Bret after losing the WWE tag team titles at Wrestlemania 7 decided to embark on a single career. It wasn't too long afterwards at SummerSlam 1991 Bret would get a shot at Mr.Perfect's I.C. Title. Now it was during this time we would come to find out why the "Hitman" was always wearing his trademark sunglasses. Bret at the beginning of his career was afraid of doing interviews and looking into the camera so they added the sunglasses and he just always wore them.

Hitman vs Perfect this match was just that "Perfect" in everyway. This was to me the very 1st Techinally sound match that was ever announced as that. These 2 master of the mat stole the show that night and brought meaning to the I.C. Title becoming "The Workhorse Title" But it was Bret showing us his new Finshing Submission move "The Sharpshooter" to get the win and become The New I.C. Champion. And Bret to me became" Mr.SummerSlam" as we will examine that in our next Bret Hart blog.

Bret would hold the I.C. Title till Janurary 17th,1992 losing it to the Mountie as Bret was wrestling with a high fever that night in Madison Square Garden. Bret would recapture the I.C. Title from Rowdy Roddy Piper at Wrestlemania 8 in another classic I.C. Title match. This match was a classic in itself for 2 reasons. 1. Both men let it all go that night and gave one of their best performances of their lives. 2. This match was also classic storytelling at it's best the way a match should be built around.

Bret then would defend the I.C.Title in July of 1992 in the 1st ever ladder match with HBK Shawn Micahels. Bret would go on to win but you could tell that this was not going to be the 1st or last time these 2 icons and arch rivals would ever meet.

Bret then would go onto SummerSlam 1992 to once again be the fightingest I.C Champions of all time and face off against his brother in law Davey Boy Smith at wimmbley stadium with 82,000 screaming fans in the main event the 1st and last time a I.C. Ttile match was ever the main event at a WWF/WWE pay-per-view event. Once again classic storytelling as it was booked as a "Family Affair" Bret sister and Davey Boy's Diana did not know which side to take and was torn from the beginning. This match like Bret's Wrestlemania 8 match with Piper was back and forth a lot of 2 counts in this one the Ref in this match i think at times was the one getting the most workout of anyone. But it would be Davey Boy Smith at 28:32 and using a surprise small package to get the win over The Hitman in this classic I.C. Title match. If you haven't seen this classic you need to.

But Bret was only 2 months away from his destiny and fulfilling a life long dream. In the next Bret Hart blog we will look in depth at Bret Hart the WWF Championship years.

Let me introduce to everyone a little surprise that has changed my life forever!!!!! His name is Gavin Michael O'bryen. This precious little thing is why i have been flying back and forth to Atlanta every so often. He is my son that someone try to hide from me!! Just think off a odd WWE storyline like Mr.McMahon and Hornswoggle and equate that to this!!! Funny sometimes how art can immiate life!!! He was born Feburary 17th ,2008  And I wanted to wait till today my Birthday to announce this to Family and Freinds.... So please everyone welcome the newest WWE fan to take us to the next generation Gavin Michael O'bryen!!!

Bret started with the WWF in August of 1984. His inital gimmick was to be a cowboy,but at the request of Bret that would soon get dropped. He then asked WWF officals if Bret and his Brother in law Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart could form a tag team called The Hart Foundation. That also happend as they added Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart as their manager. Soon Gorilla Moonson would coin the phrase for Bret "The Excellent Of Excution" for Bret's agile and technical skills. Add Jim Neidhart power and speed for such a big man this was a unstopable force in the WWF.

The Hart Foundation would go on to win their 1st of 2 Tag Team Championship Reigns by defeating The British Bulldogs "The Dynamite Kid" and Davey Boy Smith Bret's other Brother In Law on July 26th,1987. They would hold the Tag Team Titles till October 27th,1987being defeated in a match of the year canidate by Strike Force Rick Martel and Tito Santana.

Soon afterwards Their manager Jimmy Hart would leave them for The Fablous Rougeau Brothers in a very interesting way of still taking money from The Hart Foundation even though he was no longer their manager. This all culmenated in a huge match between these 2 tag teams which The Hart Foundation would win. The Hart Foundation would then enter a 20 man over the top battle royal at Wrestlemania 4 in which Bret was the last 2 in the ring along with Bad News Brown. Brown would go on to win this battle royal and The Foundation split for awhile as it looked as if Bret was getting a shot at being a singles star. Bret would go on to beat Bad News Brown. But The Hart Foundation would team up again at Wrestlemania 5 to take on their old manager Jimmy Hart's team of Rhytm and Blues The Honky Tonk Man and The Hammer Greg Valentine. The Hart Foundation would go on to win this encounter and reteam for the next 2 years.

At SummerSlam 1990 The Hart Foundation took on the fearsome threesome of Demolition Ax,Smash and Crush in a 2 out of 3 falls match for the WWF Tag Team Championships. But when as it seemed Demoltion would retain the tag team titles by keep switching partners from underneath the ring the Leigon Of Doom came to their aid and The Hart Foundation won the WWF Tag Team Championships for the 2nd time. They would hold the tag titles till Wrestlemania 7 when the lost the titles to Jimmy Hart's team of The Nasty Boys.

In the next edition of the Bret Hart Blogs we will focus on Bret's single career and his 1st ever single championship in the WWF.

Matt Hardy started us off this week the new ECW Champion looked great with the strap and look no belt extender lol!!!!   Matt thanked the crowd saying "This is a dream come true" and a lot of people doubted him and matt would like to go on to be "The greatest ECW Champion of all time" Out comes Mark Henry and Tony Atlas, Mark looked really focused and clamied "I want a rematch" Tony said to Matt "Don't touch me again or we will have problems" Then Mark went to attack Matt and Matt somewhat tosses Mark out of the ring and Atlas get a twist of fate for his troubles.

Evan Bourne vs. John Morrison- We only had 3 matches on ECW this week but this one should have been the main event. These 2 stoled the show!! A somewhat of a rematch from Monday nights tag team match from Raw. And Morrison was on Bourne from the very beginning Bourne had no offense or defensive for the first 5 or 10 minutes of this match Morrison truly kept Evan grouned for quite some time. The Miz interfered a couple of times including Evan being on the top turnbuckle and The Miz shakes the ropes and Morrison gets the huge spinning kick off the ropes onto Bourne. Finally Evan got some much needed momentum with a kick to the head of Morrison. Evan once again goes for that incrediable standing moonsalt but Morrison get his legs up for the block. But it's Morison with the kick to the head and the shaman of sexy picks up the win. But it took Miz and Morrison both to defeat this bright young star of the WWE.

Once again this week we see a new comer to this ECW talent initative. His name is the All American American's Jack Swagger vs. Josh Daniels- For some reason Swagger reminds me of  JBL. This match was all Swagger with a big face rub to the mat to a very impressive quick sidewalk slam. But it's Swagger's finishing move Matt Striker called it the "Blue Thunder Bolt" slam. And Jack Swagger picks up his 1st win in ECW. And kid's I was very impressed with this dominating young man I hope to see more of him in the coming weeks.

Matt hardy and Finley and Hornswoggle were making their way to the ring for the main event tag team match. We see Ricky Ortiz giving a Ricky O rally towel to Hornswoggle.. Please enough with the rally towel I think that towel is getting over more than Ricky Ortiz is!!!!

Matt Hardy.Finley vs. Mark Henry/Mike Knox- Matt tried taking Mark out early with a kick to the feet and a twist of fate but Henry pushes Matt away. That Guy from Survivor Series 2006 oh ya HBK that's Mike Knox I remember now!!! Finally gets in the ring with Finley. But I have to give to Knox a little this week he kept Finley at bay for a while especially with that big boot to the face of the fighting irishman. Finley then gets a much needed tag to Matt and Hardy takes Knox to school Matt goes with the side effect on Knox but only gets a 2 count by Mark Henry with the save. But it's Finley with the Sheliegleigh over the head of Henry and then Matt hitting the twist of fate on Knox to pick up the win for the new ECW Champion and The Fighting Irishman and his son.

A little side note here I am so happy to see that the WWE has finally rewarded Matt Hardy for his 15 years plus of being in the WWE. But I also believe that Jeff Hardy deserves the same respect. BOTH these men have laid their lives and bodies on the line for this great company and it's fan. Please give Jeff his time in the lights it would be realy awesome to see these 2 brothers holding World Championships at the same time.

This week's Raw blog will be Uncooked and Unsensored as I was there ring side last night at Raw in Fort Wayne Indiana. Before we get to the action I would like to tell everyone what happen to me last night before the show. We were standing outside talking and out of nowhere who do I see. The Sign Guy. For those of you who don't know his real name it's Rick  and if you don't have him as a friend here on Fan Nation you need to!! Rick is very down to earth and a great person to talk to. Thank you Rick you are awesome keep those signs coming.

The dark match was D-Lo Brown vs. a local guy I believe I can't remember his name!! It was a good match but D-Lo misses the frog splash and the no name guy get's the win??? Wow i was stunned.

Our new World Heavyweight Champion comes out looking very confident and arrorgant. Nice suit by the way i really liked it. He talks about HBK and how HBK feels no remorse and that Chris is a good guy like he's been saying he his and good things happen to good people such as him winning the WHC at Unforgiven!! Then Mike Adamle comes out (and Mike looks a little bigger in person i think he might make a good wrestler himself) and says that Chris will be in the main event tonight aganist Batista,and that next week he will have to Defend the WHC against CM Punk in a steel cage match!!! Good move Adamle!!!!

During commerical Tood Grisham came out and did the best sign of the night. And let me tell you the People of Ft.Wayne are very creative!! One said "It's my mom's birthday" His friend next beside him read "No it's not lol!!!! And I have to say there were a lot of HBK signs as well.

Woman's title match was outstanding. Mickie James looks hotter in person(Mickie your awesome) Candice Michelle was at ring side (and yes Candice you look even hotter in person as well) I could have died and been a very happy single man lol!!! And yes Fefe Candice was very odd with the laughing and facial experssions. But it's Beth retaining the title.

Jamie Noble vs. William Regal- Now I would have thought Regal would have been mad at Mike Adamle for not making him the "suitable" replacement in the scramble match but that didn't seem to be the case. This was the best match these 2 have had in this feud so far. But  it's Regal getting the win and taking Layla with him WHAT!!! And did you see Layla keep looking back at Jamie I can't wait to see what happens next with these 2.

JBL vs. CHL- You got to love what they are doing with Charlie Hass he was so funny last night i was laughing and crying at the same time. Him being locked in the trunk was priceless and the mamajuanna cheap pop and plug was hillious at it's finest. But JBL took it too much to heart and after chastising CHL JBL left the ring and got counted out and finally Hass wins one!!! Hass was very generous with the fans as he left.

Now FEFE,MEASHA,AND DEAN PLEASE DON'T HATE ME ON THIS NEXT MATCH!!!!   It's Evan Bourne and Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz and John Morrison!!! I was excited to see this one. I was very surpised to see Evan there at all. During the commerical break after Miz/Morrison came out they did a little promo that was very funny and i believe the crowd enjoyed it. But I came to the notion as I was sitting there watching this match live The Miz and Morrison work really well together as a team something I did not notice till last night so i will be more objective about these 2 in the future!! Rey and Evan also worked well together I would like to see these 2 tag more often. And Fefe,Measha,and Dean Evan's shooting star press is more flawless live than on TV I was on my feet when he hit that and picks up the win. But it's Kane interupting the celebration to announce next week on Raw it's Rey and Kane one on one. The pyro for Kane was the best all night!!! And what's up with Kane and his mask?? Do you think Kane wants to take Rey's mask off of him??

Randy Orton I must say the last couple of weeks I have liked him more and more and after last night it just fueled my likeing more for Orton. He basically said everyone needed to thank him from Jericho getting the WHC to him being the one to get Rid of CM Punk. Then Simply Priceless came out and said Orton needed to thank them and Manu for getting rid of CM Punk. Orton did not take to kind to that and slapped I MEAN really slapped the taste out of DiBiase mouth and left the ring. Randy keep lighting those fires......

6 Man Tag Rhodes/DiBiase/Manu vs. Cryme Tyme/Kofi Kingston- This was a very exciting 6 man tag match this Manu is somebody to be watching over the next few weeks and months he is nothing but raw power and looks huge in person. Cryme Tyme and Kofi made a great team but it's Manu taking off the head of big Shad Gaspar to pick up the win!!!! Simply Priceless I say after seeing them live it's Simply Dominating.

During this commerical break Lilian (and yes I LOVE YOU TOO LILIAN) LOL!!  Did the kiss cam segment!!!! Now I have seen this plenty of times before at Raw's i have been to at the past but i must say that the Ashley Massorio's twins getting caught by the camera and kissing is by far the best Kiss I have ever seen during this segment!!!! Sorry ladies I wanted to pass that along to the guys here on Fan Nation!!!!

This is what I've been waiting for all night long SANTINO MARELLA!!!! The Honkey Donkey Man better be watching out as we got to see the Honky Meter again. And for those who are keeping score it's Honky Donky Man 64 weeks Santino 3 weeks...You can do it Santino..His opponet this week Snitsky (and boy did I gringe) I thought Santino might have been in trouble but he picks up the surprising win and yes Fefe you thought Candice looked funny be standing right in front of Santino and Beth as they are kissing funny stuff!!!! And during the commercial when Snitsky left the ring he was holding his leg i believe he really got injurned during the end of that match up.

My Main Event and yours was Jericho vs. Batista- Jericho was getting killed kid's but about 2 minutes in to the match Mike Adamle comes out and makes this a handicap match adding JBL to Jericho's side. Now JBL and Batista earlier in the night had words back stage after that whole CHL dibacle. And i must say by not seeing HBK and CM Punk live seeing JBL twice in the same night was a treat for me. But as we all know it was JBL getting the win with the clothesline from Hell. Jericho better be ready for next week week. and what about Mike Adamle coming out and saying sorry Dave am new at this whole GM job I HAVE A FUNNY feeling someone else is pulling the strings of our GM Mike Adamle?? Could it be one JBL!!!!!

Batista stayed a little bit after Raw went off the air!!! But it was nothing like back when Austin or HHH/HBK would stick around tell a funny story or have a extra dark match. But from the looks of it the crowd ate up Dave Batista staying out after wards and shaking hands Batista even appluaded the fans before he left and that to me shows that Dave Batista is nothing more than a top class guy thank you Dave.....And Fort Wayne Indiana you truly rocked the house last night... I hope you have enjoyed this special Raw Live blog I hope to do it again soon!!!
