I think Matt Striker is a great announcer and I think WWE made a great choice putting him in as announcer on ECW.

yes i like him better than the raw or smackdown commontaters but it would be good if he started to compete in matches again well ecw could do with a little help and more matches so matt striker and dj gabriel would make an interesting feud.

I feel Matt Striker is the best commentator at the moment. Cole and Grisham should have never been allowed to do commentary, Tazz is meh, Lawler not putting the heels over is a waste and J.R. just isn't what he used to be. Matt Striker's knowledge of the business, witty remarks and mind blowing references are what make for great commentary, and the worst part about the commentary has to be PPV's. Whenever someone tries to be witty or get a talent over with some kind of "I was talking with them" story the other announcers **** on them in some way. They need to STFU or focus on calling matches and getting talent over.

Striker is currently the best color commentator in WWE. He's knowledgeable about the sport (not to say King and Tazz aren't, obviously) and provides a lot of interesting facts. Could do without the political references, but other than that, he's great.

I think Striker's commentating is very good. I do miss Joey Styles and Tazz though.
