    Bye, Torrie

Friday, May 9, 2008, 12:31 PM EST [General]

Yesterday, I read that Torrie Wilson was given her release.  That was stupid on WWE management's part.  Almost as stupid as making Mike Adamle an ECW commentator.

It was bad enough when she was told by DOCTORS that she should never step in a wrestling ring again because of back injuries.  She had been doing some public relations and promotional stuff for WWE since that time.

I mean, there were ways they could've still used her for things that doesn't involve in-ring activity.  Like I had previously mentioned, she was doing public relations forthe company.  she could've been been a kayfabe girlfriend to a face or heel.  Maybe even try to ring announce.

If TNA is smart, they'll offer her a contract as soon as she becomes available.  I don't know if she had a 90 no-compete clause in WWE contract, but if the power-that-be at TNA have some intelligence, they'll wait.

See ya later, Torrie.  We hardly knew ye...

    Bye, Mike

I watched the video on YouTube of Adamle leaving the broadcast table.

I, for one, hope he keeps walking and doesn't come back, and Joey Styles goes back to commentating.  Who's with me?

    verbal no-no's

Well, I just read why Michael Hayes was suspended for 60 days.

Apparently, during WrestleMania weekend, he said the n-word.  What's worse, he was drunk when he said it.  Worse yet, it was directed towards Mark Henry.

The alleged phrase?  "I'm more of a n***** than you are."

Mark Henry got into a scuffle with Hayes about it.  Eventually, Mark Went to the WWE higher-ups and reported it.  Now Smackdown and ECW are without a head writer because Michael Hayes couldn't watch his mouth.

I've always read that Michael Hayes could be somewhat of a dick, especially after he threw back a few.  Regardless, that slip of the tongue shouldn't be tolerated.

He should take Isaiah Washington as an example.  Washington was cast memeber of a hit TV show ("Grey's Anatomy").  He made a not-so-nice comment about a co-stars sexual orientation, and was fired not long afterwards.  And Washington was sober when he made his comment.

Michael Hayes should thank his lucky stars that he wasn't outright fired.  Anyone else would be looking for another job.

I caught some clips of Mike Adamle's performance, if you want to call it that, from last week's ECW.  Good Lord, did he suck.

I mean, Jesus Christ, the guy did the commentary for the original "American Gladiators" show back in the 90's.  He got all of the names, moves, games, and weapons correct then.  You'd think he would've done his homework before he sat behind the desk.

What I think should happen is for WWE to let Adamle out of his contract, and put Joey Styles back behind the microphone, and let Joey commentate by himself, just as God and Paul Heyman intended.

    Hey, everyone.

Wow.  I've had my page less than 24 hours, and I've already gottten close to 200 views.  Neat :)

Anyway, I hope you guys are doing okay.  Feel free to add me if you wish.  Check out my Diva drawings and leave comments, if you want.  I've also drawn a couple of TNA Knockouts, if anyone would like to see those.

    That's it for now.  Later!
