Okay, I just found a very rude comment on here from someone I thought was a buddy, but turned out to be a punk. I'll be classy and not name names but they know who they are.
Thankfully, I have my comments set to where I have to approve them first. Anyway, this "friend" verbally attacked me out of nowhere because of my blogs. They called me a hypocrite because I posted a blog called Stop Sending Me Non-Wrestling Related Group Invites! (feel free to read & see that I am not even rude in the blog. Or at least I try not to be.) and then the next blog I posted was about the new Nightmare On Elm Street movie.
I'll quote what this "friend" said to me: "Well, what does Nightmare on Elm Street have to do with wrestling then??? I remembe the originals... no wretlers were in them, that I saw! Sounds hypocritical to me.... and your PETA invirtes/health updates between u and me aren't wrestling-related either. DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE!!!!"
That is the exact quote because I copy/pasted it. I also have a screen-shot of it that, if I wanted to be really classless, I could show as proof.
Now my response is that I am not a "hypocrite" because I never once said (nor did I title my blog), "Stop Posting Non-Wrestling Related Blogs/Messages/etc." And do you know why? Because 1) I have no right to tell people what to post or what not to post on their blogs/profiles, or for that matter, what to say/not say in their private messages to friends. 2) I don't give a rat's butt what people post on their own blogs/profiles or what messages they send their friends. It's none of my business. What is my business however, is what someone sends directly to me. Such as group invites (which is actually what my blog is talking about), and shout outs (with the shout outs I'm just actually referring to the annoying chain letters; and I'm pretty sure the majority of the WWE Universe are tired of those). I have every friggin' right to dictate what I receive, as does everyone else on this site.
And as for my blogs about Social Vibe (a website that donates money to good causes the more points you make) & PETA & the Starlight Children's Foundation...in my own opinion, doing something (no matter how small) good for the world is far more important than belonging to a WWE Universe group dedicated to Michael-friggin'-Jackson, who has nothing to do with wrestling (hence my freaking blog). And that's no insult to Michael Jackson. I totally respect what he did for the music industry, and the things he did for good causes. But let's face it...what do these "groups" do for the world? Absolutely nothing. So, said "friend"...back the heck off.
I will also be honest and admit that I wrote this person up and used some very colorful language on them. I regret stooping to that level, but when someone starts telling me (not to mention cyber yelling) that I'm being hypocritical for what I want/do not want to recieve, well...I get pissed off, plain & simple. And to tell you how mad this made me, anyone who knows me, knows that I so very rarely curse. But when I'm verbally attacked on my own terf...well it's like one of my favorite wrestlers has said, "Mess with the bull, you get the horns!"
And I'm very sorry to my genuine and non two-faced wrestling buddies to have to read about my "angry" side. But I desperately needed a rant after this incident. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a supposed friend.
