"I can't tell you how happy I was to see Tiffany back in action last night as the General Manager of ECW. I mean, there was no way that the board of directors were going to allow William Regal to continue being a farce of a general manager the way he was with Raw.
"At the start of last night's ECW, new ring announcer Lauren Mayhew introduced Regal, still as the interim General Manager. Then he began talking about how he was going to make himself the number 1 contender for the ECW Championship, but a very unhappy Zack Ryder came out and told Regal that the whole WWE Universe was not going to go through with this again. As Ryder and Regal were having an exchange of words, here comes the ECW Champion to save the day. He was referring to the Ryder/Regal feud as compelling TV, but I knew exactly what he was thinking, it damn sure as hell wasn't.
"He brought out 3 people whom he felt is worthy of being the number 1 contender. 1st, the janitor from the arena that has been cleaning the toilets at the arena, WWE Hall of Famer, Tony Atlas, co-host of the Abraham Washington show, and how about Yoshi Tatsu, whom as we all know has been making quite an impact on ECW.
"Christian also reminded Regal that it was not up to him or Christian himself for that matter, who the number 1 contender is. Tiffany did come back after being injured during her match against Mia Mancini on FCW, that is how she really got hurt-- no car accident.
"1st, she granted Zack Ryder his rematch with Christian that was supposed to take place last week.
"She put Regal in action against Yoshi Tatsu, and not only that, she put Ezekial Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov in Tag Team action.
"So what Tiffany really did was put last week's 8 Man Tag in 3 different matches. First, Jackson and Kozlov took on Tommy Dreamer and Goldust.
"I'll be perfectly honest with you, it was about time that we got to see Jackson and Kozlov in real competition, and not against a couple of jobbers.
"The experience of both Dreamer and Goldust is what really helped them put up a great fight against the power, the size and the awesome strength that both Jackson and Kozlov possesses in the ring, and that is what played a key factor in the Ruthless Roundtable's victory over Dreamer and Goldust last night.
"Then Regal had his match against Yoshi Tatsu last night. Let me say that based on the crowd's reaction the whole WWE Universe could care less about Regal and to be honest with you, so could I, but when the crowd started to come alive was when Tatsu turned things around in his favor. Tatsu went for a Ricky Steamboat like high cross body and misses, then Tatsu nailed Regal with his hard-hitting Karate kick to the temple and gets the win. However, the referee didn't see Regal's foot underneath the ropes, and as we all know, the referee's decision is final.
'Regal and his Ruthless Roundtable were at ringside to watch Christian take on Zack Ryder.
"I'm going to be perfectly honest with you and say that that match alone made up for what Regal was doing in the last match, but unfortunately for both Christian and Ryder, it didn't end the way that either one wanted them to end.
"As Christian was tossed outside the ring, he was attacked by Kozlov and Jackson, making Christian the winner by disqualification.
"As Christian was left laying in the ring, a very angry Ryder confronted Regal for costing him his match against Christian, and he was attacked for his troubles.
"So the only bad match from last night's ECW was involving William Regal. Need I say more?"
Indeed not, buddy. Also, I just heard the news with Rowdy Roddy Piper's terminal cancer. I along with every member of the WWE Universe wish Piper the best of luck in his recovery. Have a turnbuckle tomorrow, everyone!:D
