chris wasnt really fired, that was a storyline. chris left because he was burned out, he wanted to spend more time with his family, and work on his music with his band fozzy.the wwe along with then gm eric bischoff, wanted to explain why jericho was leaving so they cooked up a loser leaves raw match between cena and jericho. i was in the audience for that match and it was great.the story was that jericho promised bischoff that he could take the wwe championship from cena,and said that if he didnt he would leave raw and the wwe,so cena wonthe match and bischoff said that jericho was ''fired'' from the wwe.
