Fans would love a WWE event in their own backyard.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 10:44 AM EST [General]

With a scheduling conflict on May 25, 2009 with the NBA West Conference Final playoff game and WWE RAW, one could ask the question "Why don't you come to my backyard or town and do the show there?"

It would be a funny question with fans holding up signs (even in Denver, CO) with a message reading "WWE IS INVITED TO MY HOUSE" showing sympathies as to the travel they made...and it's also Memorial Day in the US that time as well.

Perhaps WWE should try Mile High Stadium where they could get over 50,000 fans attending and it would be a rare outdoor event.

Who knows what could happen if the NBA uses the 1-2-2-1-1 format to avoid the conflict like the NHL has been using in those rarities.

But rest assured, something will be settled.  If not, then get the ring set up in my backyard for free....and some autographs as well.  :)

Who is next in line to face the new champs?

Monday, April 27, 2009, 05:49 PM EST [General]

All three major titles chaged hands at Backlash, where Edge's victory with the help of Big Show, meant that Smackdown! just hit the jackpot with the World title on their show.

However, the conditions on John Cena and Triple H remain unclear and we do not know if they will exercise their re-match clauses for another title shot.

Batista will probably go after Randy Orton's title for now, while Edge may be facing either the Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, the Great Khali, or CM Punk for Edge's World title.   Vladmir Kozlov could be the next contder to face Christian for the ECW title.

Other possibilities include Dolph Ziggler going after Rey Mysterio's Intercontinental title while MVP takes on the Brian Kendrick for the US title.  The Colons could face Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. for the undisputed tag team titles on RAW.  Michelle McCool could go after Melina's WWE Women's title, while Mickie James or Kelly Kelly Blank might go after Maryse Ouellet for the WWE Divas title.

At least WWE will make some stops in early August to western Canada, including a RAW show in Calgary and a Smackdown!/ECW combo in Edmonton.

Let's hope my predictions do play out in the months ahead.

What do Americans think about the English?

Saturday, April 4, 2009, 11:17 PM EST [General]

Well, for those that want to know about the English, you might be asking when William Regal or Katie Lea Burchilll give out thanks, whatever happened to saying something like Cheers, or Cheerio, or Never Mind the Bullocks?

Or adding an unnecessary letter to their name like making Lea to Leah or Regal to Regall?  Or saying cheque for check as if they are taking it from the French?

You wanna know what Strong Bad thinks about the English?
