Wow cant believe im writing my first blog, well techincally this is my 2nd one ever, but its been awhile. I will just be quickly giving my thoughts on the matches that took place on the Oct. 24th edition of Smackdown. Overall the show was good and the matches werent that bad. So lets get started.
1) Natalya and Maryse vs. Michelle McCool and Maria
This was quite an interesting opener, I thought the match could have gone on longer, but thats just me. I was actually hoping to see maria take on Michelle for the Divas championship, but I guess thats being saved for another week. Jesse and Festus coming down with the Marichi band was a little weird and im wondering where this storyline is going between Festus and Maria and where does Michelle McCool. fit in all of this. Anyway Maryse got the win which she seems to be getting over on McCool alot lately hmmmm.
2) Primo and Carlito vs. Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely
The second match of the night saw Carlito and his brother Primo who are the current WWE Tag Team Champions batting Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely in a non title match. This was another good match and im huge fans of Carlito and Primo. Chavo and Bam on the other hand didnt look so hot with Chavo constantly telling Bam to get his head in the game. The conclusion of the match saw Chavo provoking Bam which led to the Backstabber from Carlito and the 3 count. I just knew Chavo and Bam would eventually break up as a team.
3) Shelton Benjamin and MVP vs. R-Truth and Kung Fu Naki
Ok this one was probably my match of the night. Who would have ever thought Funaki would finally recieve a push and a win over MVP, I mean its been years since Funaki had a decent push and him and R-Truth looked great as a tandem in the ring. Could we see anew Tag Team in the works for these 2? I think it will be awesome.
4) The Brian Kendrick vs. Super Crazy
I wasnt really to crazy about this match, but its always nice to see Super Crazy wrestling, as this guy is just simply awesome.. Last week Kendrick came up with some lame excuse about being sick and had his enforcer Ezekiel Jackson fill in for him in which he dominated Super Crazy. I tell ya Ezekiel is going places and is definely a future main eventer in the WWE. This week Kendrick was back in action as he is continuing on his new road of sucess by defeating crazy. Im liking Kendricks new gimmick and hopefully it'll take him further then most people realize.
Main Event: Undertaker vs. Triple H
This was the match I was waiting for, I mean How long has it been since we last seen Undertaker and Triple H lock up in the squared circle. quite a long time now, its been about 6 yrs now so thats a very long time. This match was pretty good nonetheless and both men really gave it there all, although im not too fond of DQ finishes both superstars had to look good out there, even though I feel Undertaker was the winner due to Big Show coming out and assulting him the angle was set up great for this sundays Cyber Sunday PPV. After the match Undertaker left the ring and Vladimir Koslov came out to dismantle Triple H even more thats hes the most dominate superstar on SmackDown. However on sunday it'll be up to us fans on who we want to see face Triple H, and personally I would text the Triple Threat match, but since I dont have a cell phone oh well, all I can do is hope for the best.
