JBL on the cover of a magazine, that’s right - and a muscle magazine. I did a photo shoot this week in Miami with Torrie Wilson for Muscle and Body Magazine, the magazine of Vitamin Shoppe. I was hoping to have lost 100 pounds total and almost made it, I lost just more than 95 pounds for the shoot.

I weighed in at 235 pounds for the shoot and was at 330 pounds when I started losing weight. Of course, Torrie looked like Torrie - so she was smoking hot as usual. The magazine comes out in May. OBAMA!

I am especially proud to be an American today. I want to congratulate our country for making a huge leap forward by electing an African-American to the highest office in the land.

After riding many years with Ron Simmons, my best friend, The Godfather and Theodore Long and seeing how blacks can still be treated in certain areas, I am very proud that a black man will be president. This is a great day.

I didn’t vote for President-elect Obama, but he will be my president and I will be proud and support him in every way I can. That doesn’t mean I will always agree. I didn’t agree with Bush or Clinton either, but I will always support him as our president.

I am also proud that a woman was one step away from becoming vice president. With the wonderful wife I have who has been named to every “most powerful people” in the world list lately, I see the glass ceiling first hand. It is great that that ridiculous barrier has been shattered. We are now truly a melting pot, and I am proud of that.

I hope the hate and vitriol that has encapsulated this campaign will now stop and let’s figure out how to get out of this stinking mess we have gotten ourselves into.

I was talking to J.R. at catering yesterday as I often do about Dr. Joe E Styles' haircut. Now Dr. Styles claims it is a fade, J.R. and I disagree. Personally, I think he is mad at his head, or perhaps, he lost a bet. However, I would not say it is a fade. An old-fashioned buzz cut is what it looks like to me.

I truly believe that Dr. Styles cuts his hair himself to save money and calls it a fade to save face. That is only my personal opinion, but then again I am JBL and I am normally right. And, my hair is perfect so I should be an expert on hair.

I've gotta be nice though, because Dr. Styles runs WWE.com, and he likes my newest product that is going to debut in a few weeks. Speaking of -- I have lost 63 pounds so far. I have had a broken back, several knee surgeries, a double hernia operation in the past, a current herniated disc, a past torn bicep, and a current torn rotator cuff and labium in my shoulder -- however, I have developed a product that allows me to get up in the morning and feel like training. J.R. is an expert on barbecue, so speaking of meat heads -- I think so far Adamle would be considered different. The fascination with Reagan would tend to be worrisome, but then again, when Adamle played football against Gale Sayers, they didn't have really good helmets.

Speaking of idiots -- our politicians. Now McCain chose a woman that has little to no experience, but the Republicans claim that she has more than Obama. Do you think that maybe neither is qualified to be president? At least she is not running for president, and Obama is. Our congress just got off of a five-week break. Now this break was created when there was no air conditioning in Washington, D.C., and it was too hot to work. However, once there was air conditioning, they never bothered to come back to work. A bunch of pathetic individuals if you ask me.

My wife on the cover of FORTUNE magazine, ranked the No. 38 most powerful woman in NYC. I might keep this Mrs. Layfield. Of course, she never took my name anyway, so I had better hope she keeps me.

What a great article in FORTUNE. My wife is rapidly becoming the biggest influence on Wall Street, now that’s cool. Of course, she would have to replace me for that honor.

I am starting up my own distribution company in Nashville within a month, Layfield Distribution. I might have to see if Good Ol’ J.R. wants to sell his outstanding beef jerky in Music City. As long as I don’t have to hear stories about OU football, it would be great.
