In the back of my fan mind, I recall the Lex Express getting derailed cuz people were talking he'd get the title and early daze'd usenet fan's had pretty much said it was his and the fact he didn't get it was Vince was ticked at everyone knowing the outcome.  Sure back then it must've been more of an initial spoiler shock for the chairman, who now adays is probably more highly annoyed and seasoned than in the previous 'destroy any instance or thought of leaks' in days gone by.

So to my surprise seeing WWE.COM put Lex in the where are they now recently made me happy and brought a bit of peace.  Last updates the fanbase had seen was his recovery from spinal stroke and living in a spare bedroom of a pastor friend.

The whole aftermath of the WWE, jump to WCW during Monday Night Wars must still leave a bitter taste in VKM's pallet.. however the article made me happy and hope that it's part of a road to the WWE Hall of Fame for this outstanding performer.
