    missing Night of Champions

Sunday, June 29, 2008, 12:37 PM CST [General]

I was so excited, so happy. I was all set to attend my very FIRST Pay-Per_view event, oh sure I have bought them before. I have attended live events before, but this, this was gonna be so different. Like actually attending a SuperBowl, an NBA Championship, A World Cup match. That's how excited I was. That's how much WWE means to me. The best entertainment for my money.

Unforutnate tragic events in my personal life chnaged all that. First I missed last Monday night's 3 hour Raw. I missed the draft. So much happened I feel lost. Then I HAD to release my tickets at the AAC  for "Night of Champions". They got a good home, my buddy is going. I GAVE the tickets away I didn't sell them. I was too heartbroken. I was actually in Abilene Texas where a house show was being held the night BEFORE "Night of Champions" in Dallas. I was/am too heartbroken to attend.

I do not know what the future will be or what it holds for me. To all my friends and supporters, take care, I do not know when I will the pleasure of your internet company. All I ask is you enjoy WWE for me.

    For now, good bye

    06/09/08 RAW brings disappointment

Wednesday, June 11, 2008, 09:17 AM CST [General]

Well, I , like so many MILLIONS of WWE fans watched as Mr. McMahon gave away   ONE MILLION  of his own dollars to lucky WWE fans (not so lucky, one fan from Keller TX only got $2) this last monday night (June 9,2008)

I must say I was disappointed by the broadcast. In what way might you ask ?

It  COULD  have been the fact I didn't win anything - I know, I know , join the club. But no that wasn't it.

It COULD have been watching Charlie Haas getting to kiss the very attarctive Maria on live national cable television, but that's could be called jealousy and since Mr. Haas also had to endure being groped by Mae Young as well, I can honestly say that wasn't it either.

Could it have been the matches, perhaps? The matches were good and entertaining as I expect them to be. Live from Oakland California. I enjoed the matches, even the John Cena - JBL match. I got very interested when HHH leg swiped Cena ( John Cena should really know better thn to antagonize the Game)

Wich brings me to the final two matches of the evening. The tag team match between CrymeTyne against  Carlito (one of my personal favorite superstars) and Santino Marella. Then the main event which pitted Matt Hardy versus Triple H.. I did NOT enjoy those matches.

WHY do you say ? Do I hear how great those matches were?  I wouldn't know - - - -  my freaking cable went out for the next THREE hours. I didn't get to see anything, I had assauge my disappointment by checking out the spoiler sites.

    But I was still disappointed.

    The best part of WWE

You can argue who your favorite WWE Superstar is til you turn blue in the face, but I admit, I tune in to see the hottest sports entertainers ever.

    Owen Hart NINE years later

Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 10:37 AM CST [General]

wow, Monday Night RAW eminated from Kemper Arena in Kansas City Missouri. AFTER the May Pay Per View. . Nine years (not quite from the exact date, but a few days off) and from the venue, WWE held the Oer The Edge PPV..

Kemper Arena, Kansas City, Missouri. A great Superstar while trying to entertain us,  the WWE fans, lost his life. I didn't feel well that night nine years ago so I did NOT see the PPV "Over The Edge" but when I awoke Monday May 24, 1999 and heard the trrrible news on the radio. I was hoping that the radio statio was playing a joke (in poor taste) but a joke. They weren't.

I'd like to take a moment to remember the great Owen Hart. He is STILL missed.

    non-wrestling hockey blog

Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 01:45 PM CST [General]

Well in a non-wrestling blog, John Cena was on Raw last night. Joe Louis Arena, detroit Michigan. touting that Detroit was "Hockey Town" well I say SCREW "Hockey Town" ! Screw the Detroit RedWings !!!

Maybe that's too extreme. It's not the RedWings fault the Dallas Stars aren't up to their level. They lost game 1 in Detroit 4 - 1. They then lost game 2 in Detroit but by a closer 2 - 1 score. Here I was hoping a return to Dallas would change things. But long before Raw came on USA Network, The Detroit RedWings pretty much owned the Dallas Stars over on VS. I didn't bother to see the rest of the game as Raw went on the air. No I am not a fair weather fan, I had seen enough to know Dallas wasn't coming back. They didn't. They lost 5 - 2.

Game 4 is tomorroow night. VS. was running a promo for a possible game 5 to be televised by NBC. I hope NBC has some counter programming otherwise they will be broadcasting dead air.

I am still pulling for Dallas, but I have doubts. All I can say is the I hope whoever wins the NHL Eastern Confernece finals (whether it be the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Philadelphia Flyers) will have a celebration in Pennslyvania.
