Advice for Maryse

Here’s what I think Maryse needs to do to step her game up:
1) She needs more ring time; this means on tv, house shows, and practice/training section matches. 2) Whether through working with the creative team, watching past & present WWE superstars’ (both male & female) matches, and/or trail and error Maryse needs to develop the following. (A) Moves & gestures that she will do before her signature finisher and non-finisher maneuvers, for example like how The Rock use to take off an elbow pad before performing The People’s Elbow, when Booker T use to do the windmill break dance maneuver before the scissor kick, or when John Cena does the “You can’s see me” hand gesture. (B) Signature non-finisher maneuvers, like Trish’s Matrix back bend, Stone Cold’s Lou Fress (not sure of the speaking) press, and the arm chop maneuver that the Undertaker does when he walks on the top rope while holding an opponent’s arm. 3) Work on lessening her accent, I’m not saying she needs to totally get rid of it, I’m just saying she just needs to work on making it less pronounce and thick sounding. 4) She needs to develop some catchphrases. alexl467 |

Maryse has only been in WWE for 2 yrs so I thikn she should go back to FCW for about another year and learn her craft, come up with a decent finishing move and get a decent move set. I've never even seen Maryse do a dropkick yet, If shes going to have a basic in ring style then she needs to choose one, because its very hard to watch her in matches.

I think Maryse is the last Diva needed to develop character.. she has bucket loads of it. I think the real problem areas at the moment with regards to character are the bella twins..
So far they are doing alright in the ring, but they are character-less and quite boring to watch in that respect. Mickie James, Candice, Katie Lea and Maria I also think could do with some of your "advice" cos they seem to be lagging at the moment. All four of them have had great characters in the past but they need to fine tune themselves really soon. |
