After the tally and WWE's opinion, Hardcore Holly was dismissed on January 16, 2009.  Thanks to all who voted.

Despite the hit and run involving Jeff Hardy and his girlfriend that suffered minor injuries, Jeff should be ready to face Edge for his WWE title at the Royal Rumble.  We don't know if Jeff's injuries are minimal, but if he's not physically fit, they could have Edge win the WWE title at the Royal Rumble.  We'll see what happens, hoping the injuries will not affect the upcoming pay-per-view event.

OK, the matches were not what I was expecting, but we know it'll be HBK vs. John Cena on next week's RAW.

Rey Mysterio will have his hands full teaming up with Kofi Kingston against the World Tag Team champions Johnny Morrison & The Miz, but it's a non-title match.

Therefore, Layla El will interfere with either CM Punk, or distract the ref in the ring while Regal gives CM Punk his own version of Go To Sleep with his brass knuckles specialty.

Also Jillian Michaels will face Kelly Kelly Blank and she'll give Jillian her blank kick on her before the pin.

And Santino with WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix will go up against Goldust with Melina Perez.  Santino will give Goldust his own curtain call.

Well we know that the RAW main event for the World title will be Cena vs. JBL and we do not know if HBK will get involved and help him win the World title, as stated in my previous blog.  HBK could be the Special Guest Referee in that match to prove where his worth will lie, meaning that there is speculation is that JBL will prevent HBK from entering the Royal Rumble.  If he's entered, expect him to go on to WrestleMania for the title as if he is Mr. WrestleMania in Houston or compete in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

The ECWs for the Royal Rumble:

The 2009 Royal Rumble winner could be anyone's guess right now.
