IMO Matt has always been somewhat over-rated. I never saw anything special, or "extreme" about him, but that's probably just me.

Does anyone think Matt Hardy is becoming overrated?
I don't believe he is yet but he will become overrated soon. He has defeated Mark henry twice, but he didn't pin him himself. I am not a hater, but what is he proving to everyone if he does not pin him on his own?
PS: Looks cool with the belt though.
This is exactly why I didn't want him winning a World Title. As soon as the person everyone wants to win a World Title/Get a push, gets one, they become "overrated".
Matt doesn't deserve that, especially since he's busted his ass for 16 years. Everyone is so ungrateful.[/
Is this thread still going, shame on you people. The only wrestlers considered over-rated (and there are plenty) are those that have Haters. They are like Vultures waiting to feed on the kill, the kill in this case being the Wrestler who has achieved something to be proud of. He will become over-rated in the eyes of the fans on this forum if enough threads are created saying he is. It's pathetic and a waste of space.

I don't even want to know how "overrated" you guys think Ric Flair is then. Just cuz someone achieves something, doesn't make them overrated. You shouldn't push for them to win a major Title, then when they get it, turn on them for being "overrated". Some fans just don't make sense...

Could anyone seriously think Flair is over rated? The man is a legend and what he has acheived throughout his career is amazing. I have said it before but I will say it again, Matt deserved to win that ECW title and and in no way shape or form is he over rated or even close to being over rated. Go Matt!!
