As you read this, I am in Miami, Florida where I anxiously await Thursday night’s Oklahoma vs. Florida National Championship game from Joe Robbie Stadium to be televised on Fox. Nonetheless this week’s Friday Night Smackdown features SD General manager Vickie Guerrero looking to erase the embarrassment of last week that she experienced at the hands of HHH. The vindictive G.M. is forcing The Game to wrestle three times in three, very challenging bouts against opponents not yet advertised.
A Tables Match, Handicap Match, and a Last Man Standing Match are all on tap for the Cerebral Assassin come Friday night.

This is essentially a home game for USC and even though the alums at rival school UCLA like to say the USC Trojans are named after a condom – not that there is any thing wrong with that – I see USC having too much speed for Penn State, under normal considerations. However, the return of 80-something year old Nittany Lion coach Joe Paterno, who was rumored to have taken Mae Young to his high school prom, has me thinking. I want JoePa to win

Even though the “World’s Angriest Announcer” and me had only two matches to broadcast at No Mercy, I personally enjoyed the pay-per-view and thought the fans in Portland helped elevate the presentation. The final three bouts of the pay-per-view, two of which were ironically, wink-wink, broadcast by the Friday Night
