June 15, 2009 was a big announcement from Vince McMahon as he opted to sell Monday Night RAW to billionaire and rival Donald J. Trump.
For the RAW on June 22, 2009 in Green Bay, WI, the entire program will go uninterrupted, as the show will have no commercials what so ever since Trump can do whatever he wants and he'll pay the bills himself for that RAW episode only.
For those that remember Trump for WWE purposes, he beated McMahon at WrestleMania 23 and made his head go from a gray haired man to a bald headed man for a few months.
Trump hopes to announce more surprises what he's at the RAW event in Green Bay on June 22, so keep your fingers crossed and see what he'll do next and what GM he will hire.
Note that there could be a RAW in Toronto on September 14, 2009, so he could be at the event, since Toronto has a Trump Tower Toronto located in downtown Toronto and could be near completion as its scheduled for a 2010 opening at 311 Bay Street.
Remember that RAW could come back to Vince again and get his monopoly back somewhere down the road.
Well first off, RAW now has no GM, which means the McMahons and Triple H are running the show on this 3-hour card that starts at 8pm EDT on June 15, 2009.
As you know Vickie Guererro opted to step down as GM not because of the fans mocking her, but to spend more time with her children, since she doesn't seen them as often. Vickie was Eddie's wife before Eddie died in November 2005.
We have a World title match, ECW title match and the WWE title match where it's Randy Orton taking on Triple H, which could be no holds barred, or they could purposely make the match a no contest on June 15 and keep the title vacant until the Great American Bash where they could face each other in a Hell In A Cell match.
As for CM Punk, he might turn on the fans if he defends against Jeff Hardy that evening. The ECW title will be Tommy Dreamer against Jack Swagger and it all takes place in Charlotte, NC.
Other big announcements could be in store for the upcoming Great American Bash and maybe into the Night of Champions and Summer Slam.
WWE doesn't return to Canada until early August and in mid-September, when Breaking Point (formerly Unforgiven) takes place in Montreal on September 13, 2009. Toronto will probably get the green light for a RAW show the next night where Smackdown & ECW head for Hamilton. They also go to Ottawa on the eve of Breaking Point.
Let's hope the superstars of WWE all have their passports ready in August, because as of now, you need to have a passort when crossing the Canada/US border by any method of transportation or on foot. However, if crossing the border by land or sea, either a passport or a special enhanced driver's license or some legal documents is acceptable, as long as you have it ready when approaching the customs booth to avoid any unnecessary delays.
We'll see what happens for June 15. I could've been the interm GM for RAW, but I have no passport, so I am not welcome.....unless I buy a hard-to-get or hard-to-afford ticket to one of the events in the Toronto area.
Could someone find an agent that needs a client for me to hire?!
I would like to give Vickie any advice for these matches to help entertain the fans. I'm becoming a loyal chatter on the WWE Universe and I want to thank Corey & Fink for their weekly visits online to get the fans to interact with these two and other superstars from RAW, Smackdown! and ECW.
Hopefully, I'd like to see Vickie on the chat for once. Let's hope she does during the Extreme Rules PPV where each match has a stipulation.
Just think someone mentally challenged to help Vickie control RAW's destiny. But then again, I have no passport so all communications would have to be by internet chat or cell phone.
I might be expected that HBK could get a real beating in tonight's RAW match as Kozlov is overdue to be used to face the Undertaker at WrestleMania.
It maybe possible that Kozlov and The Undertaker will face each other in a Casket Match to see if the Undertaker will go 17-0, or get slammed in a casket by Kozlov to make Russian headlines.
John Cena might want to make suggestions to Vickie about tonight's matches in the interest of fairness on the show.....one idea would be announcing to have Edge face an opponent he has not beaten yet, which would be CM Punk, the current Intercontinental Champion. No titles on the line, only thing is on the line is who is the better man.
Another idea would be to have Johnny Morrison & The Miz defend the World Tag titles against Cryme Time.
And as for Randy Orton, he should be teaming up with Cody & Teddy to face John Cena, Triple H and Rey Mysterio in a six-man tag.
Those need to be brought to the attention by the fans. I'm sure these matches will be considered down the road.
It's been an annual tradition after WrestleMania where sometimes it's best to shuffle the deck on the current WWE rosters from RAW, Smackdown! and ECW and with Christian returning to WWE, things can shake up even further.
So here are some possible outcomes that might happen at the upcoming draft which takes place live on RAW. They will continue using representatives from each roster to take part in a match where the winning team gets someone from one of the other two rosters. It's possible we'll see 4 going to RAW, 4 going to Smackdown! and 2 to ECW. In the draft 6 went to RAW, 5 to Smackdown! and only 1 went to ECW. A couple of days later, a supplemental draft will also send others elsewhere.
Big Show will go to ECW. (He actually went to RAW) Brie Bella will go to RAW. Cody Rhodes will go to Smackdown! MVP will go to RAW. (Prediction was correct) Charlie Haas will go to Smackdown! Dolph Ziggler will go to ECW. Mickie James will go to Smackdown! Shawn Michaels will go to Smackdown! Hurricane Helms will go to RAW. Tommy Dreamer will go to RAW.
That's some of the predictions on who will be going where. So brace yourself on April 13 & 15, because this could be anyone's guess.
