The first video is a Memorial/Tribute I made of Rosie. She passed away on March 22, 2008 just shy of 13 years old. She was truly a ray of light to our lives; a gift from God. My family still misses her so very much. To see how special she was watch the vid below. The second one is a clip of her playing in the snow. Her last snowfall. She had been ill and then perked up when the snow came. I thought she was getting better, but unfortunately two weeks later, we had to put her down. =[ RIP baby girl.
After watching TNA on Thursday night...I've come to admit that...Kevin Nash really IS hot!
*Smacks forehead*
I never thought I'd say that! I have always disliked those guys that just know they're hot, and don't mind admitting it publicly & gloating about it. But he really is. And he's gotten better with age. There's something about a guy that can wear long silver hair really well. And he does. *Smacks forehead again*
Well, guess I'll be thinking up a new fan-fic now! LOL!
Just a quick blog about my full body scan coming up in December. As those of you who've read my About Me & know about my health issues, I have to have a full body scan every six months to a year to make sure my Thyroid cancer is still gone. My full agenda begins on November 11. I have to go completely off of my Synthroid (thyroid meds) for three weeks (not looking forward to that at all, b/c it exhausts me) and then I go on December 2nd to take a very low dosage of radioactive iodine. It goes through my entire body for 2 days, and basically eluminates any thryoid tissue or activity and then I have to go back on December 4th and have the scan done. It usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes. The past two times I've had to go back the very next day & do the scan again b/c they picked up a higher amount of activity than they consider safe. In October of 2007 they actually found where the cancer had come back & I had to have a much stronger dose of radioactive iodine. I had to stay quarantined in a hospital room for 3 days. Luckily, I wasn't sick from it or anything, it just wasn't safe for other people if I was around them. Nurses brough my food & everything but they'd not stay longer than like 30 seconds. I went NUTS, lol. It's rough being cut off from civilization, lol. Then back in May of 2008 I had to go back for another scan but the activity was apparently a fluke, so I didn't have to do another treatment. On Dec. 19 I have to go for an appointment with my oncologist to go over the scan results & determine what needs to be done should the activity be too high again. Anyway, I always get jittery about a month before the scan. So, if you guys would say a prayer for me, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks & *HUGS*
Obama is already double-talking about how he promised that anyone making less than $250,000 dollars a year wouldn't have to worry about their taxes going up ONE CENT. He's also picked an extremely liberal chief of staff. Only three days in office. *shakes head* I mean yeah, all politicians lie some, but mark my words...this is only the beginning. If he's already breaking promises & his election was like 3 days ago, this oughtta tell you how it's gonna go.
*I post this from time to time as I add new friends so that they will know.*
I posted a blog like this at my other account, and I feel the need
to post another one like it. I'm going to try to make it shorter
though, lol. I will be blunt in this post, but I'm not meaning to be
rude nor to come across as rude.
I probably will not answer msgs that consist mainly of "Whassup?"
Or, "What's goin on?" or even, "Wanna chat?" Mainly because if I
answered everyone who sent me one of these msgs, I would be spending
nearly all day, repeating myself. And I don't have that kind of time,
nor do I have time to sit at my computer & chat for a while. I
always have stuff to do whether it be cleaning house, taking care of
pets, or running errands. A comment is different, I try to answer those
the best I can. I believe if someone leaves me a comment, it is only
curteous to return the favor. =] If you truly are interested in how
my day has gone, the best thing to do is to read my blogs here. If I
don't blog everyday, then just take it that I've had a repetitive, or
uneventful day, lol. Now don't get me wrong, if you are someone I've
emailed some, and we've had meaningful conversations (meaning, that
wrestling isn't the ONLY thing we've msged about), then I try to make
time every now & then to email some so we can keep up with each
other. I of course can't do this all the time, but I do my best.
