So its been about a year since I posted a blog here.

Not sure if I'll be using this feature anymore as I'm more interested in the forums if and when I visit the universe.  I'm thinking if a revamp of the site happens that they should go completely away from the 'myspace' style and more towards the facebook attempt at subscription to what you want to know approach.

What I am saying is this, have the one main page be your main page.  You 'choose to be a friend' or subscribe to XX wrestler and not YY wrestler because you don't like them.

So on that page you see XX wrestlers updates, links to the latest happenings at WWE, links to comments your friends have made (so you don't read a whole book on that page), some targeted adverts.  Then the tabs on top send you to your profile (which nobody really looks at anyway), the forums, shopzone, wwe.com  etc.

No sense if making the universe be part of a parallel universe of wwe.  Put it all together and you've got a brand new integrated site.

..oh yeah I'm currently unemployed IT Admin/Mgr who would move up there in a heartbeat (hint hint)

Notice how each 'brand' is the same thing over and over.. same formula.

ECW:
GM shouldn't have been Teddy Long..  Teddy seems to have the jive to do some serious commentary!
GM Foley (never should have done commentary)

Change the show line up/format: One commentator and One backstage person that we would see very little of.  Tazz would've been a great 'voice of ECW'.  The commentator would stay close to the TitanTron entrance doing his commentary and have wrestlers cut live promos in front of the audience there. Cut all locker room skits.

RAW:
Keep it the same.  Jerry "hey look at that" Lawler needs JR.  That formula works and is money.  Keep all the stuff, skits, vinettes, commentary at ringside et al.  Do not PG the show.

Smackdown:
A new network, a new show!
what?!?! but..
New Show!!!
Am I crazy.. YES.. Welcome to WCW Smackdown!
(huh?  why?.. cuz you will have a splinter 'Heat' style show called WCW Thunder in syndication with matches that don't make WCW Smackdown, another machine to gamble on lesser knowns while recapping an already canned Smackdown)

Format: Three Commentators!  AND a perm Spanish Announcer's table (think syndication in Spanish speaking countries that hasn't worked out that well.. until NOW).
This is the extreme family friendly show, with a hint of double entendre for adults to watch with kids.

A fresh style with good vs evil, rockers, gimmicks, heavy on the cruiserweights.  A brand that doesn't mix with any of the others as the package is for non-cable, family and syndication.  This would expand WWE instead of running the same hamster wheel with the cookie cutter technique that hasn't changed since back when they had no competitors.

Ara Abrahamian took NO **** from the Chinese and threw the bronze medal in wrestling in the middle of the mat and left.

As he's not trained in Pro Wrestling, bringing him in hot might have posed a problem had you not had Vladimir Kozlov or Shelton Benjamin.   He could work a program with either or heck, both of them!!!!

Massive PPV Draw as you could hype this as no man could!

meh to the new belt.

Two things.. its now the ECW title belt.  No longer a champion belt.  Kind of the cheap way to go about making it the ECW TV Champ belt.  The other is that Silver is second place in every sport.

Seems like the person making the Diva's Champ belt took a demo of the Diva belt and added some hormones to come up with this belt.  Also explains why a couple ppv's ago the Cruiserweight belt had the ECW logo on it on a banner instead of the actual ECW HW belt.

They blew the opportunity to bring an 'attitude' era to ECW. 
Henry as Champ, Legends like Tony Atlas.. could've said a new ECW is reborn with the GM having a ton of new faces lined up waiting at his door.  Could've had weekly segment of Teddy Long going down to Florida with a legend or two to 'scout' the latest new guy for an invitational.  Each week you could see battered bruised 'new guys' and they are added to the invitational.  You get a few minutes to get a taste of the persona then have about six to eight of these guys go in an ultimate battle to get a chance to sign on to ECW.  
NOT just show up on TV unannounced and be a 'new guy' that shows up for no reason, without a push or gimick.  Atlas could've been used as the legend that had Teddy's loyalty and the eventual betrayl to Mark Henry would've been pure gold!!
That could have been over a month's worth of TV and a huge PPV match that just pushed new wrestlers where those guys would do everything to steal the show (much like TNA's Ultimate X does).

The brand called ECW would be reborn and stand for something fresh, innovative and new.. instead of taking the ECW original bad boy Trans-Am Bandit and putting Rolls Royce wheels on it saying we're ECW and no longer undignified.

Remember how Carlito was on TV and had story lines and was fun to watch?

Then he thought about being a big fish in a small pond back in Puerto Rico, but decided to stay in the WWE and that was the beginning of the downward slope.

today I walk into Big Lots discount clearance store, and low and behold there were Sabu and Carlito action figures for five bucks.  Is the Cool One being push down in hopes he would leave?  Will he stay and collect a paycheck doing jobs that push no angle?  Will people write about a faceless nameless writer that is 'unhappy' with the progression of his charactor and role... hmm, think some more bbq on this might make it taste better.
