We're less than 18 hours away from No Mercy according to my time zone! We've got a huge one this year that'll go down in the history books! The Ladder match between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho for the World Heavyeight Championship. This will be the be all end all for their rivalry and Shawn's damn sure leaving with that belt! He made the ladder match famous and he's going to prove it again by taking home that belt one more time!
Undertaker finally did what he set out to do since Unforgiven. He took Vickie's soul and managed to evade The Big Show while doing it! But there's no running come tonight at No Mercy. The Deadman will once again slay the giant and add another soul to his list! Show No Mercy Undertaker!
After the ECW World Heavyweight scramble, Matt didn't pin Mark Henry at all to win the match, but he'll have to in order to retain it tonight. Bring it home Matt! Topple the World's Strongest Man and stay on top of the mountain! Everyone's behind you I know this.. and we wish you the best! Get out of there with the title in tact.
As for the WWE Championship. The Game's got serious competition this year.. Jeff Hardy is once again reaching for that brass ring for the second time this year. And as he claimed to The Game a few weeks ago. He will not only grab for the ring, but he's taking the WWE Championship! Nothin' against Triple H but I want the Hardyz to be standing on top of the mountain together. GO JEFF! Take home the gold!
This year's card for No Mercy will culminate into History and go down as one to remember for sure! I'm very much looking forward to it and you all can catch me on the live blog. NO MERCY FOR THE SOULS WHO SHALL ENTER HELL! I wish Jeff, Triple H, Matt, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and Batista the best of luck in their matches. Lastly before I forget. The first match that was made for this event was Candice Michelle against Beth Phoenix for the Women's CHampionship. I'm glad to see Candince back in the ring, and I wish her the absolute best from the bottom of my heart to get retribution and beat Beth to regain the Women's Title. Get out there and win Candice! You can do it! All of you get out there and show No Mercy for your opponents! I'll be in the Live Blog!

Well No Mercy is upon us in just a couple of weeks. Thought I'd give the time on sharing my thoughts on this annual event dating back to 1999. This and every event no matter how long it's been circulated in the yearly calendar has made history in some key years. Key notes being that for two straight years. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker for the WWE Championship. Both in 2002 and 2003. Both of which Brock came out victorious. I respect the man for how long he's been in the business...despite it not being long at all. He's a champion to remember. What I was really amazed about was Brock Lesnar faced the Undertaker for the title in a Hell in a Cell match at this event in 2002. But he still won. Even despite Undertaker's injury he gave Brock a run for his money and I was sure that the Deadman would've beat him but nope. And even the Biker Chain match at the same event a year later, it seemed to tip in Taker's favor but Brock still won. And also another note of 2002's No Mercy. It was a title vs. title match. The then current Intercontinental Champion Kane defending against the defending WWE Champion Triple H. What a match that was! Triple H came out on top leaving the event that year with both belts. What a night. 2002's No Mercy was perhaps my favorite one out of the entire history of this event in General. A close second would be the 2007 No Mercy. Yeah that one part where the WWE Title changed hands alot in one night. Plus there was the Punjabi Prison match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Batista and The Great Khali. That was a match to remember I know. Overall still, 2002 was the best No Mercy. Now I shall share my thoughts on this year's upcoming event. The two key matches.. actually three I would like to focus on. First off Jeff Hardy finally has another shot at the WWE Title. No tricks this time now that a true champion is holding the belt: Triple H. This will be a fair battle to remember. I'm pulling for both of these men and I have a HUGE HUGE deal of respect for both. Though I'm slightly leaning into Jeff. I want him to finally taste the top of the WWE Mountain with that belt on his shoulder just like how Matt is now the ECW World Heavyweight Champion. This brings me down to Matt defending his title against the former champion Mark Henry. I fear this may date back to Summerslam when it was one on one and Mark was defending. Though it was because of Tony Atlas. If this was fair with no outside interference, I'd stake my life on Matt winning his title defense at No Mercy. I wish Matt the best of luck and to stay on top of the mountain of Extreme. Lastly is the World Heavyweight Title match between Chris and Shawn Michaels.. IN A LADDER MATCH. Back at WrestleMania X Shawn made this match FAMOUS. And to see this culminate into a Ladder Match at No Mercy will definitely put this year's event in the History Books guarenteed. Both Chris and Shawn aren't novices when it comes to Ladder Matches. Both of them had their share of them in the past and to see their rivalry come full circle in such a match will make HISTORY. I'm so very much looking forward to No Mercy this year and I can't wait to hit the Live Blog come showtime. As for those who are actually going to the event, I ENVY YOU. Lol. But seriously for those who are showing up for the event itself, have fun, stay safe. Enjoy yourselves. And sit back for more history that will be made at the 2008 WWE No Mercy! Ones at home watching it on PPV same deal. Sit back and enjoy the ride. I'll be on the Live Blog keeping track of the live coverage. I'm pumped!
As promised, tonight was going to be groundbreaking. A history making event that made this the biggest WWE Unforgiven in history. So far also the biggest event this year aside from WrestleMania XXIV. Sorry I was late on getting to the Live Blog but I got there just in time for some of the key matches that I've been looking forward to. Which were of course all three Title scramble matches. Plus the Unsanctioned Match between Jericho and Shawn Michaels. Tonight was also very unpredictable. Here's my review.
The ECW World Heavyweight Championship was pretty well set. I had a feeling that despite there are FIVE men involved, Mark Henry would've still been able to pull it off. I mean he's huge and strong. So I thought he'd still win so I was kinda sceptic. But I had my money on Matt or Finlay to win somehow. And behold! After a long time of pursuing a World Championship. Matt Hardy has become the official ECW World Heavyweight Champion at the end of the match. I'm so proud of this man for finally reaching the top of the mountain for real in his career. He definately earned it and I couldn't be any happier. I extend a super special congratulations to Matt Hardy our new ECW World Heavyweigh Champion.
The Unsanctioned match was as I knew it would be. Brutal, relentless, and of course... UNFORGIVING. It ended where Jericho couldn't compete anymore. How ironic. Shawn had him down on the mat just like how Jericho beat the hell out of his eye at the Great American Bash. HBK got what he wanted and I'm proud to see the outcome.
Now the WWE Championship Scramble! The Brian Kendrick finally got a spot in a huge match on his own but sadly didn't win. Triple H barely managed to officially retain the title. It would've been great for Jeff to finally win the title but sadly came up short. Though I'm proud of his effort. Congratulations Triple H for retaining!
Some time before the World Heavyweight Championship scramble CM Punk was in the middle of an interview before being jumped. What a classless act on Randy Orton's part. Seriously it's always the multi-generation wrestlers that are just full of themselves. Code Rhodes. Ted DiBiase Jr., and of course Randy Orton. I've had it with all three of them. Thanks to this act of classlessness CM Punk was unable to compete. And win the final five minutes were approaching, a battered and beaten Chris Jericho enters and pins Kane out of nowhere when there were 10 seconds left and runs off with the title! This is unfair! Jericho's just going to be a transitional champion without a doubt. Just slap luck for this clown. If it weren't for Randy Orton I'm sure CM Punk would've actually retained as well. But this? Oh yeah I'm very angry about the whole outcome.
And lastly after the attack Big Show wanted to put himself into the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble, but Vickie had to come in and insult him. Calling him a "Big Dumb Giant." Haha... then the Deadman enters with a coffin specially made for Vickie as promised. Coming to claim her soul and all. But this all ended up being a setup with Big Show throwing Taker into the coffin... Oh yeah I know that this will culminate into a Casket Match at No Mercy. No doubt about it.
Overall Unforgiven did indeed make groundbreaking history tonight just as I knew it would. Matt Hardy is finally a World Champion, Triple H retains, and Shawn got retribution. Alot of history was made tonight. Now from here on we move on towards No Mercy in October!

Unforgiven has stacked up to be what will be the biggest Unforgiven ever. The last one of this magnitude was in 2006 once the TLC match was brought back after four or so years. I will enjoy this year's annual Unforgiven very much. I may not get to watch it, but the Live Blog is just as good in my opinion. All three major titles are being decided in a scramble match format, which is HISTORY. This is like the scramble for the Hardcore title back in 2000 at WrestleMania. ( Yeah I think I made this comparison already. ) But three matches of this format will definately make history. And also I must not be the only one to say this, but it's about time Cryme Tyme got a shot at the World Tag Team Championships. They've had this coming for quite a while now and it will surely pay off this Sunday. And after a few months the Diva's Championship will be on the line, but not up against an opponent worthy of it. Both of these Divas don't deserve the belt. C'mon give the shot to Natalya for crying out loud! Or Victoria! What a joke of a first ever Diva's Champion. Neither Michelle nor Maryse deserve a belt. They've got a long way to go to become worthy of a title reign. Enough of that. Now the Unsanctioned Match with Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels has been sealed this past Monday night. I have no doubt in my mind this is as personal as it was back in 2002 between Triple H and HBK when they had their Unsanctioned Match at Summerslam that year. As J.R. would say to any other match of this magnitude: "This is not for the weak of heart." But if I had PPV capabilities, I would damn sure watch this match to the end and see Chris's bloodied carcass splattered all over the canvas. I'm so looking forward to Unforgiven. And I'm sure you all will too. I'll be on the Live Blog!

Well it's been made official. The final touch which will make this Unforgiven the best since 2006 has been added. I take that back. This Unforgiven will be the most groundbreaking event in HISTORY. The biggest Unforgiven of all time and probably the biggest event of 2008! An ECW World Heavyweight Championship scramble. Now there's a scramble for all three major titles. Sadly only two of the people I wanted in the scramble qualified. But it's still good! I have my money on Finlay or Matt Hardy to win the title. I wish them the best of luck come Unforgiven. Not to mention Jeff Hardy, The Brian Kendrick and Triple H in the WWE Championship scramble. Lastly I wish CM Punk the best of luck to retain his World Heavyweight Championship at his scramble. Good luck all competitors at Unforgiven! Also give Jericho a good swift kick in the @$$ for me Shawn! This Unsanctioned match better be Jericho's last for what he did at Summerslam.
