I feel like just blogging about random things in the WWE right now. It'll probably be pretty long, just warning ya lol :P
Candice Michelle
As pretty much everyone knows by now, Candice Michelle has finally been released by the WWE. I was shocked at first, but I just found it funny how chaotic things got in the forums lol. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Candice and she has my complete respect, but her time was really up. Once you go through that many consecutive injuries, there's really no going back. She was never going to be the old 2007 Candice everyone loved. Not at all. It was a very bad injury, and I truly understand that it takes a long time to become 100%, but there's just no room for Candice anymore. She's taking up space. One thing I loved about her though, was her shining passion. It was clear to everyone that she'd made WWE her life, especially during her Championship run in '07. To go from Playboy, Go Daddy girl to a WWE diva who has proven herself and has become a pretty good wrestler, and then to Women's Champ, now that is one achievement. Candice should be proud of what she accomplished during her 5 year run, and I think it's made her a completely different, stronger person. To cope with injuries like that time and time again, you have to become stronger in the mind. However, there is no one else to blame for her release except Candice herself. She's the one who got injured, and you can't just blame Beth Phoenix for this. It was an accident, and it wasn't meant to happen. Candice was a good wrestler in the ring, and she did have potential, but the injuries held her back. Basically, the same issue with Mr Kennedy. She brought it all on herself. In a world like this, you might have potential, charisma, fans, but if injuries are gonna hold you back, there's really no other choice.
My best wishes go out to Candice, and I wish her the best of luck in whatever she chooses to do. :)
From Model...
...To Diva...
...To Champion.
A true fighter. Best of luck Candice :)
Onto something else, I'd like to talk about the flagship show, Monday Night Raw.
Raw
Where to start, eh? Lol :P Raw went from my favourite brand, the top show, to just a big joke. Let's break it down:
Segments:
Raw is just filled with segments! Thing is though, they could at least be good segments, but no, they're not funny and they're just a waste of time. Just the random stuff with Goldust, etc, it's not funny. I wouldn't mind if I was actually entertained by these random segements, but yeah, they're a complete waste of everyone's time. I'd rather see a solid, midcard match in the time all 50 billion segments take up on Raw. It's just a little irritating thing which lessens the quality of Raw.
Storylines:
Now, this whole Orton/HHH thing; One word - BORING!
It's really, really old. Raw has some new, exciting talent, such as MVP, Matt Hardy, The Brian Kendrick, and I personally believe those guys (or at least MVP and Matt :P) are totally worthy of main event status, working with the bigger guys in bigger matches. MVP will probably be up there by the end of the year, but why aren't they doing anything now? No, instead we get some stupid thing with Goldust and Hornswoggle, and MVP and Matt are pretty much being wasted or not being pushed in the right direction. Kofi Kingston is another guy who should and will be main eventing soon. But these old, washed-up storylines...they're exactly that: OLD. They make the whole show boring and just drag on. Raw is just recycled feuds. And Ric Flair...my god can he PUH-LEASE GTFO?! :D I love the guy, but he retired last year, TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHT, which means he should no longer be on my TV screen!! So yeah, boring storylines, and quite frankly, boring old men too :P
Divas:
The problem here is...there is no storyline. It's not a good, working storyline without decent promo time and backstage segments. It's just: 'Maryse comes out and looks pretty. Mickie wins. They stare down. Boom, a feud.'
Seriously, that's it, lol. The matches are too short and like I said, they need decent promo time, that means no crappy backstage thing with The Bellas or whoever, instead, make Maryse or Mickie cut a promo about one another. Y'know, hype it up. Just fighting the same people over and over again without reason isn't a good feud. And it just bothers me.
Also, push Jillian. :) I'm not even gonna go into that lol.
Midcard Talent:
I think I briefly mentioned this before. But yeah, the midcard guys; Kendrick, Noble, Chavo, MVP, Matt Hardy, William Regal, Kofi Kingston, Goldust, Festus, Santino. That's pretty much your batch of midcard guys on Raw. That's a pretty good choice of guys if you ask me. Kendrick, Noble, Chavo, Matt, MVP...Hell, they're all talented guys. So what's the problem, you might ask? Well, the matches. They're just jokes. I know, Goldust, Festus, Kendrick...they add humour to their characters, make the match a little more interesting, but they might aswell just come out dressed as frickin clowns. The whole match is just humour, humour, humour. Sorry, attempted humour. Because I don't laugh really, except @ Kendrick, who just has that funny buzz about him. But yeah, these guys deserve a good amount of time, and to be involved in serious matches. When it comes to the feud or storyline, I'm not saying it needs to be serious. But coming down to the matches, the humour could be toned down and the time could be extended. Just something that annoys me, seeing talent wasted.
Tag Teams:
People complain out the Women's Division. Have you seen the tag division?! Lol, I guess it's starting to step up though, with The Hart Dynasty, Priceless, etc. We're getting some cool tag teams and hopefully some awesome feuds. Hart Dynasty have a huge future, same with Priceless, so I'm expecting big things. But yeah, the issue is the crowd just aren't into it. It's like dead whenever you hear about tag teams. And yes, I blame the writers, and the booking. The matches themselves aren't that bad, could be a little longer, but yeah, they're ok. But there's no storylines, and the tag belts need some prestige back into them. Which is why I can't wait for Priceless to win them. :D
Predictability (sp?) lol:
It's the same thing every week. Crappy diva match, Miz promo, Kendrick and Horny do something, Orton oversells a move, Triple H returns bah gawd skittles VINTAGE WWE!!! VIPER!!!111, etc.
You get the point.
And there's my Raw rant. :) The only thing I like about Raw right now is probably this thing with Donald Trump, just to see where it goes.
Peace out =)
xoxoxoxo

Putting MVP in the main event scene is too early.
"tђє gσℓ๔ ร...Orton oversells a move? lolwut... I think you're talking about HBK or guys on Smackdown having to sell a crappy Hardy bomb.
I don't see what's a bit different on SD! If you look at it, different matches, yes but some of them are the same. Just look, Edge comes out, complains, whines whatever you wanna call it, gets a title shot, win or not at the PPV. Ziggler vs Khali, it's entertaining though. When you see Shelton, Charlie Haas comes out, you know they're gonna lose. Sad fact. If John Morrison is in a match facing a mid-card talent, look for him win. Easy to predict. McCool and Melina staredown. Chris Jericho talks on the mic. Jeff Hardy shouts on the mic when he talks. I love the matches that SD! have produced though.
