    WWE: GOOD AND BAD

Monday, April 21, 2008, 11:34 AM EST [General]

Hi, I'm new to this site but I've been a fan of wrestling since i was 8 years old and i know what i'm talking about when it comes to professional wrestling, or 'sports-entertainment' as it's become apptly known. Now, I'm just going to give MY opinion on what is good and what is bad in the WWE in the first quarter of 2008. Once again- my opinion.

    GOOD

    • The Raw 15th Anniversary Show - and unlike everybody else, i wasn't dissapointed by the fact The Rock wasn't there, because i didn't expect it anyway.
    • The Royal Rumble - I'm not a fan of John Cena as a wrestler, but i wasn't a fan of Hogan's either; my point being this was extremely close to a Hogan pop when Cena showed up.
    • No Way Out - this was a great show, start to finish, although leading up to it, I did think that two Chamber's in one night may be too much. However, I believe it didn't matter, as this was another great ppv from WWE - 2 out of 2...
    • Big Show vs Floyd 'Money' Mayweather - I'll admit, there were two editions of Raw where the build up was poorly done, but the start and the finish proved to be perfect, and I say perfect because I wasn't somebody who expected 'Show to win; although it was well done, I'm not too happy when other professionals walk into OUR RING. We are wrestling, we do what we do best, you do what you do best- BOX. Don't just walk into our ring when you feel like it, because your a 'celebrity' and you wanna' waste some time whilst Boxing tries to find someone for you to fight.
    • WrestleMania - Great show, as was the Hall of Fame. I cried watching both. Ric Flair is the greatest of all time. Yes, Shawn Michaels is amazing and I love him too, but without Ric, we wouldn't have the Heartbreak Kid we have today.
    • Finally, Randy Orton. This guy has proven that he has what it takes to be the leading man in the WWE- but, every leading man needs someone to battle, and in my eyes, Orton vs Cena has a lot of potential- one on one.
    • Oh yeah, Santino Marella. WHAT A GUY!

    BAD

    • Triple H. In my eyes, it should have been Orton vs Cena - one on one at 'Mania. But, that obviously didn't happen. However, needless to say, Triple H was in the match but didn't walk away champion, but we all know it's coming. I just hope Orton and Cena get the chance to headline a BIG show one on one, but they screwed up this year. The idea of Cena never losing the title, Orton being awarded it, cheating his way to keep the title time after time, and then out of nowhere Cena returns to win the Rumble and faces Orton for the title he NEVER LOST at 'Mania. All of this would have been fantastic, and at No Way Out, they could have had Triple H vs John Cena for the #1 Contender's spot, with Cena winning and Triple H becoming the bad guy once again. Also, if they were to do that, they could have let Jeff win at the Rumble, because we all wanted it, only to have him lose it back at No Way Out, similar to 1999 with The Rock and Mankind. Then, Jeff would be a BIG star, have him win Money in the Bank, and then have Triple H square off against Batista in the Battle of the Brands Match instead of Umaga.
    • Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly. Quickly, Rhodes has a lot of potential and is good on the Mic, but right now, the last thing he needs is to be in the tag division, and even worse, be in it along with Sparky Plugg.
    • The dissappearance of Kenny Dykstra. Like Rhodes, this kid has alot of potential and then some. He is an outstanding performer and needs to be used.
    • Finally, Mike Adamle. This guy has been terrible from the moment he calld Jeff Hardy ''JEFF HARVEY'' at the Rumble and what is his reward? To be the last nail shot out of Vince's Nail Gun that permanently aims at the legacy of ECW.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS. Hope you enjoyed it.
