About This Group

Remember the good old days when crazy costumes and cheesy names were what made the wrestlers great? When foldout chairs sat right up against the ring and a wrestler might fall in your lap during the match? This is the place of memories my friends!!!!

Feel free to talk about ancient matches, and take part in Who Would Win? discussions between the golden oldies and the current rosters!!!

I have been a fan of what is now called "sports entertainment" for over 30 years. I remember going to one show many years ago, there was "the missing link" Jim Duggan, the rockers, the midnight express, Kumla, and many others. what I would like to know is what ever happend to the shows in small towns? it is like the sports promoters have forgotten about us.

just like their used to be hundreds of organizations out there now all you hear about are two.
    T-N-A, and the WWE.

what I would like to know is what ever happend to the sport? it is just now so called entertainment. heck if I want to see a woman walking around in shorts so small she has another sent of lips to gloss I would go to the bar. what I want to see is real moves real people "fighting" like it was when I was younger.

I don't know if anyone else remembers but what ever happend to at the end of the night one of the westlers would challenge a member of the adudiance to come to the ring and see for themselves if it was real or not.

also what ever happend to the real people? when I was younger heck you had mostly heavy guys with hair all over now you have more like models then men.
