The Captain would like to ackowledge a great decision that was made recently in the world of late night TV for nocturnal people.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that Family Matters has recently been added to the Nick at Nite nightly line up.  I know it may seem as though this has nothing to do with wrestling, but it most certainly does.  What's the connection?  Well one of my favorite episodes is the one when Steve Urkel and Carl Winslow get so fed up with eachother that they settle their dispute on American Gladiators, and we all know who was a commentator on the original series of American Gladiators series... Mike Adamle.  So keep your eyes peeled for that one.

Anyway, I'm proud that this show finally made it to Nick at Nite because it makes up for their disgrace of an addition last year by the name of George Lopez.  I've grown to be able to enjoy some Lopez family jokes, however I feel it is too new of a series to put on Nick at Nite.  The only show I would let that rule slide on is King of Queens because it is absolutely hilarious.  But along with Family Matters, Home Improvement, Roseanne, Fresh Prince, The Cosby Show, Full House, and sometimes even Growing Pains, make Nick at Nite pretty irresistable right now.  Sometimes they throw in a Murphy Brown which is a huge disappointment, but for the most part you can happily watch a good 8 hour block of shows each night, while going on youtube during the George Lopez episodes.  All we need now is for Saved By The Bell and The Wonder Years to take the place of George and Murphy and we'll be set.

So tune in and enjoy.  I would post more often about wrestling and stuff, but Freddie Prinze Jr. is just too good.
