Yeah I agree. My pet peeve are the people who say a certain superstar sucks just because they don't like them instead of giving us a logical reason for why they aren't that good to them.

Post count will only be one part of the whole ranking equation. We will also take into account photos posted, messages sent, friend count, blogs written, etc.

There's a bunch of "post count gaming" going on, where people post 5-10 words on old threads just to boost their numbers. That's going to change once we lock down old threads and enforce a minimum character count for threads to be counted by the rankings.

Yeah that's a good question. I would rather have everyone start off with a clean slate.

But the people who contribute in other ways, like blog, and help others should get honerable mention.  Thats just my opinion. I wouldnt mind either way

People already with high post count should automatically become top posters of the Universe.

The problem is some of us had a high post count this was announced and we were targeted by a group and banned and lost everything we had. Some of us had huge profiles and were very careful not to cross lines so we would not lose them and lost them anyways.

I had a similar experience. I had my old account ever since the beginning and all of sudden I was banned, for no reason. And I got no warning or anything. All my friends, groups, blogs, pictures, gone. It was just complete BS. I am a very respected poster and the reason I got banned is beyond me.

That's what I'm checking into right now ... I think we'll have to start at a "clean slate" for all users from the day we turn it on. Which is good for some users, not so good for others.

So is there like a E file that has all the "complaints" that have been made against you, and if there is, can you determine if theyre "gang flags" or not?

I don't think that at all. Many message board sites have "top users" that act as sheriffs for their site. It's needed to provide leadership and stability. Granted, some will feel like they are being "picked on" because they think their 20 "Orton should die" (real thread ...) and it was deleted. But that's the rules...
