho is busy dealing with another feud.

Prediction: Cena retains. Order of elimination: Knox, Kofi, Rey, Kane, Jericho.

Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship
Edge (c) vs Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker vs Big Show vs Triple H vs Kozlov

Probably going to be the best match of the night. All the right people in the match to make it great. But again, to easy to predict. The title has changed sides more then Reggie Miller at All-Star weekend. It will NOT change hands and that is 100% FACT.

Prediction: Edge retains. Order of elimination: Show, Kozlov, Taker, Hardy, HHH.
