Clearly the internet community as well as just about anyone tuning in to ECW understands that Mike Adamle has not come off as the most knowledgeable commentator. He's bad. And by bad I mean a colossal flop. On the flip side, it's sparked new interest in ECW - because like the beginning of Mick Foley's music, it's a car wreck and I can't look away.
Tonight, Adamle walked off the announce position much to Tazz' surprise, but then HE walked off. I can understand if someone yanked Adamle, but why would Tazz leave as well?
I'll tell you why. William Regal. Or should I say, King William.
Regal demonstrated his power over the WWE as being its most "powerful entity" Monday when he had Raw taken completely off the air before its completion. So having Adamle removed is certainly within the realm of possibility. Tazz may have also been told to leave, or maybe he simply walked off when he got word of what happened. Either way it's pretty compelling stuff and continues to tread that very fine line between kayfabe and shoot.
Then again, maybe Mike simply had to go potty and felt since he hardly says a word anyway, he could just get up and go.
