the ending to the big show vs undertaker match was ****

I agree. This year's No Mercy wasn't very good. However, I have better reasoning than certain wrestlers winning certain matches, ect.

First off, I'd like to remember that last year's No Mercy (kinda hard to believe it's already been a year) was a stellar PPV. Hands down, one of the best WWE has produced in the past 5 years.

Now as for this year's card, it seemed sloppily put together. I didn't like the fact that the ECW Title Match was the opener. Secondly, it felt like the impromtu match with Batista & JBL which consequently led into the segment with Crime Time was totally rushed and a last minute addition to fill time.

Also, I'm not one to suggest veteran wrestlers playing politics, but, come on. Undertaker should have envoked a clause to change the finish of the match. Face it. Big Show is as over as he's ever going to get. Now, I don't mind the fact that Undertaker lost the match. However, the match should have ended when Big Show countered Old School and pulled Undertaker into the Chokeslam. What I don't like is that Big Show "knocking out" Undertaker totally kills 'Taker's character and makes him look weak.

As for the WWE Title match, this reminds me of the WrestleMania XXIV main event (Michaels VS Cena) because HHH carried Jeff Hardy throughout the ENTIRE match and had to dumb down his skills to make Hardy look good and get a decent match out of him. Much like Michaels had to do with Cena at WrestleMania XXIV

However, the main event saved (and stole... which wasn't hard to do) the show. If you can bank on anyone in WWE having a good ladder match with Shawn Michaels it would be Chris Jericho.

I agree. Sure, the ladder match was exciting (and painful - losing teeth is always good stuff), but RAW the next day was more entertaining IMHO.
