For every action, there is an equal and/or opposite BACKLASH!

Tuesday, April 7, 2009, 12:05 AM EST [General]

WrestleMania yet again has sadly come and gone. But the reprocussions of what made history this year, just like years past, will culminate into a BACKLASH. Those who have fallen at WrestleMania may have the Backlash tip into their favor or once again have it backfire. April 26th, 2009. WWE roars into Providence, Rhode Island at the Dunkin Donuts Center once more for this year's annual WWE BACKLASH! I know people mainly care about the "Major four" events of the year, but consider the unpredictability of this event, WWE Universe. After the Celebration comes the Backlash! And this event never disappoints. Rematches for titles, grudge rematches, or something that could've culminated between any wrestler at WrestleMania to form into a new rivalry! For all who will compete this year at this event, will the Backlash once again tip into their favor, backfire, or finally grant them retribution? This is the theme of Backlash and that's why I love this event!

1999, this event began and up to last year, it is a very historical event. One that in my mind should've been started since WrestleMania began. It's a very history making night thought not as close as what WrestleMania can dish out. Yet what has happened at the Grandest Stage can culminate into retribution for the fallen, or a major backfire for the fallen. The Celebration may be over, but for every Celebration, which in this case: WrestleMania, there is a BACKLASH. April 26th, Providence, RI we are gonna witness the 11th annual culmination into retribution of the fallen! IS THE WWE UNIVERSE READY?!

We already have two matches booked, WWE Universe! Six man tag: WWE Champion Triple H, Shane McMahon, and the newly returned ANIMAL BATISTA! will face Randy Orton and Legacy at Backlash! However.. modified by the new permanent GM of Raw, Vickie Guerrero, the WWE Title will be on the line... That witch. She shouldn't be allowed to but in and try to make things tip for someone outside of her family! So let me get this straight. If anyone on Triple H's team wins, he retains, if someone from Orton's team wins, He wins the title! WTF! COME ON!!! Though in again with Batista taking Vince's place, the look on Randy's face told the story. Plus, the interference that was then taken care of by the newly returned Animal during Vince's and Orton's match tonight. So now Batista is in the equation and Randy isn't very happy.. Hehe... It's gonna be big. Triple H's team will definitely win no problem.

Next will be Edge vs. Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship! In a Last Man Standing match! What a major Backlash for Cena to have to fight through. Neither man will have to hold back. What a way to enact a Rematch clause. Though Cena throughout his career has endured lots of hurdles that he's come across. Last Man Standing, Elimination Chamber, Steel Cage, you name it! He's been through alot in almost seven years so I'm sure he'll come out of Providence still the World Champion. Edge has had an experience with facing Cena before back in 2006, which culminated into Edge losing the WWE title in his own home town of Ontario, Canada at Unforgiven. IN HIS OWN MATCH. So with this Last Man Standing match, it'll be a repeat of almost three years ago. Edge won't be standing for the 10 count.

With these two matches already booked the night after WrestleMania, Backlash is shaping up to be another historical event this year. I'm very much looking forward to it, and I'm sure the rest of the WWE Universe will be too! SET YOUR WATCHES MARK THE CALENDARS! APRIL 26th WILL MARK ANOTHER BACKLASH! ARE YOU READY?!

WrestleMania 25. The 25th Anniversary had begun, and ended with a BANG!

Sunday, April 5, 2009, 11:52 PM EST [General]

Just minutes off from the finale of yet another groundbreaking, historic WrestleMania. The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania no less! History making moments as promised just like WrestleManias past. I was a part of the Live Chat tonight keeping up with the play by play made by Corey and any other superstars/WWE staff that stopped by to chat with me along with the rest of the Universe! WHAT A NIGHT! GRADE A PERFORMANCES AS ALWAYS! Just as AC/DC's song proclaims the WWE has rushed into Texas and they SHOT TO THRILL!

Too bad the Undisputed Tag Team Match was rescheduled as a Pre-WrestleMania match. However the entire thing was a showstealer nonetheless! The best tag teams holding the belts pulled out all the stops, hungry to become the undisputed tag team champions of World Wrestling Entertainment. And as I was hoping, my boys, The Colons, have roared into Houston and are now splashing out as the Undisputed Tag Team Champions. NOW DAS' COOL! And to use their own words against Miz and Morrison. BE JEALOUS!

A perfect way to kick off the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania is none other than the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Five star performance by every competitor participating. But ended in an unexpected, yet very groundbreaking way. CM Punk, last year's winner has gone on tonight to win it for the second time in a row! WHAT A MOMENT RIGHT?! I couldn't be happier for this guy! Now he maybe cashing in to face the World Heavyweight Champion again! He did it last year and could do it again! As he said in the post-match interview "Stay tuned to Raw!"

Next up came the 25 Diva Battle Royal! With the 25 Current divas competing, there were also some surprise appearences! and.. as in the past weeks with Santino proclaiming that he should have the right to be in the match.. came in disguised... ( Not very well ), and managed to win this. Seeing those pictures of him.. oy vey.. I wish I didn't eat at ALL today. I should've held off food all day but too late now. I feel nauseated from seeing the pictures of him in that getup. If I remember correctly from three years ago at WrestleMania, Mickie vs. Trish for the Women's Championship. J.R. said this about Mickie which I will now reiterate for.. "Santina" "I GOT ONE WORD FOR YA SANTINA! 'LITHIUM!' DR. PHIL IS LOOKING FOR YOUR NUMBER!" Take my advice, take some Lithium and get some help, Santino. You've got problems.

Following up next, Jericho vs. Legends! ( Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat, and Jimmy "SUPERFLY" Snuka! ) 3 on 1 handicap match in an elimination format. It's hard to believe how Jericho managed to pull this off. Steamboat was the last one to be eliminated but he pulled out his vintage style of battle techniques on Jericho yet still lost. However Ric and Rourke got the last laugh on behalf of the legends after Ric duked it out with Chris, finally finishing up with one hard left hook from Mickey himself. Great job you guys! As far as I'm concerned, the legends still prevailed tonight.

Next, Extreme Rules between the Hardy Siblings. A storybook rivalry that culminated into tonight. A very hardcore match which left me in awe. Despite the outcome of the match, it's all been left in the ring where it belongs. Scars, blood, battered remains of the weapons used. ( EVEN A VACUUM?! Can somone say Wal-Mart Brawl? ) The major turning point in the match to me would have to be Matt sandwiched between two tables before Jeff dived down on top of the first table, crushing Matt between them! WHAT A MOMENT! Plus a RINGING on Matt's doorbell. Trash can over the head with a nice well placed smack from Jeff and a crutch! That was hilarious! The overall match was indeed Extreme. And I doubt Matt and Jeff are through. Familiar with Backlash I'm sure, everyone?  Oh it's FAR from over. I see a match at Backlash for these two.

And as JBL, promised for his history making moment. It happened alright! But not in his favor. Just 21 seconds.... 21 seconds and like that, his IC title is no longer his. Rey Mysterio, Joker clad tonight in Houston, pinned the Native Longhorn and claimed his first taste in Intercontinental gold! I'm so proud of the high flyer! And as for MORE history form JBL! HE QUIT! RIGHT OVER THE MIC HE YELLED THE TWO WORDS I WAS HOPING FOR! "I QUIT!" What a happy day! In his Post-Match interview, Mysterio only had two more items on his "to-do list": Change that plate on the belt to his name, and PARTY! PARTY HARDY 619 IN HOUSTON! BOOYAKA BOOYAKA!

And in what would be proclaimed as the "Show stealer" match for the night, it was indeed lived up to the hype as it culminated over the many weeks up to tonight. HBK, Shawn Michaels. "MR. WRESTLEMANIA" vs. the Undefeated Streak of The Deadman, Undertaker. Two Texas homestate icons. Very intense was this match. Fists flying, Sweet Chin Music being dealt. The major moment in this match would be that as soon as that kick was dealt, UNDERTAKER KICKED OUT OF IT! You don't need your eyes checked for those who are reading this. Undertaker. Kicked. Out. Of. SWEET CHIN MUSIC. But just as he did this, a major Tombstone piledriver was delievered to HBK, but he kicked out of it too! But at the finale of this wonderful match, just as Shawn went in with a moonsault, it was caught, yes, CAUGHT, ladies and gentlemen, but Undertaker and formed into one last Tombstone which resulted in the undefeated streak remaining intact. He is now 17-0 at WrestleMania in his own home town of Houston.

Ever since Vickie started butting in with this Triple Threat match, throwing her heart out to who won between Edge and Big Show. This played into John Cena's favor in a psychological manner. With those two knuckleheads manly focused on leaving Houston with Vickie's heart, Cena capitlized on getting the win tonight, pinning the Big Show to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship! And as I spoke of earlier with CM Punk winning MITB again this year, I would love to see these two man lock up in a title match. Though when will Punk cash in? Only time will tell. With an honorable champion such as Cena, CM Punk won't have to do what he did last year. It'll be called right down the middle in what would be a very interesting clash.

Lastly, the big one. The Main Event for the richest prize in this company. The WWE Championship. One of the most intense, personal rivalries which began back almost five years ago. Randy Orton, youngest World Champion in History, but then shunned and beaten by The Game. ( Back then I didn't quite appreciate this stuff but now I'm happy for it. ) Years later, it has kicked into full gear, seemingly in Randy's favor after he last eliminated Triple H to become the Royal Rumble winner. Now having the right to get a title shot at WrestleMania. On Orton's road to Mania, he took out Vince McMahon, then picked off Shane at No Way Out. Then Stephanie with an RKO. THis finally sparked the Game to invade Raw from Smackdown to tend to his wife. It was on from there. After some coaxing from Triple H, Randy chose to end his rivalry at WrestleMania and for the WWE Title. Though they could not touch each other unless provoked in a physical manner until tonight. However Randy first violated this along with his cohorts from Legacy. Two weeks ago he finally struck the final chord which culminated in Orton's demise tonight. DDT'ing Stephanie then sealing his attack with a kiss to her. Then this past Monday Night, the McMahons returned and evened the playing field with Legacy sidelined by Vince and Shane, leaving The Game to ground and pound on Randy as Raw went off the air. I was loving it. And it couldnt've gotten any better than tonight when Triple H finally annihalated Orton with one of his own moves a Punt to the head, and a Pedigree to seal the deal and to retain his title. WrestleMania was great. Possibly my favorite one ever! ( My past one was WrestleMania 23, but the 25th Anniversary sure made 23 look like a House show! )

This is the small town Georgia boy signing off with his biggest blog entry to date. What do you expect? It's about WrestleMania! THE AFTERMATH OF ANOTHER GROUNDBREAKING HISTORIC EVENT! I hope you don't mind reading it! And in case you didn't get the news, WrestleMania will hit Arizona for the first time next year! WrestleMania XXVI! in Glendale, Arizona. March 29, 2010 at the University of Phoenix Stadium. DON'T MISS IT!

Hall of Fame! The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania! Can't get any bigger!

Saturday, April 4, 2009, 10:03 PM EST [General]

Ladies and Gentlemen! This is it! We are fresh out of stops! The bus has come to a complete halt! WWE Universe we are here.. This will not get any bigger than here and now. The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania is now upon us. Tomorrow night, for the 25th year in a row, more history will be made. More careers will be enhanced. Men and women now have yet another chance at immortality, and no better place than the grandaddy of 'em all. WrestleMania 25 in Houston, Texas! The Hall of Fame has been introduced for this year and I enjoyed it. The Fink, Von Erichs, the Funks, Stone Cold, Ricky Steamboat! Koko B. Ware! WHAT A CLASS!

Will this new chapter to the Hardys' sibling rivalry be short? Despite the outcome of their Extreme Rules match booked for WrestleMania, will they make up? Or continue to brawl until nothing's left? I'm pulling for Jeff. Matt started this, I'm hoping for Jeff to finish this.

As for JBL's "promise" to make History tomorrow night. I could care less. The bull's gonna get ridden and will lose. Rey's gonna take that Intercontinental Championship tomorrow night. 619 all the way!

The fifth annual WrestleMania Money in the Bank Ladder Match is again very star studded. Our winner from last year CM Punk is in it again, and the returning Christian! Kane is finally back! Finlay for the third time. Shelton for the FOURTH time. He's been in it more than anyone else! Mark Henry is in it too! I hope they reinforced those ladders.  It's gonna be big. I've got a tough pick between Christian, CM Punk and Kane to win this match. I wish them the best and to come out in one piece!

HBK has fired the first shot last month. It will now be the Showstopper's turn to take a hit at Undertaker's WrestleMania streak. And along their road to WrestleMania, Shawn has made it personal. The gloves are coming off and it's going to be a war  between these two tomorrow night. I'm very much looking forward to it. Two icons at WrestleMania. I've got no pick. I just want a good show from both of them.

The Undisputed Tag Team Championship match is gonna be a show stealer. No doubt. I've got respect for Miz and Morrison but their actions are clearly stating that they won't be World Tag Team Champions for much longer. The defending WWE Tag Team Champions The Colons, will be leaving Houston with all the tag team gold. No doubt. I'm looking forward to it.

who will be the first Diva to be crowned Miss WrestleMania?! I vote for Melina or Mickie James at the most. But it's WrestleMania 25. It'll be a huge surprise. Who knows what'll happen!? I just now there will be alot of as Jerry "The King" Lawler would say, PUPS IN A DOG POUND! YEEHAW! I can't wait!

The most personal rivalry ever. Which is culminating with Orton cashing in his Rumble win to face Triple H for the WWE Championship. I've got no doubt that The Game is gonna flatten Orton into a pulp just as he promised weeks ago.  though if he gets DQ'd he automatically loses the title. Not a problem. he doesn't need a sledgehammer to do away with him. Plus with what tranpsired last week, it's gonna be an even playing field. It'll just be Orton and HHH. But The Game's leaving Houston with his title. no doubt.

As for the Triple Threat match for The World Heavyweight Championship. Edge and Big Show have their heads too far up into the goal of leaving with Vickie's heart. Cena's got it in the bag. He's got the psychological advantage so he'll be a 2 time World Heavyweight Champion come the dust clearing at WrestleMania.

    Drawing nearer. 11 days away!

Wednesday, March 25, 2009, 01:20 AM EST [General]

Just eleven more days until the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania goes down in Houston, TEXAS! The card is just about full and the participants are getting fired up! Things between the WWE Champion Triple H and Randy Orton are reaching the boiling point. Ah hell it's already there! IT'S ERUPTING! After what transpired after RAW this past Monday, I was as angered as Triple H was... Randy having the nerve to kiss his wife  Stephanie.. He's just making it worse on himself. He's never beaten Triple H and he damn sure won't do it come WrestleMania. He better live up to his promise and break Orton's neck.

On to the Money in the Bank ladder match. All eight men are pumped and ready, plus the rivalry among them all seriously heating up. I wish them all the best, well except Mark and Shelton. I hope they get torn up. Though with what happened a few hours ago on ECW at the end of MVP's VIP lounge, could it be a sign that the Big Red Monster will finally ascend to the top, and then leave a burnt, ashy trail towards the moment he captures a world championship? I say it's about time he did! Though there is also the equally opportunistic Finlay, CM Punk, and Kofi Kingston. They are all worthy of the moniker Mr. Money in the Bank. I wish them the best and also hope they come out in one piece!

Lastly the Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Oh yeah it's mainly revolving around Big Show and Edge now. Some truce right? Whoever wins out of the two will also be the champion with Vickie's heart? Wow.. just wow... Not much to fight for there. However those two idiots care more about having her than the belt now. The good news? It will play well into Cena's corner and gain the advantage. with Vickie clouding their minds from the true picture, which is Edge's title, Cena has it in the bag and I'm looking forward to having the Champ, back on Raw.

Final thoughts: Jack better be defending at WrestleMania. Perhaps they'll do what they did last year? Then Jack losing in 8 seconds. LOL yeah that'd be awesome. Despite how arrogant and idiotic he is, the All American Ape, he can fight, and he hungers to keep his ECW World Heavyweight title. Also the Champions vs. Champions Winner take all Tag Title match will be a show stealer. Both huge tag teams that are champions. Winner take all to become the Undisputed Tag Team Champions! I wish Carlito and Primo the best. I may hate Miz and Morrison but I respect them for their resiliancy and athleticism. Lastly the Draft! Just eight days after WrestleMania things will get shaken up again! The WWE Main Draft live on Raw! Now that I think of it I have a few predictions.. I'm thinking Undertaker may go to Raw? Hopefully. Also maybe Cena going back to Smackdown. I know he debuted there but he's seem to make a better home on Raw. Though nonetheless Smackdown is where he started so if he gets drafted then so be it. also maybe Chris Jericho will be taken to Smackdown.  And of course the Supplemental Draft that follows. I'm betting Christian will be drafted for sure. Possibly to Raw. That'll be great to see Captain Charisma back on Raw! However if drafted to Smackdown, could we possibly be seeing him and Edge reunite? Maybe so! well that's all now. The Small town Georgia Boy is out!

    The Big One draws near!

Monday, March 16, 2009, 09:30 PM EST [General]

We're less than a couple of weeks away ladies and gentleman! This is the smalltown Georgia boy feelin' psyched and pumped for the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania! Let's try and get caught up here. The contract is finalized. Now a Triple Threat  match for the World Heavyweight Championship! It is Edge defending against Big Show and John Cena! Finlay and Christian have now punched their tickets to compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match! And what does JBL have in mind at the Grandaddy of them all after his groundbreaking win over CM Punk to win the Intercontinental Championship? We'll see!

Going back to last week. John Cena finally managed to weasel his way into the card to battle for the World Heavyweight Championship. Though it was a method that I wasn't expecting! I mean who else saw it coming? But then again he did let loose his vintage character afterwards. First he slips in during the second contract signing and "confesses" his feelings for Vickie Guerrero. At first I didn't catch on to the whole scheme. My jaw just... dropped! I mean what the hell man?! But afterwards he turned right back around and said what he really said to Vickie the week prior to last. "I've got friends", Cena said then simply showed some behind the scenes footage of Big Show and Vickie makin' out in her office! WOOHOO how juicy am I right? Vickie was bawling and losing her mind. Also last week Randy was going to explain the sneak attack that he and Legacy pulled off on Smackdown the week prior, but I knew this would culminate into something big. Oh it's gotten more personal than before which resulted into a HOUSE INVASION! sledge hammer in hand he tailed after Randy with the house in ruin on his path for the Legend Killer. Hell i don't blame Hunter at all. Though it's too bad he got arrested. What's gonna happen now? I know this little incident won't hinder what will go down at WrestleMania. NO DOUBT at all.

Moving on to ECW. a HUGE battle royal to earn a spot into the Money in the Bank Ladder match. My boy Christian won it BIG TIME! Finally eliminating Chavo Guerrero to get his spot. What a great match! This'll be his second MITB match ever but he's not shy of ladder matches in general. With the momentum he's been getting ever since he came back to the WWE, could he possibly win the match? I'm cheerin' him on though I can tell ya that much. At some point they need to push the ECW Championship a little bit. Can someone finally cash in for this belt?! I mean come on! Maybe Christian will be the one to go for it if he wins.

Finally on to Smackdown. There was one last match to determin the final contender in the MITB ladder match. And Finlay has got his ticket punched! The fighting Irishman is going on to once again compete in the ladder match and his fourth straight WrestleMania! Things have also been heating up between Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. I mean REALLY heating up. This will indeed be a showstealer come WrestleMania. Plus we're also aware that Jeff has finally caved in, it is now on. Matt vs. Jeff at WrestleMania! An intense sibling rivalry that Jeff at first didn't want anything to do with. But Matt has finally pushed the right button it seems, so now it's official. And Smackdown's on Deadman got retribution on the Moscow Mauler for making a pin on him last week, speaking of which, Shawn also giving him his first loss which gave him the spot to face Undertaker at WM25. And revenge is best served cold indeed, because retribution was served! Off topic here, things have been getting intense between Miz and Morrison against Carlito and Primo. The past two weeks they've defended their own titles against each other, both resulting in the retaining of each others tag titles. Maybe something could play in here to result in a match at WrestleMania! I'm hoping both teams defend their titles at one time come WrestleMania. That'll be epic. I respect both teams but I on Carlito's and Primo's side. It's been an intense rivalry and I think it should culminate into this match. A dream match. Probably the best tag team match in ages.

Also let's give a shoutout to the Divas! A 25 Diva battle royal to crown the first ever MISS WRESTLEMANIA! That'll be pretty big. This'll be HUGE! I can't wait. As Jerry "THE KING" Lawler would say, lots of pups in the dog pound in Houston! WOOHOO!
