Thought I'd take a minute to post a pic/banner I made for Thanksgiving. It's currently my desktop as well, lol. It's a picture of my beloved cocker spaniel who passed on a few months ago, Rosie. I added some text to make the pic into a humorous banner. It's the way I'd like to remember her. She lived for the holiday season. She seemed to know exactly when it was time for Turkey day & Christmas too. I actually made this last year before she was gone, but seemed to have lost it on my computer somewhere, but re-created it just now.
I know that pics get resized in these blogs if they're pretty big, but hopefully it's big enough that the text can be read. I thought it was quite fitting considering the picture, lol.
It's late, had a busy day, I'm tired, lol, but wanted to post a quick blog. Because I finally got my digi camera to work today and got some pics of the dog me and Mom rescued a couple days ago. We discovered upon taking him to a groomer, that he is a full blooded Wire-haired Fox Terrier. I wish I had taken a "before" pic of him. You wouldn't believe it. He was matted beyond belief. So much that the heavy rain we were having at the time, could not penetrate his hair. Whoever, let this poor little guy get in this shape ought to have a serious beat down. Grrrr! It made me SO beyond pissed off! If you don't want to care for a pet, don't get one!!
Anyway, we got him to a groomer, and they tied a cute red bandana on him, and spritzed him with doggy cologne. It was TOO cute! Me and mom decided to name him Joey. It just seems to fit him. Anyway, here's our newest member of the family!
And in a sillyish update, I registered with elfyourself.com. My advice, go do it folks, LOL! It's HILARIOUS. It takes a while to load, but totally worth it. I'll post the link to mine tomorrow. I'd do it now, but I've signed out, and like I said it takes a while to load.
Well, gonna go enjoy a hot shower (it's freezing where I'm at), and watch "Vacancy"...or maybe last night's TNA & drool over Kevin Nash again. Hahaha. =P
I've had one heckuva day actually, lol. First, there was a stray dog running around and nearly got hit by a car right in front of me & my mom, so I go got the little guy and we decided to take him to the groomers. He was HORRIBLY matted up with burrs. His hair was so thickly matted that a bath would have been pointless. So we get him to the groomers and we go pick him up like 3 or 4 hours later (yeah he was that bad off), and he looked like a COMPLETELY different dog, lol. He looks to be a full-blooded wire-haired terrier. He's a sweetie too. Just gotta think of a good name for him now. I'll try to post some pics of him tomorrow. He's my newest baby! =] Of course Sheba is pretty depressed about it, lol. She loves being the only dog.
And then secondly, our washer is leaking, so till we get it fixed I've been doing laundry by hand. Ugh...SO tired. However, we noticed that it is leaking from one of the hoses. So, we decided that we're going to try and use a garden hose (the faucet & hose are right outside our kitchen door where the washer & dryer is) to fill the tub of the washer & let it run that way. Hopefully it will work. Ringing close out by hand is soo exhausting. It is definitely humbling to think how the pilgrims and people in the old days had to do this every day. I don't see how they did it! Along with milking cows and all the other stuff they had to do. I'd die I think, lol. Thank God for technology!
Anyway, that's why I've not been on hardly at all today. I'll probably post this both as a shout out & as a blog. Will try to be on some tomorrow. Laterz!

Valet For a Dead Man: Jaden Brock is concerned about the murder that occurs so near the arena that WWE Raw took place at in Pennsylvania. Mainly because her cousin, Melissa works for the WWE on the Creative Team and the murder took place only three blocks away from the center. Soon she is even more worried as the days go by and another murder takes place at RAW in the parking garage of the center. Murders keep piling up one after the other within the WWE company, and Jaden is scared to death for her cousin.
Soon her fears come to pass, and Melissa is indeed found murdered in her make-shift office at the arena in Florida. She is overcome with grief but soon finds the courage to get through it and makes it her mission to find Melissa’s murderer. She goes through with the application to the Diva Search that Melissa had sent in for her, and makes the top eight. Determined to stay in the running to investigate, she plans to do anything she has to, to stay in the search. To her dismay she discovers that she will be eliminated early in the competition and is sent packing. Openly upset back in the locker rooms, she doesn’t realize that someone is watching her, and decides to pull some strings to keep her with the company. Soon she discovers that she is signed on and assigned to train under Mark Calloway, “The Undertaker”, and in the mean time becomes his valet.
When danger lurks closer and closer, can Jaden discover her cousin’s killer? And can the Dead Man keep her safe…or is he the man that Jaden is seeking to prove guilty of her cousin’s murder? After all…every murder has been centered around the WWE. It could be anyone…..

Broken Heart, Mended Heart: This is the sequel to Pinned Hearts. It's been about three years since Shawn's wife, Raven died in childbirth. Now he is faced with raising his daughter, Rachael Michaels. He tries to throw himself into his work to forget his problems only to discover that Vince McMahon has other plans. He informs Shawn that he will be given an indefinite amount of time off after No Way Out when he is "fired" on Raw. I've not had much luck with my past Yahoo Groups, (I don't understand how some people can get hundreds of active members, & I really try to work hard at it & can't ...ugh...), but thought I'd give another big effort. I've started a TNA/WWE group. And to save time, I'll just post what I posted in my WWE Universe blog, lol:

It's just got started late Monday night (11/3/08), and I've worked hard on it today (or so it felt like hard work, lol) but I still have a lot to do. I want to post news reports, pics, graphics, fan fictions and all sorts of stuff. As of now, I have several files (that contain the group's rules, welcome survey, as well as one or two of my fics, etc.), the first msg in the group that works as a sort of Welcome msg, and the hardest part was getting 438 pics of various wrestlers. I have a LOT of Cena, Taker, and some others scattered through. Got some of TNA up now. ANyway, I think it'll be great, but be patient as right now I'm the only one participating and there's only so much I can do by myself. PLEASE join and participate with me! I've never had a group take off big before so help me make this one big, pwease? =P You won't have to be approved to join, so just go sign up & feel free to suggest how to make it better. Post news if you want, pics, stories, etc. Make polls even. Have FUN! The only stipulation is the rules which are briefly stated on the homepage, & upon joining you'll automatically recieve the more in depth rules. And also, when you join your msgs will be moderated (only for a while) till I see that there are no trouble makers lurking. But I'll be on the group quite a bit so I'll get the msgs approved fast. =]

An EDIT: I've had a couple people ask how to join so here's a few instructions that hopefully won't confuse anyone.
First you need to be signed into Yahoo, then you just click on the link above, and then click the blue box that says "Join This Group". It's located right above the pic of WWE & TNA Superstars on the page towards the right side of the screen. Then you are sent to a page where you just select the type of emails you want to recieve (like a digest, or individual emails, etc.), then select whether you want fully featured emails, or traditional, and then click the blue "Join" box at the bottom of the page, & you should be good to go. =]
