It's been a while since I blogged :) Just thought I'd share my predictions before the show tonight!
Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly and Melina (c) vs Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Michelle McCool (c) - Team Raw vs Team Smackdown
I'm surprised/glad to see Natalya in this match, rather than Mickie. Hopefully something builds between the Smackdown divas. I'm also feeling pretty happy with the brand situations now, both have a good mixture of talent and beauty. Raw has Gail Kim, Melina and Jillian with the stronger wrestling talent, and still has stunning girls who aren't as good in the ring. Smackdown has Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Mickie and McCool, all accomplished female wrestlers, and Layla and Maria compliment them in being beautiful, but not as developed in the ring. I just think it's all a good mix lol.
Winners: Beth Phoenix, Natalya and Michelle McCool (Team Smackdown)
John Morrison (Intercontinental Champion) vs The Miz (United States Champion) - Champion vs Champion
I enjoyed the 'Dirt Sheet' the other week on Smackdown, reuniting these two and hyping the match a little. In my opinion, both guys are talented, but I always found The Miz more entertaining on the mic and his personality and character was always more developed. John Morrison has turned into pretty much a spot monkey since his face turn, but hey, the kids love it =P lol, and his mic skills are awful as a face in my view. I like him, but there's a definite awkwardness about him now. I'm kinda expecting Morrison to win this, though I'm much more of a Mizfit.
Winner: John Morrison
Randy Orton (c) vs John Cena - Anything Goes 60 Minute Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship
I absolutely LOVED the promo on Raw for this, highlighting their feud. Honestly, I'm gonna get my hopes up for this. It's an iron man match, those things aren't just tossed around, it has to be big and they need to go all out with this. I wanna be jumping out of my seat, cheering, booing, that kinda thing lol. So the stipulation is, if Cena loses, he must leave Raw. Personally, I'd like to see him on SD, but Raw will be at a huge loss imo. Cena is like their biggest star. Without him, it'll just be DX, Orton, Legacy...Although it could give the whole Orton/Ted thing a chance to grow, and I'd like that. Cena on ECW? Imagine that lol. It'd be a good ratings boost, but I don't think WWE is willing to put their biggest star on the brand no one cares for. I'm really not sure who's gonna win...I think I'll go with Cena, though I'm rooting for Orton just because I want Cena on SD :)
Winner and New WWE Champion: John Cena
The Undertaker (c) vs CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio vs Batista - Fatal Four Way for the World Heavyweight Championship
I don't really care about this match. IMO, they totally messed up with Punk/Taker. I expected something fresh, something exciting...Instead it's turned into some lame thing with Teddy Long. Hardly gripping television lol. And what did Rey/Batista do to earn a spot? I was hoping they'd continue fighting for the tag titles tbh, both guys aren't worthy of a WHC run yet. Rey did drugs, and suddenly he's back and getting a bunch of title shots?!? Gee, where have I heard that one before :P lol, that annoys me though, how a guy who broke the company policy is now pushed for the world championship. Where is the sense in that, please? lol. I'm expecting either Undertaker or Punk to win, but just watch me be wrong :( lol.
Winner and Still World Heavyweight Champion: The Undertaker
Triple H, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston vs Chris Jericho, Kane, R-Truth, Finlay, David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd and Matt Hardy - 7 on 7 Tag Team Match (Team Raw vs Team Smackdown)
I'm not overly excited about this either. Idk, it just seems kinda pointless. Raw doesn't even have a full-time GM, and it would've been better imo if they had more GM involvement. It'll just be DX 'bragging' to Jerishow, or vice versa, or something lol. Then what? Brand war or something? Cause this is a yearly PPV, so are we just gonna get a brand vs brand war every year? lol idk, it just seems kinda silly, the whole concept really, when one of the brands has no GM, and the other is left totally in the dark. Still, I'm hoping for a good match all the same. They've hyped this up quite a bit so people have a right to get their hopes up. I'm just curious what will come from it all, lol. This has been a wacky year for trades and things, there's no consistency with it, it's like switching random people all the time, making the whole draft pretty darn pointless, seeing how some of the stars drafted have ended up elsewhere on various brands since. I'm not even sure who's gonna win, but I'm pulling for Team SD.
Winners: Wait and see cause I've got no clue :P
There you have it :) Hope everyone has a fabulous Halloween! :D

[General]
Just a random blog cause I'm very bored :P
I haven't seen Raw yet, though I heard it was a good show this week. I can't wait for Trish next week, yeah, we see her alot but I don't care, it's Trish :D lol, I've always been a big fan of hers.
Onto Breaking Point, it looks ok to me. I like submission matches and I hope we can see some entertaining stuff. Morrison is the IC Champ, and I think he and Ziggler can have a good match. :) I'm kind of disappointed in Rey tbh, for someone with a big fanbase like him (most especially kids too), only to ruin his reputation like that by taking such a stupid and pathetic risk. It happens, but it shouldn't.
Nice to see 'The Glamazon' back. Well, she never left :P lol, but I'm glad Beth is doing what she does best again, and that's kicking butt.
I'm enjoying Smackdown, even with the loss of two of it's most decorated stars, Edge and Jeff Hardy, it's still in top form. It leaves a nice gap that needs filling in the main event spot, and I think many guys are capable of doing that, such as Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison, etc. It should be nice to see how it survives without the two, for now. You still have CM Punk, Undertaker, Jerishow, and some excellent and entertaining matches. It's really proven to be the top brand this year. Everything is much more entertaining and well-rounded than Raw. ECW has wrestling, but Smackdown combines both entertainment AND wrestling, I just don't find ECW all that interesting, I can't just blame WWE....Well, I can lol. They hardly give anyone a reason to care, I mean, just look at the ECW Title 'match' at Summerslam. They put on matches like that, and yet people wonder why ECW has awful ratings. It's obvious WWE could care as much as most of the fans these days.
It's cool seeing WWE sign some ROH stars. I've heard great things about Nigel McGuiness, and Bryan Danielson is amazing. I'd love to see where they go in the WWE, hopefully used to the best of their incredible abilites. I hope ROH doesn't die out though, but I doubt it because there's plenty of new talent coming, and some older talent going and moving onto bigger projects. It's just a circle that we all should expect.
Anyway, I'm just loving my life at the moment. :) Everything seems to be going well and school is good so far, even though it's only been a few days lol. My birthday next month btw, I expect gifts ;) :P
I really enjoyed Summerslam this year. I thought it was much better than last year's, seeing how last year there was only one very good match, the rest either sucked, or were just there. This year, however, there were only two matches I saw fault in.
Rey Mysterio def. Dolph Ziggler, to retain the Intercontinental Championship
I thought this was a great way to open the show. The crowd seemed very into it, and Dolph seemed to be put over very well, even though he lost. It had some cool moments, and the constant pin attempts kept you on your feet. Rey is great to watch in the ring, and I think tonight, Dolph proved he is worthy of being in the ring with someone of Rey's caliber. I thought it was a fun match, and I wasn't expecting it to open the show, but it was definitely the better choice. Both men put on their best efforts, and it was one of my favourite match-ups of the night. Unfortunatley for Dolph, Rey proved victorious and is still the IC Champion, so that's one prediction I failed to get right =P A nice match, and a good length.
Rating: 7.5/10
MVP def. Jack Swagger
This match was just...there, for me at least. I wasn't very entertained by it, although both are talented guys, I think this was a match more suited to Raw, rather than the 2nd biggest PPV of the year. Still, it was ok, nothing awful, but nothing you should worry about to see. I did like the little interview beforehand though, at least it sort of explained why the two are feuding, having the whole 'Culture Clash.' I guess that's ok, and I like how they're portraying Swagger as the rich, spoilt jock-type. Anyway, a pretty forgettable match, with what seemed like a rushed ending to me.
Rating: 4/10
Chris Jericho & The Big Show def. Cryme Tyme, to retain the Unfied Tag Team Titles
I really liked this match. They were given alot of time to put on something good, something entertaining, and all men did and really looked like they gave everything. Cryme Tyme seemed to shine here, they weren't just dead and buried, and both teams got the offense throughout, instead of it being a one-sided thing. Another nice promo before the match, Jericho always sounds so intelligent lol. Their new theme isn't bad, at least it shows they're going to be around as a team for a while. One of the better tag team matches I've seen in a long time, and for me, JTG really stood out. Jericho and Show are a great team, I don't think this would've worked with Edge, I just can't really imagine him being in this type of feud. I hope to see more of this from both teams though, it was a nice match, pretty long and the fans were definitely into Cryme Tyme. Jericho and Show still have the gold around their waists :)
Rating: 7.5/10
Kane def. The Great Khali
My biggest issue of the night, is that this snorefest got more time than what could've been a great match, between Regal and Christian. These two big guys attempting to mat wrestle was like...ugh, just get it over with lol. I am a Kane fan though, I'm glad he won, but it was just a very lame match which went on far too long. Not much else to say really. =P
Rating: 1/10
D-Generation X def. The Legacy
Another very nice tag match here. I think it went on just a little too long, but it was still fun to watch and had some cool moments. DX's entrance was pretty insane, it kept the crowd alive and was really fun and different. Now, Legacy might not have won, but that doesn't mean DX 'buried' them. I think Legacy got put over pretty damn well, and you can rarely say that when HHH is involved. I mean, HBK I think it was, got hit with both of Legacy's finishers, and Legacy were always there wherever DX turned. They're really going to be big, I can feel it. They proved capable of being in the ring with such legends like Triple H & HBK, and not many people can say that. Props to Legacy in this one. :) DX, of course, took the win and hey, how can you not love these guys? They're entertaining and fun to watch in the ring. I was expecting more 'comedy' moments, but I'm glad we got to see a nice, solid wrestling match, where both teams busted their @sses.
Rating: 7/10
Christian def. William Regal, to retain the ECW Championship
Blah, I'm not even going to comment much on this lol. I was just expecting a showstealing match, which, if given time instead of Khali/Kane, we could've gotten. This is the reason no one cares about ECW. Let's just face it, no one wants to watch it these days, and with damn good reason, WWE aren't exactly making people care. With matches like this, it's hardly a surprise ECW is so forgotten, which is a shame really, it has some great wrestling. Let's hope they don't pull a mistake like this again. Nice beatdown afterwards though, I'm loving Regal/Zeke/Kozlov. :)
Rating: 0.5/10 (The .5 being for the beatdown)
Randy Orton def. John Cena, to retain the WWE Championship
Well, this was crazy lol. The actual match began pretty nicely, nothing too exciting, just what you'd sort of expect. Then Orton gets disqualified. The match restarts. Orton gets counted out. The match restarts again. Fan runs in. Orton hits the RKO. The end. I just really don't get the point of all that. Why not just have a fun match instead of having all that crazy stuff happen? If that fan run in was set-up, then expect to see who's behind it tonight on Raw, so there's something exciting to look forward to I guess. Maybe they did all that because, without it, the match wouldn't be memorable enough, it'd just be a typical Orton/Cena match, with nothing 'exciting' actually happening in between. The wrestling itself was decent, it wasn't what I thought we'd be seeing though.
Rating: 5/10
CM Punk def. Jeff Hardy, to become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion
Really loved this match! I had to watch on repeat because I fell asleep last night lol. It was 3am, leave me alone :P Lol, anyway it was a great match. Not the most insane spots all the time, but when there were spots, they were pulled off very well. I liked the Swanton off the ladder, that was pretty sick. Funny how it hurts Jeff more than Punk though =P lol, so if this is Jeff's last match, good luck to him in whatever he chooses to do. I loved the promo before it, the song was really cool lol, it sounds like Buckcherry to me. Feud of the year so far in my eyes. But I think everyone's favourite moment was after the match, where we saw the return of The Undertaker :D I'm happy to see him back, this brings new competition for Punk now in the main event scene, and I'm really excited for the feud. Woo! Lol, can't wait for SD. That's what a good match should do, it should make you excited to see what happens next. This was great, I loved it. :)
Rating: 9/10
One of my favourite moments throughout this whole thing, was Punk's promo backstage. I loved what he said, it was just so gripping lol. Punk is seriously awesome, and he deserves to be a main event guy. :)
So yep, loved Summerslam tbh. If you haven't seen it, you need to just for the last match, it was great. You Gotta Move wasn't a bad theme either. I have a feeling WWE will get better from now on. :)
I'm a little late with my predicitions, but oh well lol. I'm not that excited for Summerslam this year, at least compared to last year, but I'm sure I will be like an hour before it starts lol. So let's get on with the blog :P
Jack Swagger vs MVP
This could be a good match, but I'm not sure why it's on here yet. The build-up....what build-up? I just don't like seeing matches with no reason being on here. The fans can't get into it if it's just so randomly there, and that's how this feels. I'm expecting the crowd to be dead, unless anything remotely interesting happens, which idk lol. MVP is really starting to irritate me as a face, he's corny, and becoming pretty boring. I'm still a fan, and I've given it a chance and it's doing nothing for him. I thought he'd be the one main eventing by now, or at least coming close to it, but no, he's still working the same mid-card matches, while we get the same old main events. Anyway, I think MVP will take this.
Winner: MVP
The Great Khali vs Kane
Blah. Instead of this cr@pfest, we could've had Mickie James vs Gail Kim (Instead of the controversial encounter on Raw), which could've been very good. I'm not overly bothered we didn't get a divas match, but why must we be forced to sit through this sh*t? No one cares about the feud, and the match....if you dare to call it that....will suck lol. I think it'll be like a 2 second thing, or hopefully at least, like Matt vs Mark Henry last year, which was just....awful lol. But this has a right to be awful, and I'm really not expecting even a 3 star match from these two. Khali takes the win.
Winner: The Great Khali
Chris Jericho and The Big Show (c) vs Cryme Tyme, for the Unified Tag Team Championship
I'm actually expecting a good match here, or at least decent. I think it'll get good time. I like Cryme Tyme, JTG being the better of the two I believe, but I'm loving 'Jerishow' together. I just think they could be really dominant, and Big Show deserves more credit than he's getting. I'm not keen on Cryme Tyme winning a title, or Jerishow losing their's just yet, but I'm not really sure who will take this. I'm hoping Jerishow, as I can't see Cryme Tyme with titles around their waists, and they'll be treated like a joke. Although, it is nice to see these two still around, I thought they'd be dead and buried after the draft, so that's pretty cool with me. I used to be a big fan but they're just not doing anything for me anymore. Hmm, I'm gonna go with Jerishow on this one.
Winners and Still Unified Tag Team Champions: Chris Jericho & Big Show
Christian (c) vs William Regal, for the ECW Championship
Gosh, I am so excited for this! I'm just so happy to see my boy Regal in a world title match :D Yes, I do class the ECW title as a world title, it may not be as publicized as the other world titles, but it's still one of the main titles worth fighting for. Now, I know Regal probably won't win, but I think in a few months, after the thing with he and Kozlov grows and their dominance heats up, he could really have a shot. Although, hell, he might even win tonight, and I will mark so....so bad. :) I really believe Regal is one of the best wrestlers WWE has today, and since going to ECW, he's been much better off. And not to mention, he's from my home country, so I gotta show him some love :P But besides all that, this could be a great, great match. Both are very talented in-ring wrestlers, and both have the skills to put a showstealing match. This could really be the dark horse for match of the night, if given the chance.
Winner and Still ECW Champion: Christian
Rey Mysterio (c) vs Dolph Ziggler, for the Intercontinental Championship
I'm a big fan of both guys, and I, like alot of people, believe Dolph has a bright future ahead of him. He's pretty good in the ring in my eyes, and has the charisma to be a champion. I think he gains pretty good heat, cause he's just plain annoying at times lol. But yes, he could totally pull off being a champion. Rey on the other hand, I think he's holding a title simply to prove he's secure with the company, as he doesn't have alot of time left in him, it's obvious. He's a worthy champion though, one of my favourite high-flyers of all time. I think this will be a good match regardless of who wins, and their match at NOC wasn't too bad. I like how Rey has the pride of a champion, you can see he loves doing what he does, and I respect him alot, but I have a little feeling Dolph will win. I'm not sure what I want from this, whether it's too early to give Ziggler the title...Hmm, I still think he'll sneak one in on this. They could do something good with Maria, also, and have her maybe help Dolph win the match, thus turning heel. It'll be interesting to see if she could pull that off.
Winner and New Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler
Jeff Hardy (c) vs CM Punk, for the World Heavyweight Championship - TLC Match
I am looking forward to this match, as TLC is my personal favourite match style. I know we should all move on, but I can't get over the fact Jeff Hardy went from some cr@ppy jobber in the WWF, to being one half of the greatest tag teams of all time, and now, to World Champion. It's crazy. I really don't think he has the qualities a champion should posess and I see those as; Skill, Charisma, Passion. Passion...Hmm, maybe, but he doesn't seem like the company means much to him anymore, I just get that vibe watching him. Skill? Jeff is hardly the best wrestler on the Smackdown roster, not even close, and yet he's the one holding the title. Charisma? Yes, he gets over with the fans, but not because he can work the microphone well. All he does is shout, or say the same old thing. He just isn't world championship material, to me. Punk on the other hand, is. I'm loving him as a heel right now, preaching his morals while no one listens, I'm so happy he's being pushed as a top guy. There are people who should be moving up, and people who should stick to what their best at. That, for Jeff, is tag team wrestling. I personally would love Matt Hardy as world champion, but as a face, he's boring, he brings nothing to the table, which is why a Hardy reunion, it could be good. Just get the title off Jeff, please. I'm not sure if he'll leave or not tonight, but he better put on the match of his life, because it could very well be his last. And I'm also expecting some interference here, whether from Matt, Morrison, the Dynasty...There's alot of ways this could go. I see Punk taking the win, and gaining back what is rightfully his.
Winner and New WHC: CM Punk
Randy Orton (c) vs John Cena, for the WWE Championship
Ahh, how sweet it is not to see Triple H's name and the word 'Championship' in the same sentence. I am looking forward to this, I always enjoy Orton/Cena matches. I'm really crossing my fingers that Super Cena doesn't strike here, but with DX/Legacy rumoured to go on last, it must kind of hint the heel wins, the heel being Orton lol. So I'm kind of just guessing Orton will win, but you never know. I've been enjoying the buildup on Raw, I guess, but it doesn't compare with the Punk/Jeff build-up. Still, I see the crowd being very into this, and Orton is doing a good job as champion. I'm not sure where they'll go with this though, like, what we'll see at Breaking Point, but let's just hope for a good, solid match from these two.
Winner and Still WWE Champion: Randy Orton
D-Generation X vs The Legacy
It's amazing to see Legacy finally main eventing a PPV, this time without being Orton's backup. And of course, I'm excited for DX. I just love them, I don't care if it's been done 20234958670 times, they rock my socks :P lol, and I love how it keeps HHH out of the title picture. So yeah, I'd like to see Legacy win and have DX put them over, but who am I kidding? lol, of course DX will win, but hopefully it should still be a good match. The crowd is gonna be alive and kickin' for this, lol. So yeah, not much else to say, DX takes the win.
Winners: DX
So yep, I'm hoping it's a good show. The return of DX, TLC and Regal vs Christian, are the matches I'm most looking forward too, and Cena/Orton should be good too. I've just got two words for ya.......
I think I'll post some random moments and matches lol :P
Enjoy :)
I think the Smackdown Women's Division is pretty good right now. Besides the fact Michelle recently suffered a minor injury (or at least minor from what I heard), which isn't very good considering she's the champion. Melina looks so bare without the title, and I'm sure Maryse will when she returns from injury. Get well soon, Maryse and Michelle.
I kinda miss Umaga lol. I was really shocked to see him go, but hey, if he violated the wellness policy then it's only fair he gets the goodbye. He was very underrated though, and I just found this match on YT lol, so here you go. :P
Lol I remember this. Again, just another thing I found on YT :P It's amazing how times change in just a few years. I mean, we don't really get interviews like this anymore, or we do but it doesn't make me laugh or excited for the match. The main events just aren't as exciting anymore.
I think we'll be getting a DX Reunion once HBK makes his return. I'm not overly excited, but maybe it'll bring some actual comedy and entertainment back to Raw, that is, if it happens. :P
Candice has been gone over a month now, and looking back at her best days, I do kinda miss her. Although, at this point, her being on the roster really wouldn't have made much of an impact. The divas division is lacking alot of things, but even back in the 'Golden Era,' there was room for improvement, as with everything in my eyes. It's not the lack of talent, it's the lack of storylines, and I don't blame people for not caring lol.
I really really hope Shelton becomes ECW Champion soon. He's one of, if not the best pure athlete in the WWE right now. He's been deserving a world title shot for ages, and hopefully, with the move to ECW, he can finally get what he so deserves, and that is a World Championship run. :)
