WrestleMania or Bust! We aren't making anymore rest stops now!

Monday, March 2, 2009, 12:16 PM EST [General]

Greetings! Relax and sit back and read more of the small town Georgia boy's thoughts! Well the two stops at the beginning of the year on the road to WrestleMania have come and gone. It's straight onward to big one without making anymore rest stops, folks! The card is already starting to develop ( More developed from my perspective due to some predictions. )

Last week on Raw we had our very first Money in the Bank qualifying match which was one to remember! A Triple threat match between the World Tag Team Champions Miz and Morrison against each other and also against Our Intercontinental Champion and TWO TIME Money in the Bank Competitor plus one time winner CM Punk! This match was amazing. I enjoyed it. This was the second straight time Miz and Morrison were facing each other to qualify for this match, plus CM Punk's third time. And wouldn't you know it? CM Punk is now participating in his THIRD straight WrestleMania and in the same match! This is where Punk shines. He poured it on at the last two and finally won it last year. 2008 sure was his year and perhaps 2009 might be his next big one? We'll never know!

Randy has officially made it personal with the WWE Champion Triple H by RKO-ing Stephanie. So Randy now has no choice in which title he will be battling for come WrestleMania because The Game has his eyes set on destroying Orton. But the stips of the Royal Rumble will have to come into play as he will also have to defend the title.

Plus Cena has his rematch clause still in effect and has been gunning for Edge starting last week. On Raw, then on Smackdown! He keeps getting denied the rematch so I'm guessing they'll hold it off until WrestleMania. With these predictions set, this will be the first time that both major championships will be decided as interpromotional contests at WrestleMania. Edge vs. Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship and Orton vs. HHH for the WWE Championship. I'm also hoping they'll have a big match for the ECW title as well.

Also this was confirmed, Jericho wanting to face Mickey Rourke at WrestleMania. And along his own personal road to the big one he's been disgracing former Hall of Famers and new additions as well. His latest one being Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Congrats to Ricky for making it into the Hall of Fame. He's definitely earned it. Who can forget the rivalry between him and Ric Flair in WCW? Or when he battled "Macho Man" Randy Savage for the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania III in front of 93,000 fans?! He's damn sure earned his place and I couldn't be prouder. Plus also the Funk Twins. Being inducted by none other than Dusty Rhodes.

Hope to see the Universe tonight on the live blog! Developers of the Legends of WrestleMania video game will be on tonight! So I'll be there. I'd love to get my hands on a copy of this game. I could get a crash course of history if I could! So tune in to Raw tonight and i'll see you on the Live Blog!

The "Road Out" was a trecherous path.

Sunday, February 15, 2009, 11:06 PM EST [General]

Greetings from the small town Georgia Boy! Well tonight kicked off in a way I was definitely not expecting. The WWE Champtionship Elimination Match started off tonight and I was amazed! The best part was that Edge was the first one eliminated and by the one he started off with no less. Jeff Hardy! Jeff took it to Edge and had him eliminated before any other competitor left their chamber. I gotta give Jeff his dues. I just feel awful that he didn't win the match.

Let's just cut to the chase. Overall tonight was another FLOP. I'm happy Triple H won for the 13th time and same with HBK beating JBL but Orton beating Shane and Edge knocking Kofi out to take his spot in the final Chamber match to steal the World Heavyweight Championship! AGAIN! Just like 3 years ago at New Year's Revolution. He sneaks his way into the chamber to steal the title. I've had it with this guy, seriously. Edge has broken the last straw. What's going to happen now you may wonder? I don't know. I'm just fed up with Edge. This Ultimate Opportunist schtick of his has been a thorn in my side for too long.

And with Jack Swagger also being another utter annoyance, beat Finlay to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. He's got two losses on his belt so far and I'm hoping his next won will cost him the title. I'm fed up with that Retarded Joker Grin of a man. He's not worthy of a title, or this "All-American American" name he's given himself. He's just an All American CHUMP.

I was hoping Shane would've had his match in the bag. He even staved off Legacy and was about to finish Orton off but he managed to get an RKO on him out of nowhere to beat him. Whomever he targets to face at WrestleMania isn't safe I'm afraid. He'll have Legacy on his side to try and steal the title. Well if he chooses to face Edge for the World Heavyweight Title then I could care less on who wins. They both suck. But to be honest I'd rather have Edge keep it. Orton with the way he's been actiong is a deluted fool, using DISORDERS as a stupid excuse to attack Vince and the other McMahons. Whatever goes down at WrestleMania this year better be something very groundbreaking.

As for HBK I'm glad he's free of that fool JBL. His wife got a front row seat to JBL's beating and even got a hit in! LOL! I was so pleased to take note of this. And I'm glad that he's free and can be the Heart Break Kid we all know and love once again! Congratulations! For those of who along with me that were in the Live Blog tonight. It was great. This is the Small Town Georgia Boy signing off!

Closing in. Backed into a corner! NO WAY OUT!

Saturday, February 14, 2009, 10:44 PM EST [General]

We are less than 24 hours away from what will be a groundbreaking last stop on the way to WrestleMania 25! WWE No Way Out! Just like last year we'll be having two, count 'em, TWO Elimination Chamber matches. But this time the WWE Title and World Heavyweight Title will be defended inside the demonic structure. I'm pulling for Cena to retain and for either Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, or Triple H to come out with the WWE Title.

Plus we got another title match I'm very much looking forward to, ECW World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger defending against the Brawling Irishman Finlay! I wish Finlay the best to wipe that beaver grin off of Jack's face for good tomorrow night. So much momentum going into the match in Finlay's favor. He beat Jack in a non-title match last week then Christian handed Jack his second loss this past Tuesday! Finlay has this belt in the bag. Then whoever wins, Christian has issued a challenge for the winner to face him for the title. Plus we got Tommy Dreamer gunning for it too. I wish him the best as well.

Also another match I would kill to see. No Holds Barred. Shane O' Mac versus the arrogant 3rd generation NUTJOB Randy Orton. Shane better live up to his promise and beat Randy down enough to where he won't compete at WrestleMania. I'm damn sure hoping for that. ....Sadly Legacy could come into this but then again Shane did see that trap they tried to spring on him before so who knows? Lightning could strike twice and Shane will beat them all down. I'm hoping for this as well.

Also JBL vs. HBK for HBK's name! Though this is not necessary. Shawn's wife shouldn't be involved with this. She shouldn't have to be forced to get a front row seat to this match. I mean come on! But then again she'll have the pleasure of seeing her husband get his name back, and alot more. Kick JBL's teeth down his throat!

No Way Out has become another one of my favorite annual events thanks to the Elimination Chamber. The most extreme match in wrestling history is going to tear the house down in Seattle tomorrow night. Wrestlemania quality right here, folks. It won't get anymore grueling than this. This Sunday those who want to run have no where to go. No where to hide. NO. WAY. OUT!

Plus, gentlemen! We got a late Valentine's Day present coming our way in the Live Blog tomorrow night! DIVA INVASION! YEEHAW! What a great late present right? RIGHT?! Damn sure gonna be there for that! See you all tomorrow night in the Live Blog! This is the Small town Georgia boy signing off for now.

No Escape from our Next Stop. No Way Out.

Sunday, February 8, 2009, 02:50 PM EST [General]

Hello! Greetings from the small town Georgia boy. I haven't been here for quite some time. Busy with my college classes. Getting kinda hard to catch up. So now that I'm here I'll get up to speed with how things have been going for our WWE Universe so far in 2009. CM Punk Intercontinental Champion! Randy Orton wins the Rumble. ( BOOOO ) And now he's playing a "Disorder" card to keep on track to his title shot. Now which leads me to the upcoming event. No Way Out.

This is now just as good of a stop as the Royal Rumble in my opinion due to TWO words. Elimination Chamber. Brought back at No Way Out last year for Raw and Smackdown. Now it's even better this year! Both the WWE Title and World Heavyweight Title will be decided on both matches and we are now set to go with our victims I mean.. participants. John Cena defends his title on the Raw chamber match against Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Kane, Mike Knox, and Chris Jericho. I seriously got my doubts for Kingston and Mysterio.. two cruiserweight wrestlers in a match as crazy as this? Kane, Cena, and Jericho are all veterans of this match and aren't shy of the damage this match can cause. Mike Knox is a tough cookie and I know he won't back down from this. And now Cena is once again defending his title in this match. Thankfully Edge isn't here to screw it up this time. I wish mainly for Cena to retain, but if anyone other than Knox, or Jericho wins then it's alright I guess.

And for Smackdown we got Edge defending his title against Undertaker, former champion Jeff Hardy, Big Show. Triple H, and our latest qualifier, Vladimir Kozlov. For once I appreciate one of Vickie's actions by giving Jeff a shot without qualifying in the chamber match. All but Edge and Kozlov are veterans of this diabolical match. Yet Vladimir with his disposition he won't back down from a challenge. He's been yearning for one ever since he started in the WWE and he's damn sure got one on his hands now. I'm glad for this guy. I wish him the best. It's nice to see Undertaker's back in the match. He won it last year to get his title shot at WrestleMania XXIV and he might just come out of the chamber again with the WWE Championship around his waist. He beat Edge before and he can do it again. Triple H is not the least bit shy of this match. He's been in almost everyone there ever was. Dating back to the first one in 2002 at Survivor Series, then Summerslam of 2003, New Year's Revolution 2005, and last year at No Way Out. He's the biggest veteran in this match, and he's got a huge home field advantage inside Satan's baby boy. Big Show was in this match 3 years ago defending the ECW World Heavyweight championship and sure took a beating. Jeff Hardy. His first chamber was last year. He put up a huge fight and almost came out of it the winner. Vladimir despite being new, he will enjoy his time inside that chamber and possibly take his undefeated streak to new heights.

Taking a small detour from the main topic here.. I'm stilll in shock about what Matt did to Jeff to screw up his title defense at the Rumble.. I just can't belive Matt would do this.. both men had the dream of becoming a world champion and both got it.. So why Matt? Why would he do this? After No Way Out, Jeff will have his shot at retribution I'm sure.

Back on track now. With Randy's explosive path on towards his title match at WrestleMania, he's even had the gall to punt Mr. McMahon in the head, and threatens lawsuits on the WWE if he doesn't get what he wants. This brat has gotten on my last nerve and luckily Shane won't take this sitting down.  Come No Way Out, it's No Holds Barred! Shane better give Orton the beating of his life to finally humble this 3rd Generation spoiled brat.

Shawn might finally get his freedom from JBL's "Contract" or be enslaved forever come No Way Out. He will face his own boss in a match with his own name on the line. HBK better leave No Way Out with his name in tact. He would NEVER surrender to someone like JBL and I'm hoping like crazy that he takes him out and can tear up the stupid contract.

New ECW Champion Jack Swagger finally got what he deserved last week on ECW, a pin. Thanks to the fighting Irishman Finlay! And now that Jack's streak has been broken, it has given Finlay a rightfully earned title shot at No Way Out. And trust me, there will be NO WAY OUT for the All American Champion. It's about time Finlay won this title and now this will be the chance he's been hoping for. He broke the streak, and will sure break Jack's short title reign.  Speaking of which, I wish Tommy Dreamer the best to finally win the title before June comes around.. don't give up Tommy. You breathe, you live, you eat ECW. YOU ARE ECW. DON'T QUIT NOW. Win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship ONE MORE TIME!!! YOU ARE E! C! F'N! W!!!

The Road to Wrestlemania is long but worth the drive!

Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:56 AM EST [General]

Well I won't spend this little blog talking about Armageddon, but only this. Congratulations to Jeff Hardy for finally standing on the top of the mountain! He's finally WWE Champion! Now Matt and Jeff are world champions together! Very proud of you guys. Now on to what's closing in come 3 weeks. The Royal Rumble! Over 2 decades of 30 men in the ring duking it out to see who will headline WrestleMania. This year is special. this is the road to WrestleMania 25, a quarter of a century in the making of the biggest wrestling spectacle of the year.

We've already got a filling list of participants to be in the Royal Rumble match. Among them are Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Triple H, Shelton Benjamin, and The Undertaker. I wish the best to everyone in the match.

We also have two world championship matches. Edge will try and reclaim the WWE Championship from current champ Jeff Hardy come 3 weeks. Jeff better be coming out of the Rumble with the title. And I'm sure he will too.

We also have the World Heavyweight Championship match. JBL faces current champ John Cena. If it weren't for him having HBK as his employee then it would be HBK that would've won the fatal four way last week. HBK is now forced to be in JBL's corner when he claims to beat Cena and get the title. I really got mixed feelings about this match in general.

We also have a match for the Women's Championship. Current champion Beth Phoenix faces the qualified contender Melina. Thought lately.. what's with this raving female fan that keeps coming out of the audience to ..uhm.. inform of her fanfare with Melina? I have no clue. this is starting to take me back to Mickie James and Trish Stratus. I do NOOOOT like the sound of this. I wish Melina the best of luck to beat Beth and be a 3 time champion.

I'll be updating this blog with more matches when they're available. The Royal Rumble is my favorite event of the year because of it's unpredictable nature. 30 men battle for over an hour's of time to headline WrestleMania. It's awesome! 'Till next time, I'll bring updates.
