Parker here and I am extatic to be writing to you. This is my first non-WWE Blog. I wanted to let the universe know that it is my time to return. Like Batman to the silver screen, like Bret Favre back to the field and Edge back from hiatus, I am returning to what I love the most...teaching.
I am taking the PRAXIS 2 test tomorrow (1/10) and once passed, I will be a teacher again. I am very anxious to take this test again. I didn't pass it the last time by 1 point. Can you believe that? The funny thing is that professors and other administrators push something called differentiated instruction (which is teaching in a variety of methods to better suit the students learning style) and the test I have to take is 60 multiple choice questions. Is that ironic?
Before I became an unemployed teacher, I had the best teaching year in 2006-2007. I was teaching Reading/Language Arts, Math and was in an inclusion classroom with History. Did I mention I was a Special education teacher?
I got many students to raise their reading levels 2 grades. For example, one student was reading at a 4th grade reading level and I bumped them up to a 6th grade reading level (I taught 7th). Unprecidented in my field. I was at my peak and then the Ohio Department of Education and a miscommunicated requirement left me out of the past two school years. Since then I got a secretarial position at a highly regarded hospital. As much as I gained a lot of knowledge, this is not me.
Wish me luck tomorrow WWE Universe for the return of

With 2009 just a few hours away, I wanted to mention a few 2009 storyline ideas. The WWE has gotten very stale with some of the feuds and stories as well as some gimmicks and I would love it if some of these. I love lists so I always write them as such:
1. Dolph Ziggler...really?! What made him good enough to be in the 10 man tag? They couldn't get someone else? Who is he feuding with? None of the other 5 across the ring. No need to be there. Stay in the ECW-Minor leagues. No need to be at Raw unless you have staying power. You don't. My thought is, team him up with that ugly Jack Swagger. OVW and FCW has surely seen some duds brought up to the "big time." You want to be in the lime light, then show me more in 2009.
2. Tommy Dreamer and MVP need to have a match. These two have the longest losing streaks in the WWE and this match could be the Lions vs. Browns of the new year in 2009. They could go with the storyline of everyone taking everything away from MVP, even his ring attire as he keeps losing. They took the entrance away, the Lounge, and now they need to take away more. He also may need to get a manager or someone to guide him back to his winning ways. I've always thought of him as the next "The Rock." 2009, he'll lose it all, only to gain it all back.
3. MISSSSSSTTTTTTEEEERRRRRRRRRR KENNNNNEEEEDDDDYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...KENNEDY. 2009 is his year. He will win the US Title.
4. Retiring in 2009: JBL, HBK, UNDERTAKER, VICTORIA...wishful thinking in some regard. HBK and Undertaker are just beaten up. They both look just done. Undertaker may have the best entrance in all of the WWE but his in ring performance is just getting worse. I mean he is doing submission manuevers. HBK will retire but not before he takes on an apprentice. I can see this being John Morrison. I see HBK being saved by him during a match, maybe even Wrestlemania 25 in a retirement-type match like HBK and Flair did. Morrison would be a good replacement for HBK. That leaves Miz a singles wreslter. Could he survive if his Dirt Sheet partner goes babyface? I hope. I'm a fan of the Miz. JBL just because I'm tired of seeing the guy and Victoria, same thing. She is looking more like Ivory every day. Her age is showing a bit too. I used to love her feud with Trish Stratus but this BFF thing. It needs to go in '09. By the end, she will too.
5. Future ..."future endeavors..." Candidates: Paul Burchill, Jimmy Wang Yang, DJ Gabriel, Dolph Ziggler, Bam Neeley, Ryder and Hawkins, Kizarny, Jesse and Alicia Fox. Hey, some of them have to show me something to be on full time. Others is because they aren't used enough.
6. John Cena will turn heel, Orton will be face and win title at Wrestlemania. Randy Orton, with his newly found friends, healthy injury healed and a new found following, he will win the 2009 Royal Rumble and with the following he has will win the title.
Other than that...it's 4pm, I am out of here...see you in 2009.

Superstar(s) of the Year: The Miz and John Morrison- my reasoning behind this is because this tag team is the only tag team worth typing about. These two have been through so much. John Morrison was a Tough Enough winner and, like American Idol, people were getting tired of all of the winners and not giving them the time of day. Do you remember Maven? Didn't think so. Johnny Nitro came in and was a "flash in the pan." Then he was teamed with MNM, which was a great gimmick and won countless titles. Soon he broke from MNM and went solo. Here is where the respect for him came in. He took Chris Benoit's place for the ECW title match. They booed, he overcame, they still booed and even when he beat CM Punk, they hated him even more. Now as John Morrison he has become one of the greats. I did like the hint of becoming the next Shawn Michaels. I see greater things for him in 2009, maybe even saving Micahels in a match to turn him face.
The Miz is even a bigger story. Think about yourself as a child dreaming of what you wanted to be when you grew up. I wanted to be an astronaut. That didnt happen. But with Mike Mizanin, his dream did come true. He was on the Real World stating that it was a dream to be a WWE wrestler. He paraded around the house as "The Miz" and wrestled everyone, despite their snickers and behind-the-back negative comments of immaturity. When he popped up at the last attempt at a Tough Enough I was freaking out that he was there and that he was living the dream. I voted for him a lot but he lost out to Daniel Pewter (Spelling not withstanding, he didn't last too long for me to even remember how). Then he became the "Host" of Smackdown and then a wrestler. How cool is that? He had a dream and went for it and now he is a multiple tag team champion. It also is a plus that he is from Parma (Cleveland, OH area) and I am from Cuyahoga Falls. I was at Unforgiven when he was in the scramble and rooted for him to at least get a pin fall (that didnt happen) but I am extremely proud for him. The ultimate for me was to see him have an action figure. I ran over to my wife to show her that Miz action figure and said, "I wonder if he is freaking out that he is an action figure now?" I mean going from a no one with a dream to a Tag Team Champion? Way to go Miz.

Hey gang! I noticed that I haven't written an entry since October 15th. Well here is what I've been thinking...
1. Fan Nation-Out, WWE Universe-In: Okay, I like the idea but Fans are what we are. Not sure why this was changed but I heard Vince McMahon hates the word fan. It's his company. Let him do what he wishes.
2. All these "future endeavor" notices have popped up. Here hoping they let Deuce join Cody and Manu. He IS Jimmy Snuka's son.
3. Kung Fu Naki? Really?
4. MVP needs help.
5. Khali kiss cam? Really? That is how to turn a heel who can't wrestle into a face who can't wrestle? really? Still dislike the guy.
6. Evan Bourne, get well soon.
7. Best match of the year goes to Jeff hardy vs. The Undertaker. I am glad to see a new side of Jeff. He waas getting stale. Maybe this "darker face" will win that title.
8. Vladimir Kozlov...I want this guy to say "I will break you."
9. Orton vs. Jericho would be amazing to see.
10. If Cena beats Jericho after his first match back, I may not watch any more. I like the guy but I like what they are doing with Jericho. Too bad Michaels/Jericho ended. I liked that feud.
11. Triple H will be champion for a long time with the talent on Smackdown.
12. The Brian Kendrick is great. Did anyone notice this TBK=HBK and Michaels was the one who trained him.
13. Ezekel Jackson=Diesel? Anyone?
14. I called the Brie Bella twin thing in her first match. They are both hot.
15. My favorite non-wrestling Diva is Eve HANDS DOWN. Look at her eyes...takes the breath away.
