I am WAY stoked for the new Nightmare On Elm Street! Below, I'm posting the link to the trailer (was going to embed it, but the blog won't let me, ugh...why does the website even have the "insert media" option?). I'll also post some screen shots for a better look at Freddy and Jackie Earle Haley's Freddy makeup (for those of you that don't know or haven't heard about the new Nightmare film, Jackie Earle Haley is going to be playing Freddy Krueger [Rorschach from Watchmen]). I can see where they are definitely making Freddy look like a real burn victim. However, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the makeup. I've always liked the traditional look. But anyway, I'm sure his acting will definitely help Freddy be as terrifying as ever. I personally think that the scene where Kris (Tina from the original) is rising up off the bed looks just ominous. It's gonna be WICKED! For those that are hoping to see Freddy using his one-liners and funny jokes, may be disappointed. It's said that Freddy is going back to his scary roots like he was back in part 1 & 2 and part 7.
Does anyone else think that it looks as though in the beginning of the trailer, that perhaps this "re-imagining" is going to be that Freddy is actually innocent of the children's murders but then goes evil after he dies when he is burned by the parents? Interesting...

*Work-in-progress* After the Sunset: *Slight cross-over between the movie Van Helsing, and the WWE. One of Meadow Van Helsing’s many dreams came true when she met Dave Batista at a young age, and instantly won over a true best friend. Another of her dreams came true when she was signed onto the WWE. However, her hopes and dreams soon shatter into nightmares when she discovers she is being stalked by a man she recognizes, but doesn’t know; The Rock. She has no idea what he could want with her, and that’s what frightens her most. Dave Batista knows exactly what is going on but is unsure of how to approach the subject. He figures the fact that he and half the WWE are vampires is not exactly going to comfort her. He knows deep down that he loves her and always has. He fights the most important fight of his life, to find a way to save the last Van Helsing before the Rock can use her for his chaotic intentions.
*Completed* Valet For a Dead Man: Jaden Brock is concerned about the murder that occurs so near the arena that WWE Raw took place at in Pennsylvania. Mainly because her cousin, Melissa works for the WWE on the Creative Team and the murder took place only three blocks away from the center. Soon she is even more worried as the days go by and another murder takes place at RAW in the parking garage of the center. Murders keep piling up one after the other within the WWE company, and Jaden is scared to death for her cousin. Soon her fears come to pass, and Melissa is indeed found murdered in her make-shift office at the arena in Florida. She is overcome with grief but soon finds the courage to get through it and makes it her mission to find Melissa’s murderer. She goes through with the application to the Diva Search that Melissa had sent in for her, and makes the top eight. Determined to stay in the running to investigate, she plans to do anything she has to, to stay in the search. To her dismay she discovers that she will be eliminated early in the competition and is sent packing. Openly upset back in the locker rooms, she doesn’t realize that someone is watching her, and decides to pull some strings to keep her with the company. Soon she discovers that she is signed on and assigned to train under Mark Calloway, “The Undertaker”, and in the mean time becomes his valet. When danger lurks closer and closer, can Jaden discover her cousin’s killer? And can the Dead Man keep her safe…or is he the man that Jaden is seeking to prove guilty of her cousin’s murder? After all…every murder has been centered around the WWE. It could be anyone…
This was my first fic ever, and it shows, lol. It's gotten quite a bit of positive feedback, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to re-write it. So you might want to hold off reading the sequel (the one posted below this one) till I do. =P

Her close friend urges her into entering the WWE Diva Search contest to "get away from it all" and actually wins. She starts out disliking her job for a couple of reasons. Things start to heat up when gorgeous Shawn Micheals shows a very strong interest in her. And he doesn’t let them cool down when Raven shuns him. But can the famous Heart Break Kid overcome the rejection and care enough about a woman to put his life on the line for her when a dangerous shadow lurks behind?... *NOTE: This was before I realized how the Diva Search worked. So it's a bit off. It wasn't bad for my first fic ever though. =P
*Work-in-progress; hiatus for now* Broken Heart, Mended Heart: This is the sequel to Pinned Hearts. It's been about three years since Shawn's wife, Raven died in childbirth. Now he is faced with raising his daughter, Rachael Michaels. He tries to throw himself into his work to forget his problems only to discover that Vince McMahon has other plans. He informs Shawn that he will be given an indefinite amount of time off after No Way Out when he is "fired" on Raw. Shawn soon discovers that the real reason he threw himself into his work was to avoid Rachael. She is the spitting image of Raven and he knows he can't handle being around his daughter much for that very reason. He decides to hire a caretaker to work long shifts to take care of his daughter while he wallows in self pity. He winds up hiring fiery-haired Skye Blake to take care of Rachael, a young woman that works the nursery at their church, after he hears that she is having troubles at her current job. That's when his world turns completely upside down.
He can't help but notice how kind and tender Skye is to his daughter. How loving and…maternal she is. Which leads him to seeing her beauty, her kindness, and her heart. And when troubles start to fill Skye's life, Shawn must make an important decision. A decision that could change his life. Or a decision that could ruin his life. But also a decision that could make his life. If he can just take a leap of faith… *NOTE: Not yet completed*

That is until he meets young, pretty Cadence McKenzie who seems to put him in his place without even seeming to mean to. He is intrigued by her apparent indifference toward him, and is surprised when he finds himself wanting to get to know her better. But Cadence has a secret she is keeping from him. Something that she prays he doesn’t find out. Something that could take her very life. Cadence McKenzie figures it will be just another day when she takes her neighbors’ son, Levi Parker to an episode of Monday Night Raw. But when she meets cocky John Cena in person she is mortified when Levi starts trying to set John up with her. She sets up her wall of defense, which is the cold shoulder and is surprised when John really does seem interested in her. But, he can’t get too interested. That would result in him finding out her secret. She was no longer responding to treatments for her cancer. The last thing she wanted was for a man to pity her. She wanted a man that would truly love her because of who she was not out of pity. Cadence will have to rely on her faith in God to help her through her time of need.
*Completed* Fire & Ice: When stranded in some Colorado woods, John falls for a beautiful romance author. But can he get the best of her fiery temper and set a fire of his own in her heart?
*Completed* In Dreams: A story of two "Romeo and Juliet" type star-crossed lovers that can't be together in reality, so they resort to their dreams. But when dreams aren't enough, what else is there to depend on? True love can not end. Even in death...

Serafina knows after watching Monday Night Raw that John does exist, but cannot bring herself to try and contact him for various reasons. One of which being that in reality she has a husband Kyle,and six month old daughter, Sienna. However, John isn’t willing to let this keep him from the love of his life. But what either he or Serafina doesn’t realize is that Kyle will do whatever it takes to keep Serafina and Sienna in his control. Whatever it takes…
