Hi, I'm Kristen and as of Wednesday Night May 13th I have decided that this will be the last season of American Idol I get into. There has just been too many past disappoints in that show for me to continue with it.
Welcome to the Fortress of Enlightenment. Today I'm in a FML type of mood. I mean a major FML type of mood. It started off last night when my favorite from day one was booted off American idol last night. Everyone was saying it was going to be Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey squaring off in the finals with Adam taking the crown. Well that's not going to happen now is it? Danny was booted off and I was really pissed about it. I figured hell with some sleep I'll get over it by the morning. Turns out I'm still pretty upset about it and its just pissing me off. I'm sure he'll end up getting a record deal one day but it's the waiting and not knowing if it will happen that's making me upset.
I was so upset about that last night I didn't think about today. Today was a horrible day and it's not even close to being over. I had my Statistics final today. I'm feeling confident that I did pretty well, but because I was so upset that Danny got the boot last night I almost forgot that it was the last time I'll be seeing my cute Math professor again. I never paid so much attention in math until now. My math grade is at the highest level it has been in years. I'm pretty bummed that I'll never have him as at teacher again. That was my last math class I needed to graduate. He really was great. He knew what he was doing, took time to help with students and always gave extensions on homework and allowed make up days for exams (which in college rarely happens most of the time). So yeah I sat in class taking the exam knowing that I'll probably never have another math teacher like him again. In fact there has only been one other math teacher I liked and that was my 12th grade math teacher Mr. Feinburg.
Continuing...I took the exam and of course that couldn't go peacefully. My stomach was growling during the whole thing. It was loud, very loud. I felt embarrassed. I nodded it off and figured just stop at subway after you're done. So I finished around noon and headed out to the parking lot to get into my car. It started to rain. Bloody perfect and I didn't have my umbrella with me. That didn't stop me from getting my sub. I get into my car and head towards Brooks Plaza to get my sub. I got stuck in that afternoon rush hour traffic for like 15mins, got behind some idiots who made a grid lock(those are always fun to watch) and almost rear ended someone. After all that mess I arrived at the parking lot and parked my car and took the key out of the ignition. I grabbed my purse with my sub in mind and headed to the door. Before ordering I figured it would be a good idea to get my money out. Well guess what?! My left my wallet at home. Yeah. After all of that I was driving without a license, no money, no ID no nothing. I was pissed. So I had nothing left to do but to just go home.
So I drove home still upset over American Idol, (I finally know how Patriots fans felt when they blew that perfect season and lost at the super bowl) not seeing my math professor again, and forgetting my wallet which means no subway. Then a reminder went off on my phone. "Dentist Appointment tomorrow at 9:30am. Now I get to get up early on a day I have no school and no work just to sit on a cold chair to have my gums and teeth scraped at by some mean old women and then to find out I have yet again another cavity or need to get a wisdom tooth pulled. I really hate going to the dentist. I think there all crooks who just want to get money from you. You tell them something hurts on your last cleaning and they take a look at it and say "Nothing is there" then on your next cleaning they find something in the exact same area where you told them it hurt. Jerks.
So now that you are done reading this feel free to laugh at my misery. I know American Idol is just a TV show and its lame but meh..I like it. Having your favorite Idol voted off is like having your favorite team lose or wrestler lose, or just any big disappointment that eats away at you. The only thing I look forward to is finals being over, selling my books back for some cash, and getting my rats. I'll still watch the Finale because I do like Kris Allen and I did always use to like Adam Lambert before he became stale. By stale I mean screaming through most songs. As to whom do I want to win? Don't care. It's already cast in stone for Adam to win.
