Matt Hardy? overrated? I certainly don't think so.
ECW is the best wrestling show.

no he isn't, they just made him get 2 wins over Mark Henry just to make him mad. They'll probably have him get a real pinfall over him eventually but not now...it's apart of a storyline. He deserves that title and isn't overrated at all

I CAN CLEARY SEE THAT WHAT I POSTED UP HERE WAS MISREAD; MISUNDERSTOOD. I DID NOT SAY HE IS OVERRATED I SAID HE WILL BECOME OVERATTED SOON, LET'S GET THAT RIGHT. Ok, Matt is no overrated, and i dont think he will be anytime soon he has earnt his stripes unlike others such as Batista and John Cena, who competed for 3 years and won titles (I am not saying they are ****, even though i dont like Batista at all) all i am saying is there use to be an unwritten rule in the industry that you need to prove yourself, and you were not able to even think of getting a WWE Contract until you had wrestled 4 - 5 years on the Indy Scene, then work your ass off to get anywhere, Matt, Edge, Jeff. Christain these guys broke in about the same time and we have watched there ascent to the top, Matt is definatley NOT Overrated and wont be as he has earnt his spot on ECW.
As for Jeff and Matt who is better, i has been said many times and was included on the Hardy's DVD, Jeff seems to fans to be the outstanding brother because he does major spots and has the swanton as his finish and when he is in the ring you are garenteed to see him jump of the ropes, Matt is more of a Fundemental wrestler, he is more solid and has stablity in his match, they mean something and in recent times Matt has been having more and more awesome matches he tells a story in the ring, he doesnt need to be a high flyer, to qoute JR "Matt is the Steak, and Jeff is the Sizzle" I want to see both brother with the title but you can not say one is better than other when there is no way to compare as they wrestle different styles, and i find both very entertaining. For me what put Matt in the Mainevents was his awesome fued with MVP it was the greatest Rivalry of 2007 and now both of these guys are getting further in the business, MATT HARDY DESERVES HIS TITLE RIEGN and i hope it is a long one |

no he's not overrated. but he's not as good as jeff or the top guys on raw or sd. moving him to ecw was the best thing for his career. he's without a doubt top 3 in ecw

Nope Matt is defintaely not overrated - he is a great wrestler and worked damn hard to get that ECW title. His whole world is wrestling and he gives everything to it - that makes him a great ECW champion. Overrated wrestler - maybe look on Smackdown at their champion, there you will find overrated!!

Yep, I was waiting to see how long it would take for a thread like this to appear - it seems that many wrestlers are over rated really if some threads are to be believed :D
I don't think he's overrated (To overestimate the merits of; rate too highly) If anything he has lived up to (and occasionally added to) what many people believe him to be capable of. Granted it may have taken longer than some believed but he has still achieved it - regardless of any bumps along the way. If everyone had said - "Oh yeah, he can rule the WWE and be champ at everything etc etc" then yes, that's slightly overrating him, but we haven't (because thats a little silly) and what we have said he is capable of (winning a title, being a champ) he has pulled off. I could make some long, colourful sig with a bunch of names on that may mean something to me or just be there for the heck of it – But you only need to know five things about me…
