If you think you would like a novel that is a mix of wrestling, romance, and suspense...then feel free to check out my book I'm posting at Authonomy.com
**NOTE: This is written under my pseudonym, Lilly S. Rowland.
The plot is:
When murders begin happening more and more often in World Orbit Wrestling, Shannon Brock begins to worry for her cousin, Melissa, who works on the writing team of the successful wrestling company. Especially when it becomes obvious that the killer is slaughtering the female crewmembers that have the same physical attributes; long dark hair, blue eyes and dark skin. It is clear-cut that the person committing the murders is a serial killer. What worries Shannon more than anything though is that she and Melissa both have the physical qualities that the killer seems to have an eye for.
Shannon soon decides to apply to train as a wrestler to help protect Melissa. But when tragedy strikes, Shannon vows to bring the killer to justice. As she investigates, she is lured into an unexpected romance with veteran wrestler, Joshua Davis, whose large build and southern drawl soon draws her in to an unimaginable world of passion. But can she trust Joshua to keep her safe? Can she trust anyone? After all, the murders are all taking place within World Orbit Wrestling. The killer could be anybody…
If you read it, let me know what you think! Please register at Authonomy (doesn't take long at all) and put me on your bookshelf! It helps my rankings and could possibly lead to HarperCollins publishing it down the road.
Bragging Rights totally has me stumped on who's going to win what. With John Cena...I'd normally say "Pfffft....there's NO possible way that he'll leave RAW. But now...I'm really not sure. I think it's going to depend on how much the Creative team wants to shake things up. Hope he stays on RAW though. As long as he's on SmackDown, I'll be fine overall, but I dont' think RAW would be the same without him. Hopefully, he and all other wrestlers will be careful though. (as I'm sure they are). I always hate to hear of injuries. =[
Anyway, short blog, yes, lol. But I'm busy writing & was just taking a short break away from it.
Oh, and as usual, any rude comments won't be approved. ;-)
Okay, I just found a very rude comment on here from someone I thought was a buddy, but turned out to be a punk. I'll be classy and not name names but they know who they are.
Thankfully, I have my comments set to where I have to approve them first. Anyway, this "friend" verbally attacked me out of nowhere because of my blogs. They called me a hypocrite because I posted a blog called Stop Sending Me Non-Wrestling Related Group Invites! (feel free to read & see that I am not even rude in the blog. Or at least I try not to be.) and then the next blog I posted was about the new Nightmare On Elm Street movie.
I'll quote what this "friend" said to me: "Well, what does Nightmare on Elm Street have to do with wrestling then??? I remembe the originals... no wretlers were in them, that I saw! Sounds hypocritical to me.... and your PETA invirtes/health updates between u and me aren't wrestling-related either. DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE!!!!"
That is the exact quote because I copy/pasted it. I also have a screen-shot of it that, if I wanted to be really classless, I could show as proof.
Now my response is that I am not a "hypocrite" because I never once said (nor did I title my blog), "Stop Posting Non-Wrestling Related Blogs/Messages/etc." And do you know why? Because 1) I have no right to tell people what to post or what not topost on their blogs/profiles, or for that matter, what to say/not say in their privatemessages to friends. 2) I don't give a rat's butt what people post on their own blogs/profiles or what messages they send their friends. It's none of my business. What ismy business however, is what someone sends directly to me. Such as group invites (which is actually what my blog is talking about), and shout outs (with the shout outs I'm just actually referring to the annoying chain letters; and I'm pretty sure the majority of the WWE Universe are tired of those). I have every friggin' right to dictate what I receive, as does everyone else on this site.
And as for my blogs about Social Vibe (a website that donates money to good causes the more points you make) & PETA & the Starlight Children's Foundation...in my own opinion, doing something (no matter how small) good for the world is far more important than belonging to a WWE Universe group dedicated to Michael-friggin'-Jackson, who has nothing to do with wrestling (hence my freaking blog). And that's no insult to Michael Jackson. I totally respect what he did for the music industry, and the things he did for good causes. But let's face it...what do these "groups" do for the world? Absolutely nothing. So, said "friend"...back the heck off.
I will also be honest and admit that I wrote this person up and used some very colorful language on them. I regret stooping to that level, but when someone starts telling me (not to mention cyber yelling) that I'm being hypocritical for what I want/do not want to recieve, well...I get pissed off, plain & simple. And to tell you how mad this made me, anyone who knows me, knows that I so very rarely curse. But when I'm verbally attacked on my own terf...well it's like one of my favorite wrestlers has said, "Mess with the bull, you get the horns!"
And I'm very sorry to my genuine and non two-faced wrestling buddies to have to read about my "angry" side. But I desperately needed a rant after this incident. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a supposed friend.

I don't mean this in a rude way at all, so please don't be offended.
I'm asking those of you on here that send me group invites to groups that have NOTHING to do with wrestling, to stop sending me those kinds of invites. I only join wrestling-relatedgroups. And sometimes I don't even do that, if it happens to be a group dedicated to a wrestler I don't much like, (EX. Maryse, Jack Swagger, etc.). So please, do NOT send me group invites to groups that are dedicated to stuff like car racing, movies (unless it's got wrestlers in it. Like 12 Rounds or The Marine or Blade Trinity, etc.), rock groups, or anything like that. You'd be surprised how many NON-wrestling related group invites I get. And strait up, I decline them. So please stop sending them. It's nothing but a waste of time for you, and for me. EDIT: Starting TODAY, if I get a non wrestling-related group invite, I'm going to start deleting the people sending them off my friends list.
