first of all, its 9 years and second of all buy our players? we've had some of the same players since the 90's. (Jeter,Rivera,Pettite,Posada) Looks like a typical Yankees hater and a dumb@$S that doesn't know their baseball.

Lets look at the key reasons the Yankees won the World Series. Hideki Matsui, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Texiera, CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett. All those combined for a total of 90 HRs, 260 RBIs, 30+ wins and roughly 0 million of the payroll this season (all these are just estimates..I don't have the facts and figures in front of me) and when did they all come? Yeah..exactly.

Yankees win titles, big deal. Does that mean everyone who likes baseball has to like them? Shouldn't all hockey fans be fans of the Montreal Canadiens then because they have the most? Should all NFL fans be fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers?

yea on ESPN, mets fans took a poll saying who they wanted to win the WS: Yankees or Phillies and the majority of them picked Yankees. If it was Mets vs Red Sux I would pick the Mets. They really don't bother me at all.
