My source is http://www.ewrestlingnews.com
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff signed to TNA around the same time. Ric Flair is in talks for a contract with TNA. According to http://www.ewrestlingnews.com, Eric Bischoff was signed to bring a TNA show to Monday night, running from 8-10 pm. TNA has also apparently said that within the next few days, more major changes and big stars will be coming in. Apparently also Vince Russo could be possibly leaving TNA as soon as a problem arises. I believe that TNA is taking their company to the next level and will be able to compete with WWE. |

yeah but you also have to take into consideration that Hogan and Bischoff are the ones that screwed up WCW. I hope that they have both learned a lot since then cause if they do it again, Vince WILL purchase TNA like he did WCW.

Hogan could possibly help TNA but they have to play him just right or it'll fail but it was a smart move. it'll get them the exposure they need since many people still don't know who TNA is.

A WCW revival in TNA?...interesting...now all they need is one for ECW maybe they should start hiring the ECW originals...just a thought.

It does seem like TNA is on its way to becoming WCW 2.0. But hopefully people like Hogan and Bischoff learned their lesson last time around and won't help to drive another wrestling company into the ground. Perhaps in a couple of years TNA might be able to go head to head with WWE but I don't think they should be thinking about that right now.
Signing Hogan was a good move on TNA's part. But having said that they have to use Hogan in the right way. They can't have a 56 year old broken down wrestler burying all of the young talent. I'd have Hogan play a general manager type role who only wrestles occasionally. I would imagine that Hogan will debut as a face. But I wonder if another heel turn is possible. |
