2/18/09 ECW Dirt Sheet: Another "Swagger" Defeat

Wednesday, February 18, 2009, 07:27 PM EST [General]

Alrighty, now it's time for today's edition of the ECW Dirt Sheet:
"Just when it looked like the All American American Jack Swagger gained a lot of his Swagger, shall we say, when he successfully defended his ECW Championship last Sunday, things came to a quick halt last on ECW.

    "Here is what I mean:

"In the main event last night, the ECW Champion, Jack Swagger, and the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry teamed up to take on Finlay and Christian.

"This match turned into an all out brawl when Finlay's son, Hornswoggle  interfered in the match as the World's Strongest Man attempted to nail Christian with the World's Strongest Slam. This caused the referee to be distracted. As that was going on, Henry was bashed in the head by Finlay with his trusty shillelagh. After Swagger took out Finlay, he tried to Gutwrench Powerbomb Christian, but Christian countered, and it was enough for him to score the pinfall for his team.

"Next week on ECW, it will be the All American American, Jack Swagger defending the ECW Championship against Christian.

"I've come to this conclusion as far as the Christian/Jack Swagger match is concerned. I can see why the WWE is allowing him to go after the ECW Championship. Should Christian become the new ECW Champion, he will fill the void that Matt Hardy left when he left ECW to go to Smackdown.

"After all, Matt Hardy was the top dawg in the ECW brand. And I honestly feel that the WWE has found the perfect guy to fill that void in Christian. I can't wait for that match next week, and how it turns out should be an instant classic [LOL]"
My thoughts: Indeed it should. I too am gonna be rooting for Christian in next week's match against Jack Swagger. However, I don't know if Finlay will put his "friendship" with the Instant Classic aside to "interfere" in his match. We'll have to see what happens next week.

"The man from the Bottomless Pit was back in action last night on ECW, when the Boogeyman took on Paul Burchill. This match was the result of Burchill's Christian Bale like rant on WWE Mobile on AT&T. The Boogeyman has been undefeated in singles action, and the Boogeyman had Burchill had his mercy.

"Until he turned his back on Burchill reaching for his bag of worms, that's when Burchill rolled him up to get the win. Even though he lost the match, the Boogeyman still scared Paul's sister, Katie Lea away, taunting her with the bag of worms.

"How will the man from the Bottomless Pit avenge his loss? Will the Burchills continue to challenge this superstar? We shall see in the weeks to come."
My thoughts: I can bet you the man from the Bottomless pit will no doubt try to get Katie Lea wormed, even if Paul Burchill continues to beat the Boogeyman. I can't wait to see where this rivalry ends up.

"Tommy Dreamer is still trying to get revenge for being mocked by the World Tag Team Champions. He also was determined to prove that he still has what it takes, when he took on John Morrison.

"It looked like that Dreamer was going to win the match when Morrison's partner, the Miz was ejected from ringside, but the ECW Original was still defeated when Morrison nailed him with the Moonlight Drive.

"Later on that night, Ricky Ortiz went up to Dreamer, offering him one of his Ricky O. Rally Towels. Sure, Ricky, try to boost his confidence up by doing that. Ain't going to work, I'm afraid."
My thoughts: Definently not, at this point. Dreamer is sadly, going the way of MVP's losing streak, via Summerslam. I can sure as hell hope that Dreamer can win soon, I really do. Kudos though, to Ricky Ortiz for making a great cameo.

"In his second match on ECW, the latest being trained from the Hart Family Dungeon, Tyson Kidd, who was personally trained by WWE Hall of Famer, Bret Hart, took on Caden Matthews.

"Kidd displayed great wrestling skills against Matthews, including a hard-hitting leg drop off the ring apron. After that, he followed it up by propelling himself over the top rope, landing a Flying Elbow Drop, before getting his second win on ECW.

"I agree with Todd Grisham when he said that Tyson Kidd's kicks are harder than Mike Tyson's punches."
My thoughts: Tyson Kidd is no doubt the most incredible young athlete I've seen today from the Hart Dungeon. His kicks are no doubt one of the most athletic ones I've seen today. They may even match Kofi Kingston's, to be exact. And of course, like I said earlier, having Natalya around doesn't hurt his chances, either.
Alrighty, I'll see you all later for more!:D

2/17/09 RAW Dirt Sheet: The Rules of "the Game" Have Changed

Wednesday, February 18, 2009, 07:26 PM EST [General]

Indeed, the rules of the game have changed, but is it for the better? Let's let Rob and I tell you:
"No Way Out was in flux of the World Heavyweight Championship falling into the clutches of Smackdown's Edge. Randy Orton continues to make life a living hell for the McMahon family. Here is what I'm talking about.

"Shane McMahon was hellbent on getting revenge on Randy Orton for what he did to his Father, Vince McMahon. So Shane challenged Orton to an unsanctioned fight, with no referees, and no Legacy members. This fight was to continue until one man can't continue. Orton accepted the challenge.

"But Shane's Sister, Stephanie tried to talk Shane out of it, but Shane wouldn't listen. Just before the fight began, Stephanie McMahon was on her cell phone talking to somebody to come and try to talk some sense into Shane.

"The fight between Orton and McMahon got underway with the 2 trading blows in this fight that spilled over the barriers and into the audience.

"Shane had things in his favor when he was ready to nail Orton with the Coast-to-Coast, until Orton's Legacy co-horts, Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes attacked McMahon from behind, setting up McMahon for Orton to nail him with a Punt to the Temple, just like he did to Vince McMahon.

"Then, Stephanie McMahon came to tend to her Brother, trying to revive him. But that didn't work, as Randy Orton nailed her with an RKO that was so vicious, that the WWE Champion, Triple H rushed to the ring, and cleared the ring of the Legacy members.

"This rivalry is about to get hotter, and I think that look on the Game's face tells the story. You see, I'm sure that a lot of you are aware that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are in real life, husband and wife. And Edge being the new World Heavyweight Champion, there is a good chance that Triple H may be coming back to where he rightfully belongs in my opinion, on Monday Night Raw.

"With the 2009 Draft taking place on April 13th, that alone right there could very well be just a little preview as to who is going where."
My thoughts: Indeed so. You know, I originally was gonna rant my brains out as to what Orton did to Stephanie, but I realize now, that this is a great storyline that will no doubt lead us to one hell of a Wrestlemania main event between the two. The new, evil Orton and Triple H in a Wrestlemania main event will no doubt be one of Wrestlemania's most incredible matches to date.

"Speaking of Edge, he and the Smackdown General Manager made a guest appearance on Raw last night just to brag about how he became the new World Heavyweight Champion, when Ms.Guererro talked about why Edge was in the Raw Elimination Chamber match.

"While Edge was bragging more about his newly won Championship, he was interrupted by John Cena, who was telling Edge about his plans to win back the World Heavyweight Championship.  When Edge tried walking away, Cena turned Edge around, looked him straight in the eye, and said, and I quote, 'You try to hide, I will find you. You try to run, I will catch you. We are going to fight, and I will hurt you.'

"Cena should wait a little bit to get his Championship match, because I really feel that Rey Mysterio should get a crack at Edge's World Heavyweight Championship, because if you look back on this year's Royal Rumble, Mysterio's time in the Rumble was 49:24, and the valiant effort he gave in the Raw Elimination Chamber match this past Sunday at No Way Out when it came down between he and Edge, Mysterio deserves a Championship match."
My thoughts: That's a pretty good opinion, Rob. No doubt, Rey Mysterio and Edge have had an awesome rivalry in the past, and they definently would have had one hell of a Wrestlemania match if the two decide.

"Speaking of Rey Mysterio, he saw action last night against Mike Knox. Despite a brutal Elimination Chamber match, Mysterio nails Knox with the 619, and tries to finish him off, but misses, then tries again on the other side of the ring, and was caught by Knox. Knox had Mysterio right where he wants him, and was ready to finish him off, but misses, and Mysterio rolls him up and gets the win.

The way Mysterio handled himself against Knox is another reason why Mysterio deserves a Championship match."
My thoughts: Normally, I'd say something, but I think I already covered why Mysterio deserves a Championship match at Wrestlemania. Moving on....

"In a 6 man Tag match, Orton's Legacy co-horts, Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes and former Intercontiental Champion William Regal took on the current Intercontinental Champion, CM Punk and Cryme Tyme. Punk showed some impressive hard fought moments, especially against Regal.

"Towards the end of the match, JTG went for the cover on Dibiase, but saw that Cody Rhodes was about to make the save. Then, Shad came in, and he and Regal battled outside the ring. Then Dibiase nails JTG with a move he calls the Dream Street, and gets the win.

"Here's a little something for you, Ted Dibiase's younger Brother, Brett, is currently wrestling in the FCW (Florida Championship Wrestling) which is the WWE's territorial development. And there has been a great deal of discussion  behind the scenes about bringing Brett to Raw.

"The question is, is Brett Dibiase going to be a part of the Legacy, or is Ted Dibiase going to turn babyface and help his Brother? This is something you might want to be on the look out for."
My thoughts: I will most certainly be on the look out for Brett Dibiase if he does show up on RAW. Another suggestion maybe is Brett teaming up with Manu and Sim Snuka, who aren't on RAW that much anymore and try to take out Orton's Legacy, but then again, it's just my matter of opinion.

"Shawn Micheals regained the trust of the WWE Universe when he beat John ''Bradshaw'' Layfield at No Way Out, but last night on Raw, JBL made a declaration to the WWE Universe that he plans on ending the Wrestlemania winning streak of the Undertaker.

"However, the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Micheals came out and made a proposal to JBL, that next week on Raw, the 2 will face each other once again, and the winner to face the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

"Shawn Micheals will without a doubt win that match. And I also heard that a match between the Undertaker and Shawn Micheals at Wrestlemania 25 has been discussed for a long time, and I honestly believe that Shawn Micheals is capable of ending the Underatker's Wrestlemainia winning streak. After all, let's look back at what Shawn Micheals has done in past Wrestlemanias:

WRESTLEMANIA 10: Revolutionizing the Ladder match
WRESTLEMANIA 12- Coming down from the rafters and wrestling for an hour to become the WWE Champion.
WRESTLEMANIA 24- Ending one of the greatest wrestling careers in all of professional wrestling in Ric Flair.

"And how can we not forget, at an In Your House Pay-Per-View in October of 1997, when Shawn Micheals beat the Undertaker in the very first Hell in a Cell match.

"If there is one man that is capable of ending the Wrestlemania winning streak, it's Shawn Micheals."
My thoughts: No doubt about it, HBK may be Undertaker's toughest Wrestlemania opponent to date. After all the things Taker and Michaels have been through in the past, this will definently be Undertaker's toughest task to date, and you know what? I think it just might trump Michaels vs. Flair.

"Chris Jericho once again came out and was talking trash about Mickey Rourke and his movie, The Wrestler, and was once again talking trash about various WWE Legends. This time, it got the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper. Piper tried himself to talk some sense to Jericho, and tells him he's going to keep giving the WWE Universe what they want.

"However for the Rowdy One, after following it up with an attack on Jericho, Jericho turned it around and attacked the WWE Hall of Famer, dropping the Wrestlemania legend before exiting the ring.

"Heads up-- there is a good chance hat Stone Cold Steve Austin could very well make an appearance next week on Raw to confront Jericho as well."
My thoughts: Stone Cold Steve Austin coming to RAW next week?! Wow! I think the Texas Rattlesnake, and 2009 WWE Hall of Famer will no doubt talk, or maybe beat some sense into Y2Jerk himself.

"Then, in a match for the WWE Women's Championship, the Champion, Melina was to defend against former Champion, Beth Phoenix, the Glamazon.

"The Glamazon had with her at ringside, her so-called boytoy, Santino Marella, and her intern, and her crazy number 1 fan, Rosa Mendes.

"In order to prevent any outside interference, Mickie James, Kelly Kelly and Candice Michelle came down and triple teamed Santino, and also did a number on Mendes, as this caused a distraction from the Glamazon. This allowed Melina to roll up the Glamazon and get the win, and successfully retaining her Championship."
My thoughts: I thought Mickie, Kelly, and Candice did a good job of making sure Santino and Rosa didn't interfere in Melina's match. Melina turned out to be the better wrestler in this one, despite the Glamazon's attempts to dominate most of the match.

"One more thing I want to recommend, the Best of Saturday Night's Main Event DVD set. This 3 disk DVD set includes some of the most memorable matches, including:

Hulk Hogan vs Cowboy Bob Orton

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Paul ''Mr.Wonderful'' Orndorff

2/16/09 WWE No Way Out Recap

Monday, February 16, 2009, 07:51 PM EST [General]

Let me tell you, last night's PPV was no doubt the best No Way Out I've seen in some time, and let me tell you, the Elimination Chamber matches that night may be match of the year candidates in my opinion. For more, let's hear what Rob has to say:

"The Road to Wrestlemania made a pitstop through the Eliminaton Chamber last night at No Way Out. With both the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship on the line in a match that is just as unforgiving as being in the Hell in a Cell, a showstopper who was laying it all on the line, a son fighting for his father's honor, and an american regaining his 'Swagger'. Here is how it all went down.

"First, it was the very first Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship.

"First to enter was the Undertaker, followed by the Big Show, Vladimir Kozlov, Triple H, Jeff Hardy, and the Rated R Superstar, Edge.

"Edge and Hardy were the first men to start the match, and much to the surprise of the WWE Universe, Edge was the first man to be eliminated, in less than 5 minutes by Hardy, and with Edge gone, there was going to be a new WWE Champion.

"The Moscow Mauler was next to enter, followed by the Big Show, Triple H, and the Undertaker.

"It was an all out war of Smackdown's big men, and much to the surprise of myself, Kozlov ended up being eliminated by the Deadman, because if you remember what I said in my last Smackdown blog, it was going to come down between Triple H and Kozlov with the Game's experience, and Kozlov's brutality.

"Triple H took out the Big Show when Jeff Hardy nailed him with a Swanton Bomb off the top of that box where they were standing in while waiting to enter the chamber match.

"Hardy, however was the next to be eliminated by the Undertaker, thanks to the hard-hitting Tombstone Piledriver.

"Then, it was down to the Undertaker and Triple H in a hard-fought battle between both men for the gold, and in the end, the Game nails the Undertaker with the Pedigree to become the WWE Champion for the 13th time.

"Even though the final 2 wasn't what I really predicted, experience did prevail and remember last Friday night on Smackdown when the Game said he was looking forward to the Elimination Chamber? Well, watch his post match interview on WWE.com, and listen to what he has to say about it now."
My thoughts: I did, and no doubt about it, it was an awesome way to start off the night. I was surprised though, that that Elimination Chamber match was the opening match, not the main event, but still, I'm just glad that Edge was not WWE Champion walking out of the Chamber, but then again, last night was full of surprises, and we had a lot more on the way.

"Vince McMahon's son, Shane McMahon was looking for revenge for what happened to his Dad in a No-Holds Barred match against Randy Orton.

"At one point in the match, Shane took a monitor from one of the announce tables and nailed Orton with it, which busted him wide open, then laid him across the table and was ready to finish him off, until Orton's Legacy cohorts Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes attacked Shane. Shane fought back as Orton was laying upon the announce table. After McMahon disposed of Dibiase, he placed a garbage can up against Cody Rhodes, and nails him with the Coast to Coast.

"After that, he finally went to finish off Orton by sending him through the announce table, and misses.

"Shane McMahon gave his best effort against Orton, and just when McMahon was going to give Orton a dose of his own medicine when he was measuring Orton up for a Punt to the Temple, after he was repeatedly nailing him with a steel chair, Orton out of nowhere nails McMahon with the RKO to get the win.

"Orton may have won the battle, but in my opinion, he lost the war, and not only that, after Orton was busted open by Shane McMahon, I honestly thought that Shane had the match in the bag."
My thoughts: You know, this match was no doubt brutal, and it brought out the classic Shane McMahon we were used to. Shame that Orton sneaked up from behind to win, but I guess the Legend Killer had to be humbled by the son of the Billion-Dollar Chairman.

"For the ECW Championship, the champion, Jack Swagger, was to defend against Finlay, who handed Swagger his very first loss a couple of weeks ago on ECW.

"This match did without a shadow of doubt prove to be a hard-fought battle between both men. Finlay was fighting back, showing incredible intestinal fortitude with fierce guts against the wrestling prodigy.

"But in the end, Swagger sent Finlay into the ropes, knocking his son Hornswoggle off the ring apron onto the floor, then gets nailed with the Gutwrench Powerbomb to get the win and retaining the ECW Championship.

"That means Christian is going to be challenging Swagger for that title at a future date, and here's a message for both Tommie and Jake. I was just as happy as the both of you about Christian coming back to the WWE as part of ECW. But why is the WWE allowing him to go for a major Championship like the ECW Championship already? I'm afraid that this is being done way too soon. But like they say, anything can happen in the WWE.We shall wait and see how this one evolves."
My thoughts: Well, now that you said it, I too am surprised that Captain Charisma is getting a title shot early on in his comeback. I would at least have him wait for another month, but like you said, Rob, anything can happen in the WWE, and it would be good to see Christian as ECW Champion, but we'll see what happens with this storyline.

"Shawn Micheals was putting everything on the line, and I do mean everything on the line against the man who hired him to get him to Wrestlemania as World Champion in John Bradshaw Layfield. If HBK was to win, he was done with JBL.

"But if JBL was to win, HBK would continue working for JBL for the rest of his life.
Micheals' wife Rebecca was at ringside. These two were fighting tooth and nail with HBK giving everything that he had in the hopes of beating the Self-Made Millionaire.

"At one point, JBL had Micheals outside the ring in front of his wife. As JBL went after him and had something to say to her, Rebecca gave him a shot in the face. HBK tosses him back in the ring, and nails him with some Sweet Chin Music to get the win, and freedom off JBL."
My thoughts: Thank goodness that HBK is no longer working for JBL. After seeing the hell Michaels had to put up with working for JBL, this was no doubt one of his most brutal matches to date, and it just showed that HBK has perhaps one of the biggest hearts in WWE history.

"Then, it was the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match, as John Cena was up against Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Mike Knox, Kane, and Kofi Kingston, who was jumped from behind by Edge, who lost his WWE Championship earlier in the night.

"Jericho and Mysterio started the match, then after that, Mysterio eliminated Kane, then Jericho eliminated another chamber participant in Mike Knox, then Edge entered, but was attacked by Mysterio for what he did to Kingston. Cena was the last man to enter, but was locked up by Edge to get the pin.

"So that meant a new World Heavyweight Champion was going to be crowned.

"A valiant effort was being given by Mysterio as it became abruptly eclipsed, as Mysterio and the Rated R Superstar engaged in a hard-fought battle for the gold. In the end, the Master of the 619 was Speared by Edge to get the pin, and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

"On WWE.com there is a question asking if Edge has the right to claim the Gold that he just won.

"I say no, because he is on Smackdown. I wonder if this means he's going to Raw."
My thoughts: I sure as hell hope not, because it's bad enough we get to see him on Smackdown every Friday night, that and seeing Vickie Guerrero as well. If we see Vickie on Monday nights now, I wonder if Smackdown is gonna get a new G.M because of this? Only time will tell, friends.

Hope you enjoyed this neat little recap of No Way Out, and me and Rob will be back tomorrow with the RAW after No Way Out Dirt Sheet!:D

Alright, explanation time. Why T-Pain and Chris Brown's "Freeze" is not on the countdown this week? We all know what happened after the Grammys with Mr. Brown himself doing something to Rihanna, that was well, let's just say, it classifies him to be the "Michael Jackson" of the 2000s, and not in a good way. So with Danity Kane's "Bad Girl", this is going into the retirement home, without a chance to be at number one. Nothing against T-Pain, but since other radio stations are banning Chris Brown because of that act, I figured I'd just go along with it. Anywho, congrats to the All American Rejects for having the number one spot with "Gives You Hell". This has definently become one of my favorite songs on the radio, and it is catchy as hell, to say the least.

Hope you all enjoy the countdown, and I'll be back with more later!:D

    Valentine's Day 2009 Dirt Sheet

Saturday, February 14, 2009, 05:59 PM EST [General]

Hope you all are having a great Valentine's Day! I love days like this, because I get to spread a lot of love to a lot of my favorite ladies. Now, here's another way I like to spread love: through a blog. Here is today's Smackdown Dirt Sheet!

"With No Way Out only a little over 24 hours away, 4 of the participants in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match battled in a fatal 4 way, and another made a historic comeback, but in the midst of it all, the WWE Champion found another way to come out and steal the thunder.

At the start of last night's Smackdown, the WWE Universe was disgraced by the appearance of the WWE Champion, Edge, and his dog face wife, Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guererro.

The Rated R Superstar was blaming his so-called neck injury that he claims to have sustained last week at the hands of, first, his Tag Team partner, the Big Show, when he gave him the Knock Out Punch, followed by the Tombstone he got from the Undertaker.

The Smackdown General Manager wasted no time in announcing that she  wasn't going to allow her husband to compete. However, after the Big Show interrupted them, and had an exchange of harsh words with the champion, Guererro put him in a Fatal 4 Way match with the Undertaker, Triple H, and the undefeated Vladmir Kozlov.

In the climax of the grueling back and forth contest with each man putting their finishing move on another, it was declared a no contest when Edge dove into the ring, and speared the World's Largest Athlete.

I will say this as far as the WWE Elimination Chamber match is concerned-- With Kozlov never being in a Chamber match before, and with the Undertaker, Big Show and Edge, each being in one chamber match, and I don't remember ever seeing Jeff Hardy in an Elimination Chamber match before, and with Triple H being in 6 Elimination Chamber matches before, this could come down to experience against brutality, with the final 2 being Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov. The Game with experience, and Kozlov with brutality."
My thoughts: Those are definently some pretty good predictions. The Game and the Moscow Mauler would definently be two pretty good picks to the end, and you know what, I would be so surprised if the Moscow Mauler can be able to keep his winning streak intact walking out of the Chamber this Sunday.

"Speaking of Jeff Hardy, he made his return last night on Smackdown since being betrayed by his brother. Even though he addressed the WWE Universe as to what happened to him in recent weeks, he plans to look forward, and is 100% focused, and is looking forward to this Sunday at No Way Out.

Based on what Matt was saying 2 weeks ago, and based on what Jeff was saying last night, could the WWE be building this brotherly feud to be a more emotional one than the Bret Hart/Owen Hart feud back in 1994? Less emotional, or just as emotional, we would have to see in the weeks ahead."
My thoughts: One thing's for sure, if we do see a Hardy vs. Hardy feud, I definently think we could be in for another instant classic of a match. My prediction is possibly a brother vs. brother match at Wrestlemania 25, that may definently trump the Bret/Owen Hart match at Wrestlemania 10.

To prove why that I'm not all that crazy about Valentine's Day this year, the oh-so beautiful Bella Twins received flowers for Valentine's Day, but not from Carilto and Primo, but from the Miz and John Morrison. This prompted another match between these 2 Tag Team Champions, in which the winner gets to take out the Bella Twins on Valentine's Day.

With the referee distracted, Miz threw Primo from the top rope, allowing Morrison to nail Primo with the Moonlight Drive to get the win, and the date with the Bella Twins.

We have seen this in the WWE over the years, with a Diva reluctantly going out with someone that they are not all that crazy about, and next thing you know, they end up a couple. That gets old real fast.

Quick heads up while we are talking about Tag Teams, the WWE this fall is releasing a DVD on the Greatest Tag Teams of All Time. Don't be surprised to see these Tag Teams on the DVD:

    The Miz and John Morrison
Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Sheik
Greg ''the Hammer''  Valentine and Brutus Beefacke
    Demolition
    The Killer Bees
    Mike Rotundo and Barry Windham
    Degeneration X
    New Age Outlaws
    The Wild Samoans
    The Rockers
    Legion of Doom
    Strike Force
    The Hart Foundation
    The Nasty Boys
    The British Bulldogs

And so many others- I read about this on Wrestling-Radio.com."
My thoughts: Ah, good old Wrestlingradio.com to catch up on the stories. For the Bella Twins, I just hope they stick with the Colons, because you know, I think seeing the Bella Twins as heels would be quite unsettling for me, but then again, that's just me.

"Vickie Guererro's gopher'd nephew, Chavo Guererro, saw action against MVP, who was out for some payback when Chavo eliminated him in last week's Battle Royal. The Franchise Playa was on verge of getting a pinfall over the former ECW Champion, until the United States Champion, Shelton Benjamin came from nowhere and nailed MVP with some Paydirt, getting revenge after losing to MVP in a non-title match last week, giving MVP the win by disqualification.

To add insult to injury, Chavo Guererro nails MVP with his Frog Splash raising his own arms in victory."
My thoughts: I knew that the MVP/Shelton Benjamin feud would last into No Way Out. It seems as though after No Way Out, a United States title match between MVP and the Gold Standard could be in the cards. If not, this feud carries into the 5th annual Money in the Bank ladder match.

"R-Truth saw action last night against the stooge in my opinion of the Brian Kendrick, Ezekiel Jackson, who really gave him the onslaught during most of the match, but in the end, R-Truth ended Jackson's undefeated streak, when Jackson went for a move he calls the Ura-nage, and R-Truth reversed it to get the win."
My thoughts: I guess R-Truth showed big Zeke what's up, huh? Maybe next time, the Brian Kendrick will think twice before Kendrick sics Zeke on anyone like that again. I know I may have said it before, but I just like to tell it like it is.

I wanted to save the best for last, as former WWE Divas Champion, Michelle McCool took on Maria, who was out for payback, but McCool had every intention of continuing her vicious wrath upon Smackdown Divas, as she was going to work on Maria's ankle that she injured during the match.

However, after her first loss last week to McCool, Eve Torres charged down to the ring to help Maria in every which way possible. The former WWE Divas Champion all of a sudden started bullying her, but Eve wasn't going to back down. However, this created a distraction when Eve was thrown into the ring by McCool.

This allowed Maria to roll up the former WWE Divas Champion for the 3 count.

Maria may have this battle, but this war is far from being over, I have a feeling."
My thoughts: Michelle McCool and Maria just may have one of the most incredible rivalries of 2009. I say that the Glamazon and Melina's rivalry may just be second best to Maria and McCool, because of the history between these two, as to them being friends.

Well, this edition of the Dirt Sheet is wrapped up, but I'll be back early tomorrow with the Top 50 Countdown!:D
