No he didn't win the belt, but the result of this match is what Hunter is all about. He clearly didn't want to lose the title to Hardy. The solution? Bring Edge back early and have him do it. Of course, it was Edge that got pinned for the win tonight and not Trips, what a surprise.

Sorry, cast your mind back to Survivor Series.... Remember that night? Triple H was pinned.... by Edge.... to lose the title. No difference whether it's Edge or Jeff, he still lost it. It has nothing to do with his ego. He still lost this match as well. He's now lost 2 PPV's in a row. All those that think he's an egotistic piece of **** - well I've got just two words for ya....

Trips will solidify his legacy by burying Hardy soon enough... I doubt this title reign lasts past WM25, if it even makes it that far. The ONLY reason Hunter dropped the title was so he could win it back at WM25. If this doesn't make that obvious to you, you're blind.
