    No Mercy Predictions

Sunday, October 5, 2008, 07:00 PM EST [General]

Ok once again it's time for my No Mercy Predictions. At Summerslam I went 7-0 on my picks. at unforgiven I was 6-1 so my perdictions seem to be pretty right on so lets see how I do at No Mercy.

JBL vs. Batista: I will have to go with JBL. He is on a mission from hell to become Champion and I think he is way to focused to let anything get in his way especially the Mananimal. Batista is just riding along right now especially with the rumors about him wanting to retire in 2 years

    Winner: JBL

Rey vs. Kane: I will have to pick the underdog Mysterio in this one. There is no way that the WWE right now will have Rey unmask. He is way to over with the kid demographic and that's what the WWE and their new PG rating is wanting right now. Kane on the other hand tho is due for a shot at the WHC and should get one soon.

    Winner: Rey Mysterio

Undertaker vs. The Big Show: I will have to pick the Big Show and not because I want to. The Undertaker is banged up pretty bad (Again from internet rumor) and The storyline right now the way it is and The Big Show wanting a WWE Title match it would make sense that the Big Show wins. And maybe look for some surprise interference from someone who is Rated R.

    Winner: The Big Show

WWE Woman's Championship Beth Pheonix vs. Candice Michelle: I will have to pick Candice Michelle. She seems to be the talk of the woman's division at least from the aspect of becoming the next Champion. Beth in recent weeks has had too much fun with Santino plus if you add ticking off Batista Beth is not at her best right now. Add her losses to Kelly Kelly in the last few weeks(Maybe it should be Kelly Kelly getting the shot at the title here)

Winner: Candice Michelle with some unwanted help by Santino

ECW Title: Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry: I will pick Matt Hardy in this one. It's Matt's time plain and simple. Matt has worked way to hard to loose the title at this point. And Mark Henry is nothing but hot air. Enough said.

Winner: Matt Hardy with a clean 1-2-3 pinfall.

WWE Title: HHH vs. Jeff Hardy: This one is hard to pick. HHH and Koslov would make a good match for Cyber Sunday. On the other hand like his brother Matt it is Jeff's time to shine as WWE Champion. You will see some interference from Koslov and maybe The Brian Kendrick who does have a lot to prove and making this kind of statement during a high profile championship match would help his cause. If you can remember the last time these 2 meet was at Armageddon 2007 which Jeff walked away the winner. Too much going on in this match so I will pick experience over anything.

    Winner: HHH

WHC Title: Chris Jericho vs. HBK: These 2 over the last few months have been putting on wrestling clinics everytime they lock up. You add a Ladder match to all of this and I say we might have a classic on our hands. I would have to say that it is HBK time to have one more great title run. The fans have been asking for this over the last 3 or 4 years and sometime i wonder if the WWE even listens. His 3 or 4 Championship matches at Cyber Sunday which the fans do vote on should speak volumes that it truly is HBK's time. Jericho is a excellent Champion don't get me wrong. He really has taken over the Heel deparment since Edge has been away and Randy Orton has been Injured. If Jericho does win he as well will deserve it.

Winner: And NEW World Heavyweight Champion HBK

THE 22 MINUTE DEATH OF ECW

Monday, September 22, 2008, 08:55 PM EST [General]

Let me refresh your memories or maybe even educate some of you on the real reason ECW or atleast the E for EXTREME has been dead since 2006? Do you all remember ECW December to Dismember!!! It was really the 1st WWE all ECW pay-per-view that wasn't a One Night Stand!! On the card that night was An Extreme elmination chamber match for the ECW Title. That night Bobby Lashley would become ECW champion!

Now Paul Heyman from my view had some atonomy when it came to running ECW even thought it wasn't his anymore. From Storyline conception to talent Paul seemed to be the one still in charge of the Kool-Aid. I really believed in my heart of hearts that ECW was back look at all the Extreme rules matches. Big Show and Ric Flair (yes i said Ric Flair) Had the best Hardcore matches I have ever seen!! RVD vs. Hardcore Holly when Holly had his back tore open and was bledding like there was no tomorrow Holly even finished the match!!!

But back to my orginal thought here. The 1st thing i remember thinking about was the Event didn't even have a huge card or bulid up only The main event Extreme Elmination Chamber match. But then again when you have 2 pay-per-views in one month it does seem a little hetic,I mean after all I believe WWE was just looking at $ signs when it came to ECW and not the actual brand itself. But the one person who believed in ECW still was Paul Heyman.

Now your standard WWE pay-per-view usually lasts till around 10:45-10:50 PM. On this night the ECW pay-per-view got over at 10:28 PM. And was Vince or the high up's what ever coin you flip were inscensed that this happen. And the next thing I remember is Paul Heyman on TV apoplogizing and in Tears for what had happen. And this was the very last time we ever saw Paul Heyman in the WWE or ECW. And ever since then the Kool-Aid hasan't been the same in matter of a fact I don't know what we have been drinking for the last 2 years.

We've gone from the bingo hall to the penthouse and in my view i loved the bingo hall better than anything else. There have been some great WWE-ECW momements but none that will ever top Paul Heyman's ECW and that's what ECW needs if it intends to survive. But I will always remember the 22 minutes that killed ECW forever.

    YOU'VE BEEN SMACKED 9/19/08

Saturday, September 20, 2008, 12:45 PM EST [General]

The blue brand this week followed Raw and made some history of it's own. We saw the very 1st Diva's Championship match on Smackdown as Michelle McCool defend the Title against Maryse in a Unforgiven rematch. Now I 1st have to agree with J.R. and go one step farther when he stated that Michelle McCool has evevoled well so has Maryse these 2 get better and better each and everyweek. Maryse really took control at the begining and seemed hungry for the Diva's Title. Michelle just walked literally on Maryse back and what a outstanding low dropkick by Michelle she seems to be getting cat like reflexes. And Maryse with that rolling Camel clutch is just sweet. But it's Michelle picking up the win and retaining her title on a move J.R. called "Wings of Love". Very impressive move if you did not see last night's broadcast.

Vicky and Big Show in the G.M. office and Eve walks in asking Vicky a series of questions about the Undertaker. Eve asked "Do you think the Undertaker is here tonight and do you think he wants retrobution for you 2 did to him at Unforgiven." Vicky got mad and wanted to know what else Eve wanted and Eve surprised me by saying she had been training to get in the ring to compete. Big Show just laughed and showed us a video of him beating up on the Undertaker at Unforgiven. I think Big show has no clue what he is doing?

Jesse vs. Ryan Bradrock: Jesse and festus again this week came out in the moving mode they are really ready for this move on October 3rd. And i have to admit I never get tired of the bell thing and festus it is hiliourious.Festus pretty much had this match won from the begining but it's the Jesse and Festus my moving company taping up Bradrock and leaving with him on the dolly. And yes kid's the bell did ring this week!!!

Vicky and Big Show in the back again talking about making the Undertaker getting on his knees and apologing to them and the video plays again.......

Shelton Benjamin vs. R-Truth: Ok here is a thought how about we make R-Truth a heel with this rap thing because I don't think he is not getting over any better than K-quick did. Real wrestling fans always remember WWE. But I have to say R-Truth was tested this week by the U.S. Champion. I thought R-Truth hitting his 360 spinning forearm too early in this match. but he gave shelton a ran from his money. Shelton came back with a vicious clothesline to Truth. These 2 just went face to face punch for punch kick for kick. But ii was R-Truth with a surprise German Suplex and pin to pick up the stunning victory ovet the Gold standard.

Jeff Hardy vs The Brian Kendrick: Jeff comes out and says he's been with the WWE off and on for the last 10 years. His journey has not been a smooth one but HHH you have me really fired up."At No Mercy I will take your WWE Title". Jeff was attempting to adress the Koslov situation from last week but the Brian Kendrick came out and said "You have to worry about the The Brian Kendrick because tonight it's one on one" Jeff just takes The Brain Kendrick to school. Jeff is really showing why he earned the #1 contenders spot. But Kendrick comes back with a huge clothesline and seems to like the half crab as he had it applied to Jeff a few times during this match. But Jeff surprises everyone with a very interesting roll up pin and gets the Win. But as Jeff is on the ramp celebrating out of nowhwhere for the second week in a row Koslov comes out and just destory's Jeff.

Vicky and The Big Show in the back again. Show is having a fit because the Undertaker has just showed up!! And Vicky just full of her self without even a worry starts saying that Undertaker will kiss my feet!!! But we find out that it was Chavo pretending to be The Deadman and it was all voice over work. All I can say is Chavo your a Dead man!!!! And then The Big Show once again shows the video!! Burn the damn thing already!!!

Yes, The return of Carlito's Cabana: The brothers Colon are very funny together as Primo was the guest. Primo kept stealing Carlito's line and Carlito was taking exception to it lol. Hawkins & Ryder come out and The Colon brothers act like they don't remember who they are? Carlito and Primo offered a challenge to the champions for a title match and they will get it next week. But it was Jesse and Festus coming out to move Carlito's Cabana out and Primo rang the bell and all hell broke loose as the tag champions were attacked from the brother Colon. My early prediction The Colon Brothers wiil be Tag Team Champions.

Looks like next week we will have a Diva's Tag match Maria & Brie vs. Natyla & Victoria as these 2 have promise to expose the Bella twins for everyone to see!!! And yes if you already don't know, now you know I said TWINS!!!!!

Scotty Golman vs The Great Kahli: let's cut to the chase here it's Kahli picking up the win and finally Kahli will next week will go one on one with Koslov about time both men got some real competition.

Lafamila in the back Hawkins & Ryder talking about next week Tag Team Title match and everyone except Chavo leaves as Chavo watches that Video again but this time after the video we see a snipet of the Undertaker and as Chavo turns around to leave Underetaker just starts chocking Chavo. One down 2 to go.

HHH vs. MVP: MVP in this one had nothing to loose and everything to gain. This one was really well paced as both men were trying not to make any mistakes for the other to capitalize on. At one point HHH mocks MVP and that starts to frustrate MVP and takes him off his game plan. MVP got back in to it with working on HHH arms and his mid section. HHH comes back with a facebuster. I have to hand it to the ring general HHH he made MVP look good throughout this match. HHH unleashed a series of high impact moves a AA spinebuster then the pedigree and picks up the win over MVP. But 2 things here #1 this match should take MVP to the next level and in my view should be facing the winner of the No Mercy Championship match #2 Raw I believe you have just been put on notice Smackdown is looking to become the Flagship show of the WWE. But we get a another visit from Koslov as The Game is celebrating his victory. HHH even taunts him to get in the ring. But as Koslov gets in the ring MVP takes the cheap shot at HHH and Koslov with that Big Headbutt takes HHH down. As Koslov is standing over HHH keep in mind The Moscow Mauler in 1 night took out the #1 contender Jeff Hardy and HHH. No Mercy is starting to look interesting.

Until next week YOU'VE JUST BEEN SMACKED!!!

    ECW ROUGH CUT 9/16/08

Thursday, September 18, 2008, 02:48 PM EST [General]

What's up with putting the Champions on 1st!!! Matt Hardy vs. Mike Knox: This was a ok match. I feel that Knox had a hard time selling Matt's move. Especially the bulldog. And the next time they want to bring up ex ECW Champions please add more than Tommy Dreamer and Mr. McMahon. Knox had a very impressive dropkick to Matt at one point. But Matt hits the twist of fate and gets his 1st singles victory since becoming ECW Champion.

Mark and Tony in the back talking about Matt never pinned him to be champion.Mark will get his Rematch at No Mercy.

The Miz vs. Evan Bourne: Ricky Ortiz was in Evan's corner. Bourne was all over The Miz from the start. And I wish the Ref would stop getting in the way and leting the superstars go. Miz really got the assist by the Ref getting involved. Miz had a vicious clothesline on Bourne. Evan and that standing moonsalt is just wicked everytime. But it's Evan with the roll up pin and the win.

Jack Swagger vs. Chase Stevens: The All American American looked great once again and Stevens showed no offense or defense in this one it's Swagger with the Thunder bolt bomb and goes 2-0 in ECW.

Finlay vs. Mark Henry: Mark was just descimating Finlay from the get go. That bearhug that Henry possess should realastically stop anyone and Henry applied that twice onto Finlay. Even Finlay himself had to ask the Ref to "Stay out of his way" Henry did an attempt to attack Hornswoggle but Finlay stoped that from happening. Finlay uses the Selieighly and uses it on Mark's left arm and Finlay started working feverishly on that left arm. Henry would get Finlay back into the bearhug and hit the World's Largest Slam and picks up the win..... Matt better be ready come No Mercy. Henry is playing for keeps.

Until next week you've been CUT!!!!!
