WWE's reluctancy to use there minor titles!

I seriously believe WWE has a problem. They have certain titles in the company that have been dramatically disregarded and under-used. Thes titles which used to be the propelling force from the minor leagues into the major leagues. nowdays they just seem like a pointless accessory as having the title gets them no respect like look at the Intercontinental title, this is the championship that propelled The Rock, Triple H, and Stone Cold into superstardom.

The last person 2 hold this title that achieved any great sucess was Edge and Randy Orton there have been so many potential great superstars to hold this title but as soon as the loose the strap it seems like they have been demoted superstars such as john morrison, shelton benjamin, jeff hardy were perfect candidates to use this belt as a stepping stone to greatness but have all fallen short.

The dissappearence of the Cruiserweight  Championship is a mystery to me there are so many cruiserweights being unused and when used they are being used unapropriately such as tag teams to someone that should be there perfect rival or someone that is a complete mismatch. in my oppinion the cruiserweight division was captivating and entertaining untill it was made a joke out of in 2007 when they put the title on hornswoggle.

The United states title is probably being used more than the other to it was the perfect stepping stone  for john cena and bobby lashley. This could have been the same story for mr kennedy and finlay but for reasons unknown they have been kept out of the lime light. On the other hand the past year has made the most impact with the MVP, Matt Hardy feud this will deffinately make major stars out of them if not both MVP will gain massively of his near year and counting reign.

I agree. There are way too many championships in the WWE to the point that it seems everybody is some sort of "champion." They need to end the brand extension and unify the titles. Maybe keep ECW as the "developmental brand" featuring younger guys, but there should be only one "world" title, one tag-team title, and one secondary mid-card title (unify the IC and US belts). With fewer titles, there will be more guys gunning for them, and therefore they will mean more.
