How come it takes so long to get ideas put in practise on this site? One you think it's good enough do you have to suggest that to someone else or pass it straight over to the programmers?

Also with the new system coming into play I still don't think it wil help the Moderating of this site (from what I've heard about it thus far) because one of your Moderators "The BOy" actually admitted to just deleting threads before checking whether or not it was breaking the rules.

As for ideas and changes on site, we work with two teams of developers ... one at WWE.com and one at our hosting company. Since the WWE.com programmers are working on the entire WWE.com site, it's tough to move quickly. All of our wants and needs need to be scheduled in, and cross-checked with the hosting company developers. So, it can be long and laborious to get things changed. But we keep trying.

As for the moderator issue, I've talked to our moderators recently about that issue and reinforced the fact that every abuse report must be read in context. But often times, if an item is reported as abusive by multiple users, they will quickly delete it. Strength in numbers...

Animated GIFs have a larger file size that normal photos (more frames, bigger file), and they take longer to load. And avatars appear throughout the site, so whenever an aniGIF was used, it slowed down the load time for the page.  You can still post them in the photo galleries (if they don't violate Terms of Use), but no using them in avatars. Sorry.

Sorry, they pay the bills. They stay. But we do monitor which ones are glitchy and remove them from the rotation.

It's coming later this month ... We will be "archiving" the old sections so they can be read, but not posted to anymore.  They will be hidden from view as well.
