"What a Bash it was last night in Scramento. Anything and everything that could possibly happen did happen. Here is how it all went down.
"Dolph Ziggler went up against the Great Khal. You may remember this started a few weeks ago on Smackdown when Ziggler made an open challenge and Khali accepted, which made Ziggler think twice about accepting.
"With this match being on PPV, it looked to be the most important match of Ziggler's Career against the Punjabi Playboy. One would think that in the past with the way that Ziggler has won matches over Khali, that he would have a trick up his sleeve, and as big is Khali was, you would have to do so.
"Last night it looked like that Ziggler had bitten off a little bit more than he could chew. That's until the Big Red Monster Kane made a surprise return and climbed in the ring with a steel chair and attacked the Punjabi Playboy. This allowed Ziggler to pull off one of the biggest upsets ever.
"This victory Ziggler got is going to give Ziggler a huge jump in the rankings towards a major championship."
My thoughts: I say so myself, because any time you can get a pinfall win over a big 7'3 monster like Khali, you know you've got big things coming your way.
"At last year's Bash, Michelle McCool became the very first Divas Champion, and last night at the Bash, this hot piece of ass became the very first Diva to win not only the Divas Championship, but the WWE Women's Championship as well when she Beat Melina for the Women's Championship.
"Throughout the match, McCool targeted Melina's left leg as well as battering her limb. I'll be perfectly honest with you, this heel turn that McCool made sometime ago has really been a big help to McCool and I think that her in-ring skills show that and I hope that Alicia Fox has learned a lot from McCool so far, because it takes a great deal of passion and dedication to make it to the top.
"Great move on the WWE's part with Michelle McCool. I'm really pleased at what they have done with that."
My thoughts: Definently. It seems as though Michelle beat Mickie James to the punch to become the first-ever Double Crown Women's Champion. I wonder if Mickie's next to capture the double crown? Better late than never, I always say.
"Tommy Dreamer, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, Christian and Finlay competed in the ECW Championship Scramble match.
"The match started with Swagger and Christain, then Finlay, followed by Dreamer and Mark Henry.
'This match truly lived up to it's name as the 20 minutes was ticking away. Swagger was the first man to score a pinfall over Finlay. The 20 minute mark was near the end and Dreamer was still ECW Champion. As the end was getting closer, each man was trying so hard to get a pinfall, but when the dust finally settled, Dreamer was still the ECW Champion, making him the official winner of the match."
My thoughts: It seems as though Dreamer is silencing all the critics, and bringing his own lenghty reign as ECW Champion to the fold. Who's next for the Innovator of Violence?
"It gives me great pleasure to annouce that John Cena has finally shut the Miz up after weeks of bragging about how he beat Cena but without wrestling him.
"Ever since the Miz was drafted to Raw, well, let's just say that the Miz will do anything to get to the top, even if it meant bragging about victories that never really happened.
"Cena had a no-nonsense attitude going into this last night. Even though the Miz had control of the match on Cena, the Miz was in dire straits once Cena regained Control. In the end, the Miz was nailed with a hard-hitting Attitude Adjustment followed by a STFU for not only the win, but a whole lot of satisfaction to get the win.
"He is John Cena and he.......is............awesome!!!!!!!!!!!"
My thoughts: Awesome is the right word for it. I guess this means Miz has just struck out with Maryse-- LOL
"Everything was at risk last night when Chris Jericho put up his Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio, who if he lost the match last night, he would have to take off his mask.
"This match last night stole the show for me like their match that they had at Extreme Rules. Let's be real here, any one on one match with Mysterio will steal the show for anybody. Last night, let's just say that Mysterio was staring adversity in the face, with everything that Jericho has done to him in the past, saying that Mysterio hides behind a mask.
"Mysterio showed Jericho how much the mask meant as he walked out the Intercontinental Champion and with his Mask still on."
My thoughts: How about it when Rey had a mask underneath a mask to fool Jericho? Definently clever mind games right there.
"But Jericho wasn't done at all. You see, with his job on the line, Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long made the Unified Tag Team Championship match a Triple Threat, as Jericho teamed up with Edge to take on Ted Dibiase and Cody Rhodes as well as Carlito and Primo.
"Before the match, Edge barged into Long's office, reminding him of what Vince McMahon did to him this past Friday night on Smackdown when he put him on probation. After that, Long was arguing with Edge saying that he should have thought about his future before divorcing Vickie Guerrero.
"However, Long's voice softened when McMahon entered the room and Long made the match a Triple Threat match. After letting their egos get the best of them with each other on past Smackdowns, Jericho and Edge managed to put whatever differences they may have had aside and work together as a team to become the new Unified WWE Tag Team Champions.
"If my memory serves me right, I think that is what John Morrison and The Miz were like before they became a Tag Team."
My thoughts: Same here. I just hope Edge and Jericho don't be like Miz and Morrison and try to do a Dirt Sheet show like them.
"At Extreme Rules, Jeff Hardy tasted the gold once again when he became the new World Heavyweight Champion, beating Edge in the ladder match, only to have his dreams crushed by CM Punk which didn't sit very well with the WWE Universe.
"Hardy thought that he had the match won until the referee saw that Punk's foot was under the bottom rope which sent Hardy beyond frustration.
"After the match was restarted, Punk had himself DQ'd when he kicked the referee. Hardy was livid as he attacked Punk, sending him outside in which Hardy continued the assault, and this took 3 referees to get Hardy off of him."
My thoughts: Hardy robbed again? No! CM Punk once again cheats to win, and not in a good way. When's my boy gonna stop gettin' robbed over here?
'Then in the night's Main Event, a 3 Stages Of Hell match in which Randy Orton was to defend the WWE Championship against Triple H.
"The first fall was a regular wrestling match in which Triple H won by a disqualification, thanks to outside interference by Orton's goons, Rhodes and Dibiase.
"The second fall was a Falls Count Anywhere Match in which the Game wasted no time in putting Orton away with the Pedigree outside the ring after going to work on him with steel chairs.
"You can tell that Triple H was living ny one saying, and that saying was 'vengeance is mine', after all the grief that Orton caused for him and his family.
"The final fall was a Stretcher match. Triple H had Orton laid out once again setting him on the stretcher. Just when he had Orton already across the line, he was attacked once again by Rhodes and Dibiase,
"However, momentum switched in the Game's favor once again when he got the sledgehammer. and took out Rhodes and Dibiase, but the viper attacked Triple H with a steel grate, allowing Orton to wheel the Game across the finish line, making Orton the winner and retaining the WWE Championship."
My thoughts: Let's not forget the end in which the Game waylaid Orton with the Sledgehammer afterwards. I bet Orton's gonna feel that one in the morning. So will Triple H, especially after that brutal match.
New VGV video coming up soon!:D
