Before we begin, I just got Smackdown vs RAW 2010 earlier today, so I can't wait to play this bad boy after ECW tonight, and try to recreate last night's oh so epic Monday Night Raw, which Rob and I are going to talk about right now. Hit it, Rob!
"5 days from now, it's Bragging Rights on PPV, and if you mix red with blue, you got a bunch of people feeling a little black and blue.
"At the start of last night's Raw, guest host Snoop Dogg came out in his Pink Cadillac along with new RAW divas, Eve and the Bella Twins, warming up the WWE Universe in Jacksonville, Florida, which was the hometown of RAW diva, Kelly Kelly. Degeneration X followed, and they were trying to evaluate team Smackdown. I Liked what advice Triple H had for Eric Escobar. If he's going to sleep his way to the top, do it with someone who weighs less than him. After all, that is what Triple H is doing, but enough said about that.
"Anyway, they brought out team Raw and it was appearing that there was a little friction between the team. HBK and the Game had a feeling that they knew that dissention within the ranks was going to happen, so they set up a 5 on 5 Tag Team match against the men they beat to be on team Raw.
It was:
Big Show Cody Rhodes Jack Swagger Kofi Kingston Mark Henry
----VS----
Chavo Guerrero MVP Evan Bourne Chris Masters Primo
"Here's the catch-- if anybody from team Raw gets pinned, then that person would be replaced was the guy who pinned them. As you can probably tell that the friction on team Raw was still going on as there was no focus, no teamwork, none what so ever, so it was appearing that Degeneration X MAY need to do some final adjusting before this Sunday.
"But in the end, it was Jack Swagger who got the pinfall for team Raw as he overcame the internal strife. However, the friction continued as team Raw was continuing to go at It.
"This match, I really could have done without as WWE Champion, Randy Orton did battle against Legacy member Ted Dibiase. Before the match got started, back in the locker room, Orton told Dibiase that if he fights back in any way, shape, or form, he will regret it for the rest of his life. I don't why he was doing this, but Dibiase was allowing Orton to have his way with him. The look on Dibiase's face told the WWE Universe that he was much more than just a henchman for Orton, and that someday he will be WWE Champion, but in the end, Orton nailed Dibiase with the RKO to get the win.
"Orton's challenger this Sunday has a lot on is mind, and I'm making reference to John Cena, in what could be his last match on Raw, as he took on the Game, Triple H. This is the 4th one on one match between these 2. Micheal Cole said that this would be a Wrestlemania main event. As a matter of fact, it was Wrestlemania 22 in which Cena beat Triple H to win his first WWE Championship.
"This match was main event material throughout the duration. With his Raw career being on the line this Sunday, Cena didn't want to disappoint the WWE Universe and believe me, he didn't. The crowd in Jacksonville, FLA was really into this match, but In the end, one man had to come out on top, and that was Triple H, when he nailed Cena with the Pedigree. After the match, Triple H extended his hand, showing respect to John Cena. If you ask me, I think that Triple H doesn't want Cena to leave Raw at all.
"Last Friday night, the Miz was comparing John Morrison to Marty Jannetty, and that didn't sit right with Snoop Dogg, so he made him face Jannetty last night. It's been a while since we have seen him in the WWE, and even though Jannetty lost the match to the Miz, he has proven that he has shown no sign of ring rust at all.
"Jillian was not happy about being the shortest reigning Divas Champion in WWE history when she lost to Melina last week, thanks in part to the Divas trade by last week's RAW GM, Access Hollywood's Nancy O' Dell.
"Jillian had Chavo Guerrero in her corner who interfered in the match after he saw Hornswoggle A.K.A Snoopswoggle emerging from under the ring. This allowed Melina to refocus on her match and come out on top. Now it's time for Melina to focus on this Sunday when she along with hometown girl, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim representing team Raw takes on Michelle McCool, the Glamazon, Beth Phoenix and Natalya in a 6 Diva Tag Team match.
"Shawn Micheals was supposed to meet Chris Jericho, but this match ended in a no-contest when Chris Jericho came out with his team, one member at a time, but team Raw came out to even things up, and before you knew it, all 14 men were in the ring giving each other an evil staredown.
"But Vickie Guerrero came out with her annoying as hell catchphrase, 'Excuse me!!', saying that she was ordering team Smackdown to leave, but Triple H told them to leave as well, and that they were already in trouble, because they don't work for Vickie Guerrero, and the 2 teams engaged in an all out brawl as Raw went off the air."
Well, what an episode that was, and I thought we were gonna get through a week in WWE without Vickie Guerrero's annoying catchphrase, but whatcha gonna do? Next week, 2 of my favorite racers from NASCAR, my 2nd favorite sport next to basketball, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano are going to be hosting RAW! Have a turnbuckle tomorrow, boys and girls!:D

"One week from tomorrow is Bragging Rights, and we already know that team Raw has a very impressive team going into that huge 14-man Tag Team match. What Teddy Long failed to realize that Chris Jericho already announced this past Monday night on Raw, that he is already the captain of the Smackdown team.
"As Jericho was talking about what's going to happen to Team Raw at Bragging Rights, and ripped apart right in front of the WWE Universe, the new DX Untold Story. Then, here comes the Big Red Monster, Kane, declaring himself the co-captain of Team Smackdown. Jericho very begrudgingly acknowledged him for his size and strength, and felt that Team Raw really didn't stand a chance.
"So last night, Smackdown had a series of qualifying matches for Team Smackdown, are here is how it all went down.
"Over a month ago on WWE Superstars, there was a Triple Threat match with Finlay, Mike Knox and Dolph Ziggler, in which Ziggler won, and became the Number 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Last night on Smackdown, the same 3 men met, but this time it was for a spot on Team Smackdown.
"What a good match this was. With such implications, you have to wonder what it was going to take to a get a spot on Team Smackdown. Well, Ziggler, who in my opinion is yet another main event just waiting to happen, saw a chance and took it. Finlay had Knox right where he wanted him when he nailed him with his shillieagh, but Ziggler wasn't going to allow Finlay to cover Knox, when he pulled him off of Knox, and got the win for himself.
"Say what you want about Dolph Ziggler, the day will come when some gold is around his waist.
"Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty have had their share of great battles over the last few months since being drafted to Raw. Last night's match was no exception, especially with spots on Team Smackdown on the line.
"DH Smith had an ankle lock applied on Shad, but Shad breaks out and tagged in JTG, and Tyson Kidd was tagged in as well, and JTG goes to work on Kidd, until Smith tried to get involved, but he was stopped by Shad.
"Kidd was ready to polish off JTG, but Shad grabbed the leg of Kidd. This distraction allowed JTG to finish off Kidd, and Cryme Tyme is now a part of Team Smackdown.
"Well, all I can say is, SHE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!:( I'm making reference to Vickie Guerrero, who was at ringside when her new boytoy, Eric Escobar saw action against Matt Hardy, for yet another spot on Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights.
"Okay, I'll admit his wrestling ability did impress me a great deal. I like his mean streak and use of aggression, but don't, by any means at all, count Matt Hardy out, because he really took the fight to Escobar, until Vickie Guerrero came in the ring, pretending that she was hurt, but we all know what it really was-- just a distraction to finish off Hardy.
"I can't wait for Edge to come back, and what a rivalry it would be seeing Edge and Escobar in the ring against each other.
"The final Bragging Rights Qualifying match consisted of Drew McIntyre against R-Truth. McIntyre earned the last spot on Team Smackdown when he rammed Truth's back and shoulders into the steel ring steps and post. Although Truth dug deep and really took the fight to McIntyre, in the end, it was too much to handle.
TEAM SMACKDOWN CONSISTS OF:
Chris Jericho Kane Dolph Ziggler Cryme Tyme Drew McIntyre Eric Escobar
"So I think that we are in for an amazing 14-man Tag Team match at Bragging Rights.
"Last night, Smackdown saw the return of the Dirt Sheet with Miz and Morrison, and let me say that John Morrison saw right through The Miz, and I really feel that Morrison is going to show the Miz that he was the one that carried The Miz and Morrison's team and not The Miz.
"Jericho does have a great team going into Bragging Rights, and last night he was telling Michelle McCool what he wants out of her, but new Smackdown Divas Mickie James and the Glamazon, had other plans.
"Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool would be a match that I would pay to see.
"The main event saw 2 best friends, Batista and Rey Mysterio in action against each other. Mysterio nailed the Animal with a 619, but when he was ready to finish him off, Mysterio was caught and the Animal tried for the Batista Bomb, and Rey countered and gets the 3 count. Batista had his right shoulder up, but the referee didn't see it, and Unfortunately, the ref's decision is final.
"After the match was over, Mysterio was attacked from behind by CM Punk, who gave him a GTS, but the Animal was a little late in saving him.
"Next week on Friday Night Smackdown, the Undertaker will face CM Punk in another Submission match with Scott Armstrong as the referee, and Teddy Long will be at ringside. The Undertaker told Punk, Armstrong and Long that once you enter Hell's gates, there is no going back."
Well said, my man. What a week it has been in WWE, huh? I can bet next week is gonna be a week to remember in the WWE, what with the S-N double O-P D-O double G himself coming to RAW to host, and what could possibly be John Cena's last RAW match, the WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2010 game coming this Tuesday, and I will be the first line to get a taste of what's to come, and next Friday's Smackdown with the epic Submission match main event. I can't wait! See you all next time for more!:D
"In the words of Joey Styles, oh, my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"What a week it has been in the WWE, both on TV, and behind the scenes. What with Jim Ross not being at the Smackdown tapings because of his wedding anniversary, WWE Hall of Famer Captain Lou Albano passing away, and how about this-- Shane McMahon resigns from the WWE?
"That news came out of nowhere. This will take effect 1-1-10, so you know what that means, right? Vince is going to do everything that he can do to convince Shane to stay with the company. After all, Shane is next in line to take over the family business.
"Anyway, I'm sure that we are all going to keep our eyes on that one. In the meantime, here is a recap of last night's WWE Superstars. ------------------------------------------------------- "From Raw, it was the final Bragging Rights qualifying match to be on team Raw, in which Mark Henry took on the Masterpiece Chris Masters. So far, it is looking like team Raw is going to have an impressive team with Triple H as the team captain.
"Henry wanted so much to be a part of team Raw, knowing that they would have a size advantage with he and the Big Show.
"Henry injured his right knee on Raw in a Tag Team match 2 weeks ago, so you know that the focus for Chris Masters was the injured knee of Henry.
"Masters did do a number on the injured knee of Mark Henry, but Henry came back in a big way, using his size and strength to put away Masters with a hard-hitting World's Strongest Slam to get the win.
SO TEAM RAW CONSISTS OF:
Triple H Shawn Michaels Cody Rhodes Big Show Kofi Kingston Jack Swagger Mark Henry
"Impressive? I think so, but I'm wondering who is going to be a part of team Smackdown, captained by Chris Jericho. I'm sure that tonight we are going to see some qualifying matches for team Smackdown. --------------------------------------------------------------
"While we are on the subject of Smackdown, last night from Smackdown, it was the Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison taking on former, that's right, I said former World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk
"Joining Todd Grisham at ringside was the Miz, because the Miz is facing Morrison at Bragging Rights, that match alone has classic written all over it.
"What a great match last night between Punk and Morrison. I have to say that I was very surprised that Morrison wasn't even distracted. Morrison and Punk have had a series of classic matches in the past. In fact, it was John Morrison who took the ECW Championship from Punk if my memory Serves Right.
"The Miz was looking on with a great deal of interest looking for the right time to strike, and he found it when he saw that Morrison was ready to deliver some Starship Pain to Punk, causing Morrison to lose by Disqualification.
"This will be addressed tonight on Smackdown, as it is the return of the Dirt Sheet, so I'm hoping that the Miz and Morrison go at it face to face. --------------------------------------------------------------
"From ECW, it was the Moscow Mauler, Vladimir Kozlov taking on ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer with an already injured arm.
"Kozlov was honing on the injured arm for most of the match, Dreamer on the other hand wasn't going to let that stop him, proving why he was and will always be the Heart and Soul of ECW, but at one point of the match last night, when the referee was tending to Kozlov, Ezekial Jackson attacked Dreamer, sending his injured arm to the post.
'That turned things around for Kozlov as he gets the win over Dreamer and after the match was over, Big Zeke himself gave Dreamer a thunderous Uranage slam adding insult to injury."
Thanks, Rob! I just got news as well that Trish Stratus is confirmed to be on Smackdown vs RAW 2010! BEST... DIVA... ROSTER... EVER! Have a good night, everyone!:D

"Before I go on with this week's ECW, I have some very sad news to report. WWE Hall of Famer, Captain Lou Albano passed away earlier this morning. Albano began his wrestling career in the WWE in the 60's, then known as the WWWF as one half of the Sicilians with Tony Altimore.
"He later became one of the most successful wrestling managers in all of professional wrestling, managing 16 Tag Team Champions that included:
The Wild Samoans The Valiant Brothers Mr.Fuji and Mr.Saito The US Express The British Bulldogs
"And managing singles wrestlers such as:
Greg ''The Hammer'' Valentine Don "Magnificent" Muraco Andre The Giant
"And many other legendary names, and not to mention all the appearances that he made in Cyndi Lauper's music video for "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", creating the Rock and Wrestling Connection.
"Albano will be missed by the WWE, and it's longtime fans. He passed away due to cancer. He was 76. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Onto last night's ECW:
"I'm sure that William Regal was still very unhappy after his controversial loss last week to Yoshi Tatsu. As was Zack Ryder, who wasn't very happy with Regal and his gang of thugs, costing him his match last week against ECW Champion, Christian.
"So last night on ECW, the main event was ECW Champion, Christian, teaming up with Tatsu vs. both Regal and Ryder. But before their match, there was a heated confrontation backstage between both Regal and Ryder, which led the whole WWE Universe, including myself wondering if they are going to work well together.
"I will say this, Christian and Tatsu gelled a hell of a lot better together than both Ryder and Regal. Christian and Ryder were the 2 legal men in the ring and Tatsu saw that Regal was going to interfere, but was stopped by both Tatsu and the referee.
"Regal then had himself tagged in the match, which really didn't sit right with Ryder at all. When Regal was pushed into Ryder by Christian, he was clotheslined on the top rope by Ryder, allowing Christian to nail Regal with the Killswitch to get the win.
"A member of Regal's Ruthless Roundtable saw action last night when Ezekial Jackson took on the bizarre Goldust.
"Goldust really took the fight to Big Zeke. Goldust was looking for ways to weaken this big monster, but even though he was looking to gain a lot of momentum, he missed a lot of openings during this match, and I think that is what cost him the match against Big Zeke.
"Before I go on with the next match, Sheamus claims that he is not done with the Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin. Well, I don't think that the Gold Standard is done with Sheamus. I know that the Gold Standard is going to look for retribution the next time he is in the ring with Sheamus.
"Paul Burchill is so hell-bent on proving that the Hurricane is really Gregory Helms, and what another great match in this rivalry that took place last night.
"The Hurricane in the past has had the upper hand in their matches, and even though Burchill really could never pull off a clean victory over the Hurricane, last night, the Ripper himself did manage to get some retribution with an impressive win. I actually thought that he was going to take the mask off, but I guess not yet."
Thanks, Rob! RIP Captain Lou Albano. You will be sorely missed by every longtime wrestling fanatic like myself. Have a turnbuckle tomorrow, everyone.
