The WWE is a soap opera for guys.  It's a guilty pleasure with lots of action and choreographed stunts involved.  I see nothing wrong with that.  It's entertaining.  NO it is not a real sport, it is stricktly entertainment.  If you want to watch a real sport with athletes going at it against each other in the ring watch MMA or Boxing.

See, that just hits a nerve with me. People say "If you want to watch a real sport watch MMA or boxing". That makes WWE look fake, and it makes it look like the Superstars/Divas never get hurt. I know when they get seriously injured, it mainly due to accidents, but they get sore. And getting sore isn't from accidents, that's just from wrestling in the matches. Someone asked Cena how long it takes to recover from a match, and he said about 24 hours. But you gotta think,

But you gotta think, by the time 24 hours comes around, they're in another match again, so they're probably never really fully recovered, other than the days they're off. Anyone that says it's totally fake doesn't know how real it actually is. I have total respect for each and every one of those Superstars and Divas for what they put their bodies through for us.

Agreed. But the point i was making is that WWE cares more on storylines then wrestling which also was a hugh reason why they big today too.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. But that's the thing about WWE. They use the storylines to put the matches over, which makes it entertaining. It's not like UFC or boxing, where there's no build up to the match at all, other than one guy wants a shot at the other guy's Title or whatever. I a

I agree, the storylines are part of what makes WWE so popular, and what has gotten it where it is today, but it makes the show more entertaining IMO.

I understand that and fully agree as they should do that to make things excitting and interesting but they have LESS WRESTLING now and MORE TALKING AND DRAMA. Thats the problem

sports-entertainment isn't much different from hollywood these days. except in this case, stunt men and woman are leading stars.
