WWE.com has sadly announced that Leah Maivia, whose late husband High Chief Peter Maivia was inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame this past March, passed away on Sunday, October 19. She was 81.

Mrs. Maivia's husband, High Chief Peter Maivia, ran the Hawiian wrestling promotion NWA Polynesian Pro Wrestling. When Peter passed away in 1982, she ran the territory until 1988. A decade later, she would see her grandson, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson skyrocket to the top of the industry and beyond.

There was said to be what was described as a "Nitro-like" vibe to the Smackdown/ECW tapings this week in Las Vegas, NV. The script for the show wasn't finished until the show was about to begin. This happened back in August before a TV taping in Moline, IL as well.

Dos Caras Jr., who just stated last week he was finishing up in Mexico and heading to WWE, changed his mind and after meeting with his bosses has decided to stay with the company through the end of the year. He said WWE wasn't offering him enough money yet so he was going to stay for the next three months.

Oh Well; it's just one less superstar's name I have to remember :]

-- SmackDown star Funaki is officially going under the name "Kung Fu Naki." WWE.com has changed all references to his name in his profile to reflect his new ring name. On last week's edition of SmackDown, Funaki was nicknamed "Kung Fu Naki" in a backstage segment with R-Truth. On Friday night's show, Funaki appeared in a karate outfit in a backstage segment with Vickie Guerrero and Big Show.

-- Regarding the 3 hour RAW TV taping here in Tampa, Florida on November the 1st, on TV they are advertising another "one night reunion" of Shawn Michaels and Triple H as DX in a match against John Morrison and The Miz. They also said a main event to be named will take place inside a steel cage and shown the WWE promos that have been showing for John Cena lately on WWE shows.
