WrestleMania 28 will return to Toronto for 2012.

Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 04:58 PM EST [WWE in Canada]

For the third time, WWE will have WrestleMania go north of the border in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the Rogers Centre in 2012 for WrestleMania 28.

Toronto has hosted Wrestlemania 6 & 18 and the only city to host a WrestleMania event outside the United States.

The 18th WrestleMania had 50,000 tickets sold in the first couple of hours when tickets went on sale with thousands lining up at the box office to save on service charges.  But with internet technology, tickets could be ordered online with a credit card via Ticketmaster.

WWE hopes to add some special events prior to the annual event with special autograph signings and Q&A sessions.

Fan Expo 2009 had about 59,000 fans.....could we see over 60,000 for 2010?

Sunday, September 6, 2009, 02:16 PM EST [WWE in Canada]

We hope that WWE legends the Iron Shiek & the Honky Tonk Man are a start to having more legends and even those that are in WWE that can spend the weekend in Toronto to say hello to the fans and even sign autographs and take pictures as well.

Fan Expo 2010 will be in Toronto August 27-29, 2010 and we hope that we can add more pro wrestlers past and present to attend next year's Fan Expo, including having a weekend of WWE events in Toronto, London, Hamilton, Barrie and Oshawa.

So if anyone wants to see some of these WWE legends, superstars and divas attend next year's Fan Expo, support Hobbystar and the Fan Expo for 2010.

Here is who I would like to see attend at the next Fan Expo in 2010:     John Cena (Jr.); Gail Kim; Batista; Ric Flair; Howard Finkel; Triple H; Shawn Michaels; Chris Jericho; Kelly Kelly; Mickie James; Beth Phoenix.

Let's hope WWE can fit some events next year during this year's Fan Expo.  If so, we could get more fans than ever before!

I give out special thanks to the Honky Tonk Man and the Iron Shiek for attending this year's Fan Expo.

Glad I got to say hello to them both and they both are feeling great.

As you know, Toronto gets RAW on September 14 while Hamilton gets ECW & Smackdown! the next night.

Happy Holidays as WWE comes up to Canada for the holidays

Monday, December 22, 2008, 01:49 PM EST [WWE in Canada]

Well, the time has come as there's a WWE Supershow coming to Toronto for the holidays this year.  I believe this is the first time that a WWE RAW/Smackdown! is doing their shows in Canada just before the Christmas break.

We got a World Title #1 contender tournament that will happen with eight wrestlers competing.  The winners will advance to the semi-finals for next week's RAW show on December 29, 2008 before ringing in the new year for 2009.

At least the weather has been co-operative today, so the WWE entertainers won't have to worry about flight delays.  However travel to the Air Canada Centre will be a messy one with roads either snow covered or partly covered with possible slippery sections until later in the week when we expect to be out of this cold snap by Christmas Eve and by the weekend, hoping this heavy amounts of snow will thaw out.

Now for those from WWE that I have added as friends, it's simple.  John Cena is added because he made an appearence at the Eaton Centre's Bell store.  The Hardys made an appearence at a Pizza Pizza located in Pickering along Whites Road between Finch and Sheppard.  Fink & Katie Lea were on last week's moderated chat.  Kelly Blank was nice to add my on MySpace (as well as the Hardys) and Beth Phoenix was in my town of Ajax, ON, Canada back in May 2002 during Victoria Day weekend.

What are my New Year's resolution for 2009?  Well, we know the Royal Rumble is coming to Detroit and WrestleMania 25 in Houston.  I'm sure the Undertaker will be the event's main spotlight, knowing that's where he is from....or Death Valley.  I would also like to see Katie Lea make an appearence on Coronation Street when she returns to England and be used in a wrestling match with one of the young female characters in that British soap.  Canada is about 9 months behind the UK on the series.

I have some last minute shopping to do for my sister's kids, now that I got extra cash in my bank account.  I got a little squeaky toy for my border collie to chew on which I secretly put in my giant blue stocking.

If anyone from WWE wants to know what is feels like when plowing a driveway, they should try it Tuesday night when another snowfall of 10cm falls in the GTA.  At least my driveway is a one laner and a bag of salt all ready for the next snowfall tomorrow.

Anyway, I wish you all a happy holiday and hope all goes well in 2009!
