I don't know whether it's because i'm a fan of wrestling or not, but I found the wrestling episode of South Park a bit of a disappointment. They just didn't seem to fully understand the industry, and especially the current mindset of WWE.
Don't get me wrong, there are definately aspects of wrestling that can be made fun of, i.e. solving any issue with fights, (for WWE) the idea of a PG product that is based mainly around fighting, overselling, and the overt way wrestlers advertise their merchandise (apart from DX who make fun of the whole thing themselves). I liked the way they made fun of the amateur wrestler too, I must admit. But I just didn't think it made sense for them to make fun of the promos, and suggest that, in WWE, they get in the way the wrestling. For one thing, promos are a convention of wrestling, so that they do them isn't anything notable. It's like making fun of monologues in theatre. And saying that in WWE specifically, it gets in the way of the action, when TNA is much worse for that is also misguided. Plus, the content of the promos they showed was so unrecognisable compared to contemporary WWE that again, it just didn't make sense, and especially depicting Cena acting like an 'Attitude' character was a bit ridiculous. It wasn't even an exaggerated version of WWE, it was something very different, comparable to, if anything, TNA.
